Neat and spacious. Had a large campervan which is hard to find parking for most accommodations. Thankfully they had a huge parking space that fit the campervan nicely and was free too!

This hotel stay was truly exceptional, offering a wonderful combination of a peaceful, quiet location and top-notch amenities. The best part was the ability to gaze up at the stars through the large windows - the perfect way to end each evening. The check-in process was seamless, with the owner providing the password to the key box ahead of time so we could access the unit with ease. Once inside, we were impressed by the large, spacious layout and the high-quality kitchen equipment. The added touch of having two comfortable bean bag chairs for stargazing was such a lovely and thoughtful detail. And having two bathrooms was a huge plus, especially when traveling as a family. Overall, the combination of the quiet, scenic location, well-appointed unit, and attentive host made this one of the best hotel experiences we've had. We'd absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with exceptional stargazing opportunities. It's a hidden gem!

The place is lovely, but unfortunately the host didn’t send me instructions how to check in. We had to look for WiFi in a public place to be be able to call him. It took us a while to find it. There was no shampoo, only 2in 1. Ladies with long hair, bring your own shampoo and hair conditioner. Otherwise the place is new and comfortable.

The location is good, about 7 minutes' walk from the center of the town. The room has ample heating equipments, so you can have a warm sleep even in the coldest winter days. However, the sound insulation condition is bad and will interact with the guests on the other side of a thin wooden door. The most difficult thing to understand is the area is less than 40 square meters, but the introduction says 80 square meters. The hotel is small and the facilities are complete! There is a garage for the corresponding room, but the front desk does not go to work on Saturday and Sunday. The keys will be placed in the envelope after 2 pm, very creative!

The room was lovely, everything was clean and fresh. Bed was large and very comfortable with extra bedding if needed. Bathroom was clean and had washing machine and dryer in . If I had to find fault the only thing was the lovely big window had a pattern on which ment you couldn’t see the view of the river. Would definitely stop again

Christchurch chose to stay at Cambridge Discovery Hotel, and the experience was really great! It is located in the center of Christchurch and is very convenient. It is only a few steps away from the Bridge of Remembrance and a 3-minute walk from the Canterbury Earthquake Memorial. Tips: There are more than a dozen parking spaces, which need to be reserved in advance for 25 a day, which is cheaper than the parking lot next to it for 5 an hour, and there are unlimited entry and exit. The location is great, right by the sea, it's very convenient to watch the sunrise and sunset, and the scenery is great. After taking a shower in our room 13, there was water everywhere on the floor. This experience is very bad and should be improved as soon as possible.

Pros: Everything was clean. There was ample heating. Relatively near the main tekapo area (1 min drive). House was spacious. Cons: The wifi password was handwritten badly and it was a guessing game to get the password. Also uncontactable via email. No barricade around the house and there’s other houses right next door. People could walk by your room / house windows and peer in. Which was what happened to me twice. Zero privacy unless curtains are fully drawn.
