It is what a motel supposed to be. Clean. Sufficient amenities. Insulation is good, so it will not get cold in the morning. Best thing is they provide specific parking for the room. Free summore. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed the stay in this hotel as it has everything we need - microwave, plates, utensils, and toilet is spacious. The receiption even gave us welcome brownies! It’s so nice of them. One thing is - it would be great if there’s a plug under the work desk. There’s no plug around there, so I need to move around for charging. Maybe can resolve by plug extension, it’s not a biggy! It’s walking distance to pak n save, we did that! And next to botanic garden :)

This is an outstanding little Motel, with great facilities, but surprisingly Google says that it is a 3 star hotel.No way; it's much better than the 4 star hotel we stayed in the night before. It's a great value hotel, close to the centre of town and railway station. Book it! You'll be glad you did!

Arrived late afternoon..straight into the apartment Was lovely and clean and great facilties. Although we had an accessible room , shower was good. Free laundry facilties a bonus. Location very good. Encounter coffee was just a short walk away and the ocean was in eyesight. Loved Kaikoura even though was just a short stop en route to Nelson. Scenery amazing and Pier restaurant had great seafood. Very calm and serene atmosphere. Mountains in the distance and visiting the seals was lovely.

The location is good, about 7 minutes' walk from the center of the town. The room has ample heating equipments, so you can have a warm sleep even in the coldest winter days. However, the sound insulation condition is bad and will interact with the guests on the other side of a thin wooden door. The most difficult thing to understand is the area is less than 40 square meters, but the introduction says 80 square meters. This hotel stay was truly exceptional, offering a wonderful combination of a peaceful, quiet location and top-notch amenities. The best part was the ability to gaze up at the stars through the large windows - the perfect way to end each evening. The check-in process was seamless, with the owner providing the password to the key box ahead of time so we could access the unit with ease. Once inside, we were impressed by the large, spacious layout and the high-quality kitchen equipment. The added touch of having two comfortable bean bag chairs for stargazing was such a lovely and thoughtful detail. And having two bathrooms was a huge plus, especially when traveling as a family. Overall, the combination of the quiet, scenic location, well-appointed unit, and attentive host made this one of the best hotel experiences we've had. We'd absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with exceptional stargazing opportunities. It's a hidden gem!

Great Stay Near Lake Tekapo! The unit was sparkling clean and spacious, with a lovely courtyard to enjoy. The bed and pillows were clean and comfortable, ensuring a good night's rest. Contrary to some reviews, no deposit was required, which was a pleasant surprise. The location is fantastic—less than a 5-minute drive to Lake Tekapo—and parking right in front of the unit was very convenient. The check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow. The facilities were great overall especially kitchen amenities and 2in1 washer with dryer! The dish wash machine helps lot on the kitchen cleaning work! The only suggestion I have for improvement would be to add a fence in the shower area to separate the wet and dry zones, which would make it even better. Overall, a wonderful stay. Highly recommend!

A particularly perfect house, from intimate floor heating to all-available kitchen facilities, plus a 75-inch TV, is a good place to travel with friends on weekends!

- Good point: recently built, neat and comfortable accommodation, good location, quiet alley, electric mat on the bed - Complementary: Some facilities need repair (bathroom shower head, toilet paper hanger, front door curtain hanger broken, dryer front repair, TV remote battery replacement, etc.) In particular, the separation of the bathroom is only curtains, so the water splashes on the floor, which is very inconvenient. And the folder chair in the bathroom suddenly tilted, which looks very dangerous.
