Nice youth hostel. I don’t know because I stayed on a non-holiday basis, so I thought it was quite quiet. The convenience is also very good. There is Quanlian, FamilyMart, 7-seven Carrefour night market nearby (because we checked in on Monday and Tuesday, the night market was not open🥲) The breakfast is good and exquisite, and the coffee is delicious (with discount coupons), so the price is okay

Had a super good deal (price for the room) on trip.com. Would recommend this hotel for sure to everyone who visit Taitung. Great location (city center). Love the design of the hotel. Nice relaxing space, big shared kitchen, green and open. There is a laundry area (to be paid for the wash machine and dryer). The staff is very friendly. Specially the girl at the reception when I checked out, could change my non-used voucher for a souvenir from the hotel (bag). The best hotel (price and quality) during my 9 days trip through Taiwan (Taipei, Hualien, Taitung, Kaohsiung, Tainan).

In terms of food, the hotel can provide breakfast and dinner; the restaurant is on the second floor of the hotel, providing drinks (including: Hibiscus tea/cocoa/coffee) and food (breakfast has Chinese meals and Western toast to choose from), and afternoon tea (ice cream & cookies) is available on the first floor of the hotel for a limited time. As for the guest rooms, the family rooms have dry and wet separation, and the toilet also has a bidet function. In terms of transportation, there is a convenience store nearby and a parking lot is available behind the hotel.

The 4-star hotel found on Ctrip is reasonably priced and located on Zhengqi Road, the main road in the city. Many snack bars are gathered here, basically within 5-600 meters, and you can find them all within a few steps... After 8 p.m., Yexiao is also available. The content is unambiguous, almost like a simplified version of the buffet dinner... My favorite is braised pork rice + braised eggs, classic and full of flavor, quite authentic! We went to the restaurant for breakfast at around 7 o'clock the next morning. It was the same restaurant and there were quite a few customers!! The dishes were very different from Yexiao. The most similar thing was a bowl of braised pork rice + braised eggs, plus some fish floss, which was satisfying. ing!! Echeveria salad is very special and tastes good!!

I am two people staying, it is a very beautiful and design homestay, but the service attitude is really bad. As soon as I entered the door, I had to fill in the basic data form. When I was filling in, my friends in the ground kindly drove us to the hotel. I wanted to say that I would enter the door to visit together, but I was asked by the service staff in the lobby who was the third person. I said that I was a friend and would not stay. Immediately, I was beaten: Of course, you booked a double room. Of course you can't live. Then we asked our friends to hang on the sofa in the lobby, and the service staff did a publicity for 10 minutes before letting us stay in the room. To be honest, I lived for only one day, and it was not a 10-year-old child. I didn't need to talk about the rules. There were clear signs in the homestay. I knew Chinese and always followed the rules. And the bathroom floor was super slippery, I stepped on a small floor after the shower and immediately slid forward in a split-leg way. After 10 minutes of publicity, there was no mention of two non-slip mats + two floor towels provided by the bathroom before I fell to death. At the beginning, I thought the price was at the hotel/hotel level. I didn't see it clearly. I booked a homestay and will book a hotel in the future. I don't consider a homestay.

I had a pleasant stay at Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel 4 years ago, so thought I'd try Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel II this time, as they are located near to each other, very close to the bus station and Tiehua Village. This is a great location to explore the city. However, other than the superb location and the bigger room, there isn't much else to love about this hotel. There was literally no service at this branch. Staff were not welcoming and unlike other hotels in Taiwan, they do not greet guests when you are at the lobby. I also never saw any of them smile at guests. In fact, on my first day of check-in, I was blatantly told to check in at Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel instead, because ”the hotel is closed for the day”. When I asked how come I was not informed earlier, the staff answered ”because you don't have a Taiwan mobile number”. This is absurd to me, isn't there the Trip.com messaging service where you can contact guests? Very disappointed with the way they handle such cases, no apology at all, and just gives a very transactional feeling. The only time I encountered a staff who greeted me was at the breakfast restaurant. Room amenities and facilities look like they need proper maintenance, and the windows were so dirty. The bed was also not very comfortable to sleep on. Lastly, I know Taiwan hotel breakfasts are usually not so nice compared to eating out in the breakfast shops, but the quality of the breakfast was really bad. Seasonal fresh fruit selection was only watermelon on 1 morning, and guava + watermelon on another. In conclusion, very disappointed with my stay here this time. Will definitely think twice about returning to Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel II the next time I visit Taitung again.

This is my first time to Taitung. Between Hotel Royal Chihpin and Z hotel, I chose Z Hotel due to its strategic location in city centre and close proximity to many eateries, Taitung forest park & Haibin park. To make sure that I get to enjoy the high quality onsen, I took a cab which cost me TWD500 to HRC. The breakfast served at Z Hotel was my favourite among all the hotels which serve buffet breakfast. Oh, did I mention that I got auto upgrade to a spacious, deluxe triple room ? The bed is very comfortable and room is squeakily clean. Though it is facing the main road, I didn’t hear any traffic noise at all !

Very good and value for money due to location, friendly staff, snacks provided, good breakfast variety. Only complain is the toilet design. Should have a slight partition so that when bath will not wet the whole toilet But overall a great recommendation

First time staying here. Overall, I feel pretty good. However, many facilities are not friendly to my elderly family. Because the toilet in the room has high steps, it is very inconvenient for the elderly with poor feet to enter. Also, it is inconvenient for my elderly family to go up and down in the hot spring area, and there are few facilities and handles. If I entertain friends, I will still choose to stay here.
