The Unizo Inn was one of the best locations I have stayed at in Japan. The room, relative to Japanese standards, is quite spacious and their degree of cleanliness is enough for even me, someone seldom fickle about cleanliness, to perceive. In addition, they also have a water dispenser situated just outside the elavator in the hallway leading to the room for anyone who might need some hydration. On the other side of the water dispenser was a VOD ticket machine for any guests interested in viewing the hotel's selection of movies. While I did not make use of this service, I am certain there are some travellers who would be most pleased to have something to entertain them even in their room. While I did not decide to have breakfast included with my room for the duration of my stay, the area in which the hotel is located makes it a prime location to acquire breakfast, whether that be a Matsuya right below the hotel or, my preference, Yoshinoya a little ways away. On the note of location, though, the hotel is well situated near Sannomiya station, giving ease of access to other regions of Kobe. That said, the wealth of restaurants and stores near the station alone could probably keep one interested in food occupied for a while. The staff were overall very friendly and the experience as a whole was most enjoyable. One point to note, however, was that like every other hotel I have been to in Japan, there is a stark absence of three-holed outlets so North Americans with three-pronged plugs should be aware of this and come prepared with an adapter of some sort.
For this price I think it's already meet my expectations. For the location it's within 10 minutes walking distance and restaurants and shopping centre is within walking distance too. Clean room and well equipment esp. the movable massage machine is appreciated.
I used it for my first trip.
There are places to play nearby, and there is also a hot spring, so I am very satisfied.
The reason I lowered my rating the most is because I couldn't enjoy it due to renovations and inadequate facilities.
There were quite a few issues like that, so I wondered if that was reflected in the price plan, so I only lowered the rating as minimally as possible.
But overall I am satisfied.
When you arrive at Woody Town Chuo Station, you will find Kobe-Sanda Hotel right next to it. There are Aeon, Lopia, and Gyomu Super nearby, so it is a convenient place for shopping. When you enter the hotel elevator, you will smell the pleasant scent of lavender. This hotel has a beautiful view of Sanda.

Very nice and cosy ryokan with beautiful interiors, perfect personnel service and onsen. Private bath was great. Also we liked bath with hot water on the balcony in a room. Good location in Arima.
I had a very pleasant stay in this hotel for 4 days. The hotel was better than expected. The room was large enough for luggage. Bed was cozy and clean. Air conditioning was quiet. The location was convenient - 10 mins walk to subway station via a bridge, and 10-15 mins to Shinsaibashi via subway. I’d recommend this hotel.
Location and the accommodations were very good, being next to a small shopping complex and rooms were of good size. On non-service days, rooms were at least replenished with amenities and the trash emptied. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast buffet, which was very mediocre at best. Breakfast selections lacked adequate meat dishes and did not vary in the 4 days we were there. It would have been an excellent stay otherwise.
Very convenient location right outside train station and walkable to Himeji Castle. My room faces the railway track where I can watch the bullet train comes and goes. Very helpful staff who filled out the Yamato luggage delivery form for us, even called my next hotel to confirm the details.
The hot springs are particularly good, the shampoo shower gel is of good quality, the hair dryer, the lotion lotion conditioner, are all available. Hygienic and comfortable, comfortable beds and comfortable air conditioning. The scenery is very open and beautiful. Free dandan noodles, white sesame, black sesame and taro flavor rotation are also provided at 9 o'clock in the evening. The craftsmanship is very good.

NnomadsenseiThe location is fantastic. Beautiful and well maintained hotel. However, after observing one of the staff members my first thought was 'MOTTAINAI”.
Because, the female foreign staff named Hou has exhibited a low level of behavior for this hotel. Her eyes looked unfriendly, because she never had a smile. In fact, she made a remark and criticism about my question. It became clear to me she is the unprofessional type who is not suitable for such a nice hotel.
Photos are from room #507 where carpets had noticeable stains.
GGuest UserThe room was spacious and very clean. The bed, shower, bathtub and other facilities were also clean and easy to use, so I was able to stay comfortably. Check-out is until 11:00, so I was able to relax on the day of departure. The temperature and humidity in the room were also fine, so I didn't feel cold or get a sore throat due to dryness even in winter. It's a very comfortable hotel close to the station.
GGuest UserLocation is great to the Rokkosan ropeway! Services are fantastic!! The dinners are superb!!!
The hotel and facilities are bit old but it’s great for its price. The onsen shower area requires more frequent cleaning however as there was hygiene issues spotted.
LLindsayThe ideal hotel experience… really I feel like a princess!
Everything is so nice and well thought out, even in the economy room, there are nightgowns and slippers and even a shoe shine kit, they even provide a 3-type charger in the room. The beds are perfectly comfortable. The bath is so deep and relaxing, and the shampoo and conditioner are really nice quality! There are even vending and ice machines on every floor, I recommend to pair a cold drink with your bath. The view looks onto the Flower Road and it’s very nice.
The breakfast is amazing, everything is delicious and very well thought out. The omelet cooked by hand and the cake of the day were the highlights, there is also a very nice salad bar. I recommend the rose hip tea to pair with your breakfast, it’s refreshing and doesn’t have too much sugar.
The hotel is also only 2 minutes walk from the Takarazuka Grand Stage, we were able to have a relaxing breakfast, leave our luggage in the lockers near reception, and then stroll over for the 11am performance.
MMike IgWe had an excellent stay at this hotel in Kobe. The location couldn’t be better — just a short walk from Sannomiya railway station, which made it extremely easy to explore the city and beyond.
Our room was beautifully decorated, with a comfortable dining area and a large, cozy bed. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully organized, which made the space feel very comfortable and welcoming.
The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was absolutely worth it — always fresh, delicious, and offering enough variety to enjoy something different each morning.
One especially fun touch was the free evening ice cream, which we really looked forward to each day. Overall, we had a fantastic experience here and would gladly stay again.
LLuoluoqiqiWe took an hour express bus from Osaka Station to Arima. We called the hotel front desk and a car came to pick us up in a while. The hotel is halfway up the mountain. Every staff member is very enthusiastic. When a young lady was preparing dinner in our room at night, I told her that the floor of the balcony was a little vibrating and noisy. I don’t know why. The young lady immediately reported the relevant colleagues. Another technician came to check the situation twice. After confirming that the noise disappeared and had no impact, he kept apologizing to us. The hotel’s open-air golden hot spring pool can be reserved. It costs 4400 yen for two people for 45 minutes. I was worried that 45 minutes would not be enough time. It turned out that I couldn’t hold on for 45 minutes and came out. I was so sleepy after the golden hot spring. Not long after dinner, I couldn’t lift my eyelids. I was so sleepy that I fell asleep before 10 o’clock. The dinner seemed to be small plates. My stomach was about to explode after eating. Although there were only three slices of Kobe beef, it felt better than the Kobe beef specialty restaurant I ate in Kobe City, which cost 30,000 yen per person. The breakfast the next morning was also very delicate and delicious. The only slight shortcoming might be that it was a little early, the latest one was 8:30 in the morning. Although this hotel is not as famous as some other hotels in the surrounding area, it is the most satisfying stop of my trip and I am very satisfied.
RRila_seestheworldRoom was HUGE and so new! View was wonderful and location so good too. Minutes from shopping and eateries. Highly recommended for families and anyone needing huge space. Price was so much more affordable too, considering hotels in Osaka will probably be double or more for a room so big.
DdrlimMy room are newly renovated; it has a toilet but without a shower in the room, but need to share the public shower or spa area. The location is a bit off from the main spa road with eateries.
GGuest UserThe selected 1.8 rice bed room, the area is OK in Japan.
The bed is too soft! ! ! Stayed for six nights, changing towels every day to collect garbage, although I think the bedding does not need to be changed to be more environmentally friendly, but there is still a reminder. And if you don't change the bedding, you should at least make the bed, although we would have laid the quilt.
Two people lived in two room cards, one day forgot to bring a card to make up one, when I checked out, I was charged 3,000 yen, and a repeated use of the room card was too expensive! I asked for a receipt, if I found it, I would like to say it again.
Small business hotel, but in addition to the above problems are very good, there is a 24-hour hot spring bath on the 2nd floor, the restaurant on the 9th floor has a good view of the scenery. Every night, the rooftop lounge chair on the top floor is also good.
