Absolutely amazing hotel! One of the best I have stayed. Excellent communication from hotel staff. Great shuttle service from airport to hotel, upon arrival staff were outstanding! Great reception staff and the manager was so helpful and kind. Porters were welcoming and assisted to the hotel room. I was so shocked when I entered the room at how beautiful the view was!! Room was huge and very clean! Definitely book a balcony sea view room! You will not be disappointed! The hotel has many things to do, relaxation by the beach and the happy hour is worth it! The breakfast has plenty of varieties including chocolate hour is so unique! Room service was prompt delivery and worth ordering with plenty of options to cater for families. This was the best resort to stay when visiting Phu Quoc! Definitely recommend! Will definitely return! Hotel deserves 5 stars!!!!
We had a very good stay at New World Phu Quoc Resort. The staffs are very helpful, I would like to thank especially Guest regulation supervisor Ms Tram, for helping us during our check out. The breakfast at the Bay Kitchen has good quality. We enjoyed the swimming pool as well. Definitely recommend.
In the southern part of the island, we opted for the landmark Hilton in Sunset Town, whose balconies offer an unparalleled view of the fireworks. Even if you're not a hotel guest, you can simply grab a drink at the bar to secure a balcony seat and capture stunning photos with the fireworks as your backdrop.
We celebrated our wedding anniversary with our kids, and the hotel thoughtfully provided a special dessert. We had dinner at the hotel's Western restaurant downstairs, which offered a wonderful ambiance and setting. Each room comes with a complimentary straw hat and bag (for use during your stay only), which are perfect for photos, especially by the infinity pool!
During your stay, complimentary tickets for the 'Kiss of the Sea' light show are provided. The show begins at 9 PM. If you sit close, be prepared to get wet, and the fireworks are incredibly close, exploding right overhead. It's truly breathtaking! However, just a heads-up, some ash might fall, so be mindful. There's no show on Tuesdays, but a 5-minute fireworks display still takes place from 9:30 PM to 9:35 PM.
Purchasing cable car tickets at the hotel grants unlimited rides throughout your stay. The cable car connects directly to Hon Thom Island, which is still under development. A row of Santorini-style buildings has been built, though they don't seem to be open yet. There's also an amusement park on the island, currently featuring just two attractions: a thrilling roller coaster 🎢 and an observation tower. Additionally, there's a fantastic water park, with the 'Sliding Dragon' slide being a particular highlight. Our kids absolutely adored it, and even after two consecutive days of fun, they still couldn't get enough! It's more thrilling than the VinWonders (formerly Vinpearl Land) in the northern part of the island. I'd recommend going to this one; you can skip the northern park entirely.
🚨 **A crucial note:** The amusement park closes at 4:30 PM and the cable car shuts down at 5 PM. So, if you plan to visit for just one day, it's best to start early. Also, note that the cable car takes a break from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Make sure to check the operating hours before planning your trip.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Best Resort Experience in Phu Quoc!
We had the most amazing 3-night stay at this beautiful resort on Phu Quoc Island—it truly exceeded our expectations in every way!
Service & Staff
From the moment we arrived at the airport, we were warmly welcomed by Lac, who went above and beyond to assist us. He helped with our hotel transport, showed us to our room, and explained how everything worked. His energy and cheerful personality were unforgettable—just a heads-up, you’ll need to walk fast to keep up with him! 😄
A big thank you also to Kim and the rest of the staff, who were all incredibly friendly and attentive. You all made our wedding anniversary stay so special and memorable.
The Room
Our room was massive with a breathtaking view. The design and decor were elegant and thoughtfully done. But the real highlight? The toilet! It was a high-tech, heated toilet with all the bells and whistles—automatic bidet, drying functions, and more. Just like the ones in Japan. It was such a fun and luxurious touch!
Location
The resort is in a perfect location—just a short walk to the Marina, night market, and several massage places. Right next door is the Sailing Boat Club, which adds a nice vibe to the area. Everything is within walking distance, making it super convenient to explore.
Beach & Pool
There’s a beautiful little beach right on the property, perfect for watching the sunset. It has comfy deck chairs and a cute swing for those Instagram-worthy photos. There’s even a small archery area for a bit of fun!
The swimming pool is huge and stunning, with plenty of deck chairs, so you never have to fight for one. The pool bar is a great bonus—you can order food and drinks while enjoying a swim. Pure relaxation!
Breakfast
Hands down, the best breakfast we’ve ever had at a resort. The variety was incredible—from a wide selection of tropical fruits like mangoes, guava, rambutan, and papaya to an impressive spread of pastries and hot dishes. Fresh juices were available, too, and everything was delicious. The staff at breakfast were just as helpful and kind as everywhere else in the resort.
We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you to everyone at the resort for making our stay so enjoyable and unforgettable. We’ll definitely be back!

1. **Location**: Located in the central part of Phu Quoc Island, it's approximately 10 kilometers from the airport. We arranged a 7-seater airport transfer through the hotel for 300,000 VND, which is about 80+ RMB. It's also about 20-30 kilometers away from Duong Dong town, the northern amusement parks, and the southern Sunset Town.
2. **Hotel Facilities**: Overall, it meets the standards of an entry-level five-star hotel. The rooms are clean, and all facilities and amenities are well-appointed. The swimming pool is also very clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The king-size rooms feature a 2-meter king bed and a sofa.
3. **Beach**: We visited at the end of August, during the rainy season, and were affected by a typhoon. It rained every day, with a mix of sunny and rainy spells. The waves in the sea were quite strong, making it unsuitable for swimming. The sand on Long Beach is yellowish, similar to Yalong Bay in Sanya, but it's still quite fine and considered clean.
4. **Hotel Surroundings**: Right opposite the hotel entrance is the Sonasea Night Market, offering numerous dining and shopping options. We highly recommend Sen Vietnam Restaurant, a Vietnamese eatery where both the pho and spring rolls are delicious. A meal for six people cost about 1,000,000 VND, which is approximately 300 RMB. There's also a Korean seafood restaurant called Mr. Seafood, which offers great taste and excellent value for money. For 3,720,000 VND (equivalent to 1,100 RMB), we had: two lobsters (total 1KG, one with garlic butter sauce, one cheese-baked), 1KG large tiger prawns (half stir-fried with garlic butter, half grilled with garlic butter), 1KG crab with Singapore sauce, 1KG stir-fried squid, and 1KG cheese-baked scallops. They also included two portions of fried rice, two vegetable dishes, two boxes of fruit, and two 1-liter cans of beer. This price was only half of what we'd pay in the south, so much so that after we moved to the southern part of the island, we took a taxi back just to eat there again!
5. **Transportation**: You can use Grab for taxis, or hail a taxi directly at the hotel entrance, where prices are clearly displayed. We hired a 7-seater car for most of the day for 900,000 VND, which is about 250 RMB. A one-way trip to the south cost around 200,000 VND.
If you are looking for top notch service, then I would recommend Sheraton. We recently had our family trip and stayed at sheraton. We really enjoyed it as they offered free shuttle buses to locations such as safari, grand world and airport. For kids, there's activities that keep them busy. We extremely enjoyed pizza making since the chef was extremely attentive and my kids had so much fun. The pizzas were also really good.
I had to praised their service as the workers there are extremely polite, attentive and responsive to our needs.
Breakfast selections constantly changed everyday so we really enjoyed the food there.
We also had dinner at daily social and the servers were so amazing and attentive. They were extremely polite and we really felt our needs were taken care of.
Although the hotel is a bit dated but we really enjoyed our stay there.
Would totally recommend to my friends and people that are looking for top notch service.
The location was further up in the north but the facilities is well maintained and abundance in space. This is what a resort should be like! Windy, spacious. Though, there could have been more beach/hotel activities. The complimentary airport pick up and safari tickets was a nice touch! We enjoyed the free shuttle around grand world, safari and Vinwonders.
Overall, our stay was enjoyable.
The villa was spacious and perfect for a family trip — clean and set in a beautiful environment.
However, there are a few things to note:
If you’re afraid of bugs, this may not be the best choice. We encountered quite a few bugs inside the villa, and I even stepped on millipedes twice during our 4-night stay. Unfortunately, while housekeeping tidied the room and changed towels, they didn’t clean the blood stains left behind.
The water pressure was quite weak throughout the stay.
Breakfast was great, with a good variety. But I did notice some hygiene issues — for example, a few guests picked bread with their hands instead of using the tongs provided, and there was no staff around to remind or guide them.
Front desk service needs improvement.
When we bought cable car tickets through the hotel, they had to take photos for the entrance process. However, the staff member didn’t give any signal or communication when the photo was taken, which caused confusion.
During checkout, it was raining. We had one suitcase, one hand-carry bag, and a plastic shopping bag. The staff placed our hand-carry bag directly on the wet ground, making the bottom dirty, while they put the plastic shopping bag on top of the suitcase — this seemed careless.
They also asked what our plans were after checkout (our flight was at night), and we mentioned we might try the hotel spa. But instead of assisting, the staff just told us we had already paid and could go pay directly at the spa. They didn’t give us any further information — no directions, opening hours, or what services were available. It gave us the impression that once you’ve checked out, they’re no longer interested in helping.
Tips for future guests:
• Bring extra swimsuits if you plan to swim multiple days. There’s no dryer or drying rack unless you pay for laundry, and sudden rain is common.
• The hotel offers some activities like kayaking and yoga, but these are often fully booked, so try to reserve early.
We choose the 2 bed rooms suite with large beds and balcony one of the room facing ocean with beautiful sunset. the view is super. The booking include 4 tickets of body massage and it’s per night ! The only recommendation iplease bring your body lotion as this is not supply by hotel .. other than that no complaint at all and for sure we will pick the same hotel of our next travel to Phu Quoc!
Overall rating will give 4 stars. We stayed for 4 days 3 nights. We noticed that the second day, there are still some area of the washroom unclean and one of the day the rubbish was left at the bathtub without removing it. This obviously need some improvement. The staffs most are friendly and helpful. Definitely we will still chose to stay here in the future trips.

AAnonymous UserWe were truly touched by how family-friendly this resort is!
Our villa was ideal for traveling with kids — besides the pool that the little ones absolutely loved, it was also equipped with a water dispenser, washing machine, and dishwasher — such helpful features for moms 🥰
Every staff member we met was kind and took wonderful care of us.
Since we had an early morning flight, the hotel thoughtfully prepared a variety of breakfast items for us to enjoy at the airport — such a considerate touch!
The hotel app was super efficient and convenient — booking activities, arranging transportation, and ordering food was all quick and easy.
Big thanks to Thien, the friendly poolside staff who looked after us so well for two days!
Our kids had so much fun every day — playing chess, pickleball, frisbee, archery, and of course, lots of swimming!
The fire dance show at the beachfront restaurant was also a highlight — entertaining and memorable.
We’re already looking forward to coming back again 💕
GGuest UserThe hotel is good for family vocation with a big swimming pool, childcare room, daily activities, bicycle rental, gym, karaoke & spa for all age groups
It is conveniently situated with a night market across the hotel. There's rows of massage shops and varieties of restaurants such as Vietnamese, Korean, Western & seafood. It took about 20 mins to Duong Dong, Central & about 40 mins towards Northern Phu Quoc. Also, it is suitable for a couple. We had an enjoyable wedding anniversary stay at BWP.

GGuest UserI would highly recommend Wyndham grand hotel. Location is very good near famous attractions, hotel is very big and clean. Staff is very helpful. Although during our stay is raining but hotel have kids room to play. My hubby and I went to do facial. Hotel have a huge slide and form party! It's so fun. Hotel provides free tutu car to beach too.We had a great time here. Especially thanks to hotel supervisor THINH, we had some issues with our stay, he managed to give us a solution. We cannot wait to go back again.
VVivien PunIt is a quite lovely experience during my stay. The app of Mövenpick is very user friendly for any information or boardcast, like cruise. The message replied so efficient. Chocolate hour is so sweet activity at 3:30-4:30pm everyday. It would be perfect if providing water or drink during the chocolate hour. The resort provides lots of activities everyday which can join freely. It is pity that the swimming pool is maintenance until 2 Oct. The elements of Spa is a relaxed and quiet environment with jacuzzi and sauna. The room service is good taste and wait around 30 minutes. If you choose Vila to stay, the hotel provide the free buggy to pick up or drop off in the area of hotel. After check out, we can stay at MLounge for the rest and wait for the free shuttle bus to the airport at the appointed time. In my conclusion, my family and I enjoyed the 3 days in the Mövenpick Villa.
AA Fish Called WandererExceptional from the moment we arrived, the experience was flawless. The staff were incredibly attentive—nothing was ever too much trouble. Every detail had been carefully thought out, from the beautifully appointed room that had everything we could possibly need, to the thoughtful messages from Madame Vermont that added such a personal touch.
Little extras, like the charming pepper gift, made us feel truly valued. The hotel itself is stunning, with its elegant French colonial style, and the environment was wonderfully peaceful. The private beach, immaculate pool area, and lush gardens created a perfectly relaxing escape.
Dining at Pepper Restaurant was a highlight—the food was absolutely fantastic and beautifully presented. This trip exceeded all expectations. We can’t wait to return!
JJune Yoon YiI visited here for the second time. Although the transportation is uncomfortable, I wanted to relax in a spacious villa in a quiet area. In particular, the staff were friendly, and they seem to be carefully selected, educated, and treated. In particular, the desk staff was friendly, and it was easy to communicate in English. (Many of the five-star hotels in Phu Quoc have difficulty in communicating with desk staff in English) This is not a fancy and noisy place. Rather, it is a place of quiet peace that is practical and classy. Everything is going accordingly. There are not many types of dishes at breakfast, but the quality is good. Both of the spa and restaurant service are cost-effective. The beach and pool are small but practical, cozy, elagant, and well managed. The resort buildings and interiors are also small and old, but I could feel the soul of the architect.
