137 Pillars House

Nawarat
My family could not have asked for a better experience. Toto (our butler) and Ann (the general manger) helped make our trip especially memorable. Our kids loved Toto and continue to tell his jokes. Ann keeps a keen eye on this property, always looking to improve. Only 30 rooms allows for a quaint and serene rest. The rooms are large and comfortable. Easy distance to the walled city. The 137 pillars staff ensure a seamless stay.

A fantastic hotel. I love the spacious and cosy room. The hotel gives out very similar vibes as The Raffles Hotel in Singapore. About 8-10 minutes walk from the Maya lifestyle mall. Buffet breakfast was fantastic too! There is a selection of western and Thai breakfast delicacies. Really love the stay here.

Maladee Rendezvous Hotel Chiang Mai

Night Bazaar Area
Lovely facility just steps from the heart of town. We had only one night there but wished we had booked it for the other. Staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to help us find activity in the countryside that we could undertake without participation in a group tour. Even went so far as to type up notes on a full page of paper with suggestions for activity as well as local coffee shops along the way in the countryside for us. Room was fantastic overlooking the pool with all amenities and even a pillow menu to choose from. Parking immediately below the hotel and simply a beautiful pool, hot tub, courtyard, and bar within the center of the hotel. The place has an interesting history and story stemming from the owner's family line. Again, great location for night market, restaurants, and access along the river. Great facility and great staff - highly recommended.
Sannot Riverside Boutique Hotel

Chiang Mai Riverside
I booked Sannuo's room on the last day before I left, so you can imagine how entangled I was in booking a room. I had finally chosen other hotels, and the bad reviews were very devastating. But Sannuo did not disappoint. First of all, in terms of service, Mr. Zhang is personally responsible for everything. My child has a serious allergy to dust mites and powder mites, and he kept asking Mr. Zhang for various requests before the trip. Mr. Zhang was very attentive and not impatient at all. We arrived at the hotel around 8 pm local time, and Mr. Zhang and the staff came out to greet us. At that moment, the strangeness and worry of bringing children alone in a foreign country were resolved. It is inevitable to encounter problems when you go out, and there is nothing to worry about if the hotel has such an attitude. Second, the noise. There are not many rooms in the hotel, and there is a large courtyard from the gate to the middle of the room. The use of space can be said to be very luxurious. This avoids many bad reviews reported by guests of other hotels in Chiang Mai, such as being too close to the road and too noisy. There are not many guests overall, and the interference from other guests inside is also limited, and it is very quiet after nightfall. Third, the public area of the hotel is very large, and the furnishings are neat, simple and of high quality. The room style is also in the same vein. Here I want to say that I think the photos on Ctrip are not as beautiful as the actual room. Mr. Zhang, even if we don't Photoshop, we should at least reflect the texture of the room truthfully. This time I stayed in two room types at Sanno, one is a garden view luxury bed with a super large green balcony. The other is a garden view suite. In addition to being simple and beautiful, many furnishings in the room are very attentive, such as the shelves and hanging rods in the bathroom, and the clothes drying racks on the balcony. These seemingly simple furnishings really solve many problems for guests. It is especially convenient to travel with children. Fourth, the hygiene details are in place. The room does not have the large carpets of traditional star-rated hotels, which is respiratory-friendly, and the material of the floor is particularly smooth and textured. There are no stains on the bedding. What is rare is that the fabric sofa couch is also very clean, which is difficult to do in many hotels I have stayed in. I can feel at ease the moment I open the room. I especially mention a detail. I saw that the cleaning staff planned to change their shoes when entering the room. This is something that many star-rated hotels cannot do. Details show quality. The hotel next door was also one of my top considerations before I left, but I gave up because of the strange room type (long and narrow room with little resting space in the room) and the price was twice that of Sannuo. Based on my experience this time, Sannuo is a hotel that I think is worth the money. The hotel can maintain such a standard, and the management and staff must have put in a lot of effort. It is a hotel that I will stay in again with my family.
Shangri-La Chiang Mai

Night Bazaar Area
We fully enjoy our stay at the Shangri-La Chiang Mai. Our room is spacious and well-equipped, with access to the Horizon Club Lounge. The lobby is grand and elegant. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Location is very good, close to the Kalare Night Bazaar. The Ping River is also within walking distance. Buffet breakfast at the Kad Café is delicious and full of varieties. The swimming pool is very big and surrounded by many trees. Overall, it’s a great hotel for a vacation.
The Chiang Mai Old Town

Chiang Mai Ancient City
Excellent two night stay in this adorable boutique hotel located inside the old city. Beds were very, very comfortable. We stayed in the heritage house jr suite and our teen daughters stayed in a deluxe king room. Both rooms were spacious and wonderful. The food (breakfast and dinner) was excellent!! The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and polite. I had an excellent foot massage at the spa. We also participated in two OUTSTANDING tours (Northern Highlights and Chiang Mai CityTemples). My only regret is we didn’t have time to enjoy the gorgeous pool. We would stay here again.

Chiang Mai Ancient City
Stayed for 4 nights and it is our repeated stay. Hotel was excellent and service was both friendly and attentive. It is just the right size hotel, unlike those big crowed and intimidating ones. It is in center of old city hence very convenient. The staffs were superb. Its manager Khun Prem and his team did everything possible to made our stay comfortable and welcoming. Highly recommend this hotel
Khum Wang Nuea Villa

What a stunning villa I’ve ever been🤩 I’ve booked two rooms with my family so we got a whole block of V.7👍🏻 Love all the glasses🌿🌳all the woods🪵 Love the vibes so so much that I don’t even want to leave the place❤️ The swimming pool is very chill too🏊🏻♀️ Must come back again and stay longer next time🫶🏻 Is a good place to relax and enjoy peace🥰 Although the location is quite far from main town, it a MUST to stay a villa like this in Chiangmai so that you can even more enjoy the culture🇹🇭 You can use the app ‘Grab’ to call the vehicle to send you to anywhere so it still can be convenient to stay tho🚕 Also the staffs were very nice and helpful🤗 When I was taking photos in the lobby and dinning area, they open all the lights for me to make sure I can get some beautiful pictures📸 Unfortunately I can’t upload all the photos here as the review only allows me to upload 20 pictures🥹 I have took so many photos of the villa and I want to share to all of you cause there were really really beautiful💖 They also have a massage room and gym room too✨ I have used the gym room🏋🏻♀️ but didn’t have time to enjoy the massage💆🏻♀️ I’m sure I will be more satisfied if I have tried the massage🤤 Therefore, I highly recommended all to select Khum Wang Nuea Villa for your accommodation in Chiangmai💯 I guarantee that you will not regret😊
Veranda High Resort Chiang Mai - MGallery
4.5/5380 Reviews
This is an old hotel, so the rooms are never dehumidified, the bedding and duvets are always damp, and there is an unpleasant musty smell when you enter the room. The staff is still friendly and good, but the breakfast selection is far below 5-star standards and tasteless. Most of the guests are Korean families and the pool is understaffed, making it embarrassing to ask for towels or other requests. It's time to let remove this hotel for my hotels list.
