We had a great stay at Dolphin Disney world resort.
The adults Had dinner at the Blue Zoo Todd’s English - the lobster bucatini and the salmon with white wine sauce and both were delicious ($140 with tip)! We had pineapple whip cocktail which was strong and well made.
The boys ate at The Fountain and had burger and chips ($50)
We added a roll away bed for $36 and late check out for the same price.
Really nice facilities but we did not have the time to enjoy them all.
We had a room on the 8th floor with views of the firework show at Magic Kingdom at 9pm.
We got a water taxi to Hollywood studios and also took a nice stroll around the boardwalk which had shops and other things to check out!
Despite being under construction and renovations, everything was very well arranged for the comfort of the guests! Restaurant GRILL's food was wonderful, high level of quality, presentation and service.
Friendly and incredibly kind staff. Food choices were excellent. Proximity to the beach is unbeatable! The pools were beautiful. I would suggest more serving staff around the pool. It took quite a while to order something.
Ocean Walk Resort located on a beautiful stretch of pedestrian-only beach and a part of the 80000 square-foot Ocean Walk Village complex is like two vacations in one. Its a beachside retreat but also adjacent to the most popular entertainment choices and activities Daytona has to offer. At Club Wyndham Ocean Walk the spacious 1- and 2-bedroom vacation suites comfortably sleep 2 to 8 guests with ample living and dining space. Limited Studio units are also offered which have 2 double beds.
Legoland is the best place to stay, and the internet is very good. Living beach room, a little distance from the park, the hotel has a car to the park. American hotels consistently don't provide toothbrushes, toothpaste and combs, just like this one. Family room, one large bed, one high and low bed. After staying for 2 nights, no one cleaned up the room the next day. I do n’t know if it was leaked or I did n’t think it ’d be too expensive. The deposit for entering the store is US $ 50 / night, and the dual currency card arrives slowly.
The hotel is really very very beautiful, clean and comfortable.
Because the hurricane had just passed when we went there, we were not allowed to go to the swimming pool and the beach, but the hotel upgraded us for free. I forgot whether it was the 7th or 9th floor. Anyway, this is the only hotel where I can see the sunrise in the east and the sunset in the west from the room.
The service attitude of the waiter is also super good.
The only thing I am not satisfied with is that I didn’t know that I would be charged for Internet access in advance, and finally I was charged 7.89 US dollars for Internet access.
I had dinner at the hotel, and it tasted very good.

The bar areas were very small. The bartender at the outdoor tiki bar was extremely loud and vulgar, possibly drunk himself.
Talked to concierge twice, and the two men working there were so confused and unable to assist in a confident and knowledgeable manner to the very simple questions asked.
Very little staff assisting in serving guests.
The restaurant in the hotel was good but not great, but the prices were outrageous compared to the quality of the food. And the wait staff was very lacking and not enjoyable.
And for the amount of money you pay for a room, not having breakfast included is absurd.
Ordered room service dining and someone brought it up the two meals with their hands rather than on a dining cart and had to fish out utensils and condiments from their pockets. I find this to be unprofessional for this level of quality and service.
While overall it was a nice resort, I’m not sure the price tag matches the quality this resort claims to advertise.

The service is average, the facilities are good, and the service attitude at the front desk is very bad. Very impatient. Ask the front desk hotel what content, let us see for ourselves. The hotel's environmental protection concept is very good, but I hope the service can also keep up.

Really loved this hotel and would stay again but probably try the All Stars Movies next time. The hotel offers free shuttle to all the parks but during peak hours can be quite packed. It is a family resort so felt safe within the premises. The food court offers reasonably priced & tasty food and closes quite late at 11 pm. Wished there were more fountains to refill water bottles. There is also guest laundry which was very easy to pay to use.

Very Good
MMama CheetahWe ended up at the Daytona Grande after the Hilton Oceanfront overbooked and we were on our way with no place to stay! Admittedly not the safest, but I had to book this place while driving from the Orlando airport and just looking for something that wasn’t a total dive but still decently priced without a ton of extra fees. No free breakfast here which is something I especially appreciate as a family of 6, but in this case it was just me and my teenage son in town for an archery championship. After the highly stressful day of travel we had, the Grande was like a little slice of Heaven! It was clean, quiet, and beautiful. We decided after having to skip lunch with flight delays and all that, we just wanted a good meal and a good bed and we got exactly that. My son and I split truffle fries to start, the crusted crab filet, and beignets for dessert. All were wonderful (and we’re from Dallas where there is no shortage of excellent food) and enjoyed Oceanside on the dimly lit quiet patio. My only criticism is that the tables should be turned perpendicularly to the ocean and hotel so that everyone at the table gets a view of both rather than one facing a wall while the other faces the ocean.
Rooms were nicely decorated, had comfortable, intuitive lighting, handy USB plugs, and most importantly REALLY COMFORTABLE BEDS! We have a Tempurpedic at home so my sleep is usually pretty abysmal at hotels. Now, this wasn’t as comfy as home, but I slept hard and woke without being sore since the bed was genuinely comfortable.
My only complaints about the room were that the window sheers, while stylish, really gave no privacy at all, so if you wanted privacy you had to sacrifice light. Water pressure wasn’t great and the bathroom needed more towel bars and hooks. This would’ve been way more of a nuisance with the whole family, but they also came midday and restocked towels and made up the beds, which we see less and less of these days, even at nice hotels in the name of being “green”. But it was spacious and clean and otherwise nicely equipped.
Elevators were fast and never held us up. Beach access from the elevator was nice as we didn’t have to walk through the lobby in swimsuits. Parking was slightly inconvenient being caddy corner across the street, but not bad at all. We considered but didn’t try room service mainly due to price and unknown wait (when we had tournament times to consider) but the little shop/cafe in the lobby was great and convenient and priced about as you’d expect (pricey, but not too ridiculous). We got coffee and breakfast sandwiches both days.
I think the biggest issue with this place is the visibility. It’s tall to be sure so you’re not going to miss it, but the entrance and signage is on the far side and behind a little aqua building (I think called Sand Dunes) which had to be apartments or a teeny hotel that I can only assume refused to sell to the Grande in development so the Grande built around it. It keeps it from having the opulent entrance that the Hilton does
JJeremiah ByrdNice hotel very clean. The outside was very dark at night. The bed was extra firm to hard for me made me and my wife sore. The shower was nice but didn't have a door or anything just one half covered with a piece of glass we didn't like it very cold while trying to shower.
GGuest UserThe Hotel is located right on the beach. Check in was nice experience - Marcus has not just a killer haircut but great customer service skills- even though check in was at 6pm ( unusual late ) we got our room around 3pm. There is no breakfast and no everyday room service but the location and room itself made up for it
They have many bad reviews which was little scary but I think they are from before the renovation - our room was gulf side - 4414 and was freshly renovated
The beach is awesome - long, wide and clean - dog friendly ( the hotel is also dog friendly )
Nice bar with some food and drinks downstairs - during our stay the beer was $2 ! Food was limited but good, fresh and inexpensive
Overall great experience and affordable- we stayed few days over the new year 2022
GGuest UserThe lady who helped us at the service desk was rude and very unhelpful. We had drove all the way from Dallas to Orlando with a uhaul we booked 2 nights but couldn't make the first one as we were still on route. She didn't want to give us our room and said that the reservation was canceled because we no showed for our booking. Long story short we had to get the manager who was nice enough to help us and gave us our room.
GGuest UserThe unit was beautiful but it needs a little bit of maintenance. Little things to fix to make it perfect. Iron board but no iron dish liquid but no sponge patio seat plastic and broken . The patio door verticals missing slabs . No window treatments to avoid bright light in the morning. Is these are fix it would be nice
HHaiyanmianhuatangThe hotel provides express tickets to Universal Studios, which can be used for 2 days if you stay one night, so the overall cost performance is actually very good. There is a water bus to Universal Studios.
There is a Starbucks downstairs for breakfast. Hahaha, the breakfast is rich and varied, but there is no need to order breakfast included.
GGuest UserWe wanted to spend a few days in the St Augustine area. This was perfect. It had its own beach. Super friendly staff. Nice breakfast in the morning. Chairs and umbrellas you could rent for the beach. Very convenient. I would stay here again. Thank you!
HHuadaqianIt's not easy to find a hotel on Ocean Drive with a balcony where you can watch the sunrise while lying in bed. And this room type is not even available on the hotel's official website!
Although the hotel facilities are not the newest, I think the location is really great.
The front desk staff was very warm and friendly, making our birthday trip full of surprises and joy.
