Highly recommend! The hotel's location is superb, with the room window directly facing the side of Potala Palace. You can virtually 'check in' at the attraction right from your room. The restaurant is even better, with huge windows offering unobstructed views, perfect for a lovely breakfast and a scenic dinner. The fridge has complimentary drinks. Jokhang Temple is just a few minutes' walk away, and Potala Palace isn't far to walk either. Grabbing a rickshaw is incredibly convenient. No wonder it's a popular 'influencer hotel' – once you've been, you'll never forget it…

Right next to the Great Mosque of Tibet, it's a very typical Tibetan-style building. Step out 50 meters, and in the evening, there's a great Muslim night market with amazing grilled meat. Although the rooms aren't brand new, they have oxygen concentrators, hot water, and air conditioning – everything you need. If I come back to Tibet, I'll definitely stay here again.

My trip to Lhasa this time was spent entirely at this hotel, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. I genuinely recommend it to anyone visiting Tibet. The hotel's location is its biggest highlight; it's incredibly close to Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple, allowing you to walk directly to all the main attractions. This means no need to wake up early to rush for transport, saving both time and hassle. In the evening, it's especially convenient to take a stroll and see the Potala Palace at night. You don't have to travel far, and you can easily capture stunning twilight photos. For tourists wanting to explore the old city in depth, the location is absolutely perfect. The hotel's overall environment is quiet and comfortable. The rooms are spotless, with floors, bathrooms, and even the edges of tables meticulously cleaned. The bedding is clean and odor-free, showing that basic hygiene is handled exceptionally well. The rooms are equipped with oxygen machines and humidifiers, a double boost perfectly suited for the dry and high-altitude environment. I didn't experience chest tightness or dry mouth at night, allowing me to fall asleep peacefully and completely alleviate the discomfort of altitude sickness. Even first-time visitors to Tibet can get a good, restful night's sleep here. What truly impressed me was the warm service from everyone. From the security guard at the entrance to the front desk staff handling check-in, and even the aunties and uncles in the breakfast restaurant, every single staff member was warm and gentle. They patiently and thoroughly answered any questions, treated guests with genuine sincerity, and showed thoughtful care at every turn. The check-in process at the front desk was efficient and quick, and the breakfast selection was abundant. Staff would proactively refill dishes, demonstrating their attentiveness to detail. My entire stay was comfortable and worry-free. The location, cleanliness, facilities, and service were all top-notch – absolutely no disappointments. If I visit Lhasa again, this hotel will definitely be my first choice. I also recommend it to any friends planning a trip to Lhasa; it's truly a reliable place to stay.

The overall ambiance and oxygen-enriched room experience at The St. Regis Lhasa were impeccable. What truly impressed me the most was our butler, Pubu Cering Justin, who was incredibly responsive to all our requests. Upon arrival, I experienced mild altitude sickness. After contacting him, oxygen and warm ginger tea were delivered almost immediately, with no waiting time at all. When I wanted to book a ******* costume photoshoot and plan my Potala Palace itinerary, he had everything arranged promptly after I explained my needs. Even when I returned to the hotel late and wanted a hot drink and some extra fruit, they were delivered to my room right after I made the request. He is efficient and professional, never delaying any requests. He perfectly balances professionalism with the warm and thoughtful service typical of a ******* host. Everything was handled promptly and perfectly, making my entire stay incredibly reassuring and comfortable. I'll definitely be looking for Justin again on my next visit!

I stayed at the hotel for two nights. There was no breakfast, but upon entering, saffron tea was offered. We got a free upgrade to a one-bedroom suite with two large, comfortable beds. When a room became available in the middle of the night, they also provided us with an oxygen concentrator, which allowed us to sleep with the door closed. The service was excellent, and the price was very reasonable.

If you're prone to altitude sickness, don't choose this hotel. The diffuse oxygen supply only lasts about an hour, so you have to turn it on manually. I woke up several times during the night, and the oxygen supply stopped working by 7 AM. Nasal inhalation is also an extra charge. The air conditioning system only heats, not cools, making the room extremely stuffy. I was extremely disappointed with this hotel, which is known as Hilton, and I would never choose it again.

Our family of three was absolutely delighted with the triple room! It was incredibly spacious – we could spread out all three large suitcases and still have plenty of room to move around. The best part was the fantastic natural light; the big windows made the whole room bright and airy, instantly lifting our spirits. The humidifier in the room was a lifesaver at this altitude; we slept soundly without any dryness. The electric kettle heated water quickly, and we really appreciated the thoughtful touch of six complimentary bottles of mineral water! The mini-fridge was also very convenient for keeping our fruits and yogurt chilled. What truly amazed us was the hand-painted ceiling – auspicious Eight Buddhist Symbols, personally painted by a ******* artist. The colors were vibrant and brought a sense of good fortune. Waking up every day to such beautiful art made us feel incredibly blessed. These details really show how much care the hotel puts into its guests, balancing modern comfort with an authentic ******* cultural atmosphere. We had such a comfortable stay and highly recommend it to families traveling together!

Five stars is a must! This 5-star hotel is truly full of surprises! The lobby is filled with rich ******* style, with various ******* incense sticks neatly displayed and Thangka paintings creating a wonderful atmosphere. The lobby also features a complimentary tea break area, offering nourishing hot tea, bread, pastries, candies, and dried fruits all day long. It's a clean and thoughtful place to stop and recharge while traveling. A special mention goes to the smart delivery robot! It's simple and responsive, delivering takeout and small items directly to your room. You can even ask it to pick up snacks, saving you the hassle of running around. The combination of traditional ambiance and smart service makes for a fantastic experience! The staff are gentle and attentive, and the rooms are clean and quiet. This is the top choice for travelers in this area – highly recommended!

We recently stay at Lhasa Fanlian hotel. The room was so clean, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was well-stocked and functional. However, it was a bit small for twin sharing room. The butler was so friendly & helpful. He was very patient explaining the apparatus in the room & adjusted everything for us. I like the hotel architecture & amenities very much. They do provide hi-tea & supper for free, and the breakfast has a lot of variety & fruits were very fresh. I will highly recommend it to my friends & relatives if they come for holidays in Lhasa in near future.

It's a cute little traditional ******* style hotel that is just a stone throw from Barkhor Street and Jokhang Temple. The hotel doesn't provide breakfast but has an Indian restaurant downstairs. You can also find plenty of food along the Barkhor Street which is like 2 mins walk away. Potala Palace is also relatively near about 2km away. The hotel also has cute kittens running around.

GGuest UserI stayed at this hotel from June 5-7 2026. The official check in time is listed at 2 pm. They did not give me access to my room until after 4 pm. Furthermore, laundry is listed as included service and they said their facility was not working and had to send it somewhere else. They charged me a hefty fee. I believe it’s a misnomer for this hotel to call themselves “international” This hotel really only caters to Chinese speaking populations, which is fine and the typical situation in Lhasa, but to be more accurate, the hotel shouldn’t make the claim “international.” That would typically imply better more comprehensive services for people outside of one population and nationality. This hotel is listed as 5 stars in Lhasa. I have traveled to many countries and stayed in many 5 star hotels. According to my experience, this hotel doesn’t measure up to a 5 star standard. Perhaps it did in the past. 5 star hotels typically have much better restaurants and dining options. The room was clean and I had a nice view.

XXiaojingerdegushiMany people, myself included, often debate between the St. Regis and the Shangri-La, as both hotels in Beijing are quite unremarkable. Ultimately, I chose the Shangri-La for its value for money. I had considered Songtsam too, but common sense told me to be a smart spender. Although the hotel shows its age, its architectural style is grand and refined, revealing luxurious material choices. Time has inevitably left its mark, but a classic car, even when old, is still a classic car. Moreover, service and quality require time to accumulate and withstand market scrutiny. While the Shangri-La may not have many existing locations, it still holds a strong market advantage, and it takes an discerning eye to appreciate it. My butler, Bowen, arranged my room before I even arrived. Looking out the window at the Potala Palace's silhouette in the distance immediately set the mood. He then meticulously delivered on all aspects of my package. I found Bowen to be a man of few words but very steady, highly responsive, and an exceptionally smooth driver. He never asked inappropriate or subjective questions, which I truly appreciated. Over three days, Bowen's accompaniment added a unique dimension to my Lhasa itinerary. Among the few Tibetans I've encountered, he was a definite plus. I sincerely wish him all the best in his work! The Shangri-La in Lhasa lives up to its brand's standards and enhances the reputation of its sister properties. I'm so glad I made the right choice; this will be a memorable and wonderful travel experience.

AAnonymous UserThe location of Songtsam is absolutely stunning, truly legendary. It directly occupies the prime viewing spot of Basongcuo Lake. The environment is serene and relaxing; I felt instantly refreshed upon entering. Every corner of the hotel is a picturesque scene. Whether you're in the restaurant, bar, or any public area, you can easily snap some fantastic photos, as the lake and mountain views are seamlessly integrated into every space. ✨ Service Experience Our butler proactively contacted us before arrival, and upon reaching the hotel, we were greeted with a warm highland barley wine welcome ceremony – a truly immersive experience. There's no elevator, so staff frequently deliver items back and forth, but they consistently do so with warmth and efficiency, their attitude is superb. My only minor regret: the underfloor heating in the room wasn't very effective, making the highland nights a bit chilly. I hope they optimize this in the future. Oh, and the room also had a coffee machine and incredibly delicious fruit! 🌿 Scenery & Activities The hotel's viewing platform offers unparalleled vistas, even more breathtaking than the 'Forgotten Corner' mentioned in travel guides – and it's easily accessible with a stroll along the river! If you rely on the viewing platform at the hotel for the 'Forgotten Corner', it truly might feel forgotten. Highly Recommended: • Cycling along Basongcuo Lake: A dozen kilometers of lake views, a truly therapeutic journey. • Cuogao Village: An authentic ******* village where the lake at the entrance is as blue as the ocean. A perfect blend of culture and nature! • Xinzuo Lake Hike: Easy and pleasant, with forests, meadows, rivers, and lakes all along the way – it feels like paradise on earth! Strongly recommend horseback riding here. The horses are very gentle, saving both effort and time! (Bring some chocolate for the horsemen to refuel; they'll happily take a few photos for you!🥳) ⚠️ Not recommended: All-terrain vehicle (ATV) riding. The roads are rough, and the experience is mediocre! 🛍️ Retail Shops The hotel has an Arc'teryx specialty store where you can even rent clothes with points, which is great for photography enthusiasts. The large artisan craft store offers quality products, and the local high-end yak cashmere brand Norlha is worth browsing. Aside from the higher price point, the quality and design are impeccable. There's currently some construction around the hotel, which might slightly delay entry, but it doesn't affect the overall experience at all. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied. This is my top choice in Basongcuo, and I will definitely return! Finally, special thanks again to our butler, Dingzhu. Tashi Delek!

GGuest UserService: The service was excellent. I requested a very quiet room because my elderly relatives are light sleepers and have very high standards for their accommodations. Both the manager and the front desk staff went out of their way to meet our needs, which we greatly appreciated. Oxygen Supply: The oxygen supply is medical-grade, and it felt very effective. My elderly relatives all reported sleeping very well at night. Plus, each room was provided with a large pot of rhodiola rosea tea, which we could even take with us to Yamdrok Lake – a very thoughtful touch. Room: The room was quite comfortable and relatively quiet. The breakfast was incredibly rich and varied. The architecture of the building is unique, and the garden is exceptionally beautiful. Next time I come to Lhasa, I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to my friends.

YYouzhaxiantangyuan🌟 Five-star full score, highly recommended! 🌟 This is the most pleasant stay experience on our 318 Sichuan-Tibet line self-driving. Xixuan Hotel (Bomi Store) conquered us with details. It is definitely the first choice for Bomi accommodation! 🍳 Breakfast: Taste Feast at the Snow Mountain Restaurant on the Top Floor The breakfast experience is the best! The panoramic restaurant on the top floor has an invincible view. While tasting food, you can enjoy the magnificent scenery of the Palon Zangbu River and Gangri Gabu Snow Mountain. The meals are rich and varied, and the combination of Chinese and Western styles also incorporates Tibetan characteristics. The freshly cooked beef noodle soup is delicious, the handmade buns are soft and delicious, and there are Tibetan-style small points such as butter tea and wontons to try. The freshness of the ingredients is full, the master who is now doing the stall is superb, the fried egg rolls are golden and attractive, the fruit is cut and exquisite, and there are more than ten choices for drinks. The breakfast period service is intimate, the closing is timely, there is no crowded and noisy feeling at all, and it depends on it for a full day! 👩💼 Front desk: Intimate and thoughtful butler service Must give the front desk team a big praise! At the time of check-in, the front desk lady not only enthusiastically took the initiative, but also helped us open the room floor heating in advance, so that we felt the warmth as soon as we entered the door (know that the temperature difference between Bomi morning and evening is very large). Knowing that we are on our honeymoon, we also took the initiative to upgrade the river view bed room for free, and sent welcome fruits and Tibetan gifts, which were full of surprises. Check-in and check-out procedures are efficient and fast, smiling throughout the whole process, patiently answering our various questions about Bomi attractions and road conditions, and also intimately helping us plan the self-driving route. Even the security guard in the parking lot is very enthusiastic, and he takes the initiative to help us direct the reverse, and the service details are everywhere. 🏔️ Landscape: The 318 National Road Treasure Hotel that is painted by pushing the window The hotel is in a great location, next to the 318 National Road, backed by the Gang Rigabu Snow Mountain, and the Palong Zangbu River in front of the door, really did ”pushing the window and painting”. The river view room we live in, the huge floor-to-ceiling windows will have a panoramic view of the snow-capped mountains, rivers, the Jingyu and the Qingputian in the distance. In the morning, you can see the magnificent view of Rizhao Jinshan. There is also a helicopter check-in point on the top floor. Friends who like to take pictures must not miss this filming holy place. In the evening, I walked in the hotel courtyard, the breeze passed, listened to the sound of the river, watched the color of the snow-capped mountains in the sunset, and the fatigue of the journey disappeared instantly. This is what Tibetan travel should look like! ✨ Other bonus items The rooms are clean and tidy, the facilities are brand new, the intelligent customer control system is convenient to operate, the bedding is comfortable, and the sound insulation effect is excellent, so that we sleep well every night. The hotel parking lot is spacious, self-driving parking is super convenient, and free car washing service is also provided. The public area is modern and simple in design, incorporating Tibetan elements, and taking pictures and punching in is also very popular. In short, the Xixuan Hotel (Bomi Store) has drawn a perfect end to our trip to Bomi with a delicious breakfast, intimate service and beautiful scenery. If we come to Bomi again, we will definitely choose here and recommend it to all friends who plan to come to 318 self-driving!

GGuest UserThe view outside the window is absolutely stunning! Lying on the bed, you can see the snow-capped mountains in the distance. When the sun shines on the mountains, the whole room is dyed golden, which is breathtakingly beautiful. The ******* breakfast at the homestay is also very unique. The butter tea is rich and mellow, and the barley cakes are chewy, which starts a day full of energy. Next time I come to Tibet, I will stay here again!

The reception staff were different on both occasions, but their attitude towards me was the same – they were all very pretty and gentle. The young ladies were all very pretty. I mentioned it was dry, and they even gave me two extra bottles of water, which was very thoughtful. The security guard also helped me park; I just gave him the key and didn't have to worry about anything. Overall, I had a wonderful experience. Thank you so much everyone!
