The service and breakfast were both good. I even forgot something, and the hotel called to thank me for it. However, the strange thing about this hotel is that the air conditioning only turns on at 6 PM. I came back from Maiji Mountain in the afternoon and was really cold, wanting to rest in the room. But I ended up having to wear my down jacket indoors. Air conditioning only starting at 6 PM? This is the first time I've encountered something like this in all my years of traveling!

The hotel is situated on the north bank of the Yellow River, offering stunning views. My room overlooked the Yellow River, Bailashan Park, and Zhongshan Bridge, providing an unobstructed panoramic vista. Whether it was the majestic mountains and river during the day or the dazzling lights at night, it felt like a living painting. Stepping downstairs, I could stroll along the Yellow River Scenic Route, experiencing the unique charm of Jincheng Lanzhou. The location is truly impeccable. The Hyatt Regency Lanzhou was more than just a place to stay; it became an integral part of my wonderful memories during this trip to Lanzhou. It perfectly blended breathtaking scenery, top-notch facilities, and warm hospitality. If I visit Lanzhou again, this will undoubtedly be my only choice. Comfortable room, a good size with blackout curtains. The hotel is an easy walking distance from the train station no matter how much luggage you have. Free laundry facilities. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, happy to answer questions and assist with bookings and locating various services around town. The only negative is breakfast. Both days I was there one or more of the bread products were stale. Paper cups are provided for cold drinks (which seems needlessly wasteful) the one morning I tried, the orange juice was flavorless and watered down- it tasted like when you refill a juice bottle with water. The shape of the seating area is also unfortunate. There are two corners where people seem to appear out of nowhere and both days I encountered numerous children running and who absolutely should not have been allowed to bring their scooters in to the breakfast area (not the mobility kind) making carrying hot drinks and plates of food dangerous and unpleasant. Definitely recommended, just skip breakfast!

The hotel looks really nice and will look great on anybody’s instagram. However, I had a room on the first (ground) floor and these should be avoided by anybody caring about privacy. One of the windows opened on the courtyard and the other opened on an alley, at street level. Anybody walking by inside or outside had a direct view inside the room.

Quite an amazing experience! I was genuinely impressed the moment I walked into the hotel; the decor is incredibly charming and aesthetically pleasing. The restaurant also has its own unique character, and there are so many activities available within the hotel. It's truly fantastic! The staff are all very enthusiastic. If I ever get the chance to visit Dunhuang again, I'll definitely stay here.

Very nice and clean hotel You can easily find nice restaurants for lunch and dinner right next to it. The hotel itself have super nice breakfast buffet and lots of free snacks and drinks in the lobby It's not so far from airport and only 500m from railway station 👍 It was a perfect stay for us👍👍

The bright lobby and warm and thoughtful front desk immediately give you a feeling of being at home, and the fatigue of driving for hundreds of kilometers. The front desk clerk is professional and standardized. The corridors of the rooms are wide, the carpets are clean and refreshing, the room layout is novel, the functional areas are clear, and the lighting layout is thoughtful. Self-driving parking is convenient, the ground and basement can be satisfied. Breakfast is good, super general hotel of this class, guests who are eager to hurry can receive ”breakfast package”, the service is very thoughtful. The whole hotel has a strong cultural atmosphere and a petty bourgeoisie. Whether it is a business trip or a rest, it is a good choice of accommodation.

I've been to Gansu several times and stayed in nearly 20 different hotels, across various price points. This one is, without a doubt, the most satisfying experience I've had in the province. The lobby and guest room design are very modern for the area, with solid materials and excellent aesthetics. Every staff member I encountered, from the front desk to the restaurant to housekeeping, was attentive and very friendly. The front desk staff were efficient during check-in and even remembered a casual request I made. They also offered many daily necessities for guests, a small but thoughtful touch. The room was cleaned promptly and thoroughly. The bottled water was delicious, and the linens were excellent. I arrived for breakfast quite early the next day. There was a host at the entrance guiding guests, and after being seated, the cutlery was meticulously arranged. Every chef at the live cooking stations greeted us enthusiastically. Tableware was cleared promptly, and even though it was early, everyone looked energetic and cheerful, radiating positive energy to the guests. The breakfast selection was incredibly rich! From Chinese to Western, everything you could want was there, and the presentation was thoughtful. Most items were made-to-order and tasted great. Unlike many star-rated hotels nowadays that rely heavily on pre-made items, making it hard to discern the team's skill, this place was superb. Overall, many hotels are willing to spend money on materials, but it's rare to find one with such excellent management and service. I hope the hotel and its team continue to improve. I believe it's already undeniably the best in Zhangye, and I hope it strives to become the best in Hexi!

This is my second stay at this hotel. I came straight here from the train station, and the Mercure's location is excellent. The hotel's facilities and services are superb – I absolutely love it! The rooms are spacious, bright, and spotlessly clean, and the breakfast was also fantastic. I'll definitely choose Mercure again next time. While here, I met guests from Shanghai, Guangdong, Northeast China, and even Japan. As a visitor from Sichuan, it felt like a homecoming, especially since Tianshui was part of the Shu Kingdom during the Three Kingdoms period!

The room was nice, modern and clean. Staffs are helpful and have good service-mind. Location is great, right next to the drum tower. There are a lot of shops nearby, a food street is in walking distance, the Big Buddha Temple (Dafosi) is also walkable. There is also a free coffee machine at the lobby. Breakfast was also good. A little down side, the shower area has a lot of small flies, which we don’t know where they came from, but didn’t cause much annoyances. Despite some downsides above, we will stay at to this hotel again if we come back to Zhangye.
