Thank you for such a lovely stay. The room was clean and comfortable, with an amazing view. The tea provided was delicious, and the showers had consistently good hot water, which was appreciated. The food was excellent and everyone was friendly and helpful, including assisting me with arranging food delivery. A thank you to the cleaning staff as well for checking in and making sure everything was in order during my stay. I also received a beautiful little gift on departure, which was a thoughtful touch. This has been one of my best experiences and a really enjoyable stay. I will definitely be back. Thank you again.

The location of the hotel is perfect, only 10 minutes away walking distance (with an infant) from Terminal 1, making it super convenient for us. We loved the renovation of the hotel and the beautiful view from the open garden. Our room is very spacious, making it a wonderful place for my baby to walk and crawl around to burn some energy before our flight. I really liked the mini toiletries provided the hotel - the smell reminds me of lavender farm I visited in Australia. The bed was very comfortable to sleep on too! Unfortunately we couldn’t sleep overnight due to our departure time! I paid extra for buffet dinner. Not cheap but worth the money. You can find a big range of food options. I would have loved it if I was a big seafood fan as the seafood session was impressive! However I did enjoy the other food, including sushi, Chinese dishes and the icecream! Overall my baby and I had a great time staying in the hotel, and we would happily recommend it to our family and friends!

The service was excellent! Every staff member was so warm and polite. They even offered a complimentary shuttle service to Changpinggou Service Center. The room's cleanliness and facilities were also great. Since it was off-season and not too busy, the front desk even upgraded our room for free. The guesthouse's own small kitchen served delicious food too. After a long day, we enjoyed some stir-fried dishes right there, and their special blended drinks were really good!

The Grand Hyatt Chengdu, located in the bustling heart of Chunxi Road, manages to be a tranquil haven amidst the urban buzz. Its overall design is sophisticated and grand, with wooden elements and lighting perfectly complementing each other. While there are indeed many mirrors, you get used to them after a short stay. Having followed Ji's design and aesthetic from the Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou to the Grand Hyatt Chengdu, I can confidently say his vision remains as impressive as ever. The guest room layout is fluid, with clearly defined and practical divisions for the living room, bedroom, and bathroom. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer a direct view of Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li, providing abundant natural light during the day and a spectacular panoramic view of the city's vibrant nightscape. The soundproofing and blackout curtains are also excellent. Although the hotel has been open for several years and shows slight signs of age, it is well-maintained, and the service is both professional and efficient. (On a side note, the Hyatt promotion in April was an absolute delight!!!) This time, I also experienced the complimentary 'New Wave Travel Photography' service offered by the hotel. The staff was incredibly efficient, and the depth of field and composition of the shots perfectly matched my preferences. The final photos exceeded my expectations, making for an overall superb experience.

The hotel is very luxurious and has good attention to detail. Although the room we were in had an amazing view and luxurious feel, some dirt and stains and a few cracks in the furniture takes away the full 5 star wow factor, although it is a great room. Also the hairdryer is very very old and overheats within minutes, you need to pull it out, wait, then try again. Also the AC is not stable, at times we needed to turn it down as low as 10 to actually feel cool as the room is very hot and humid. The staff in general were very warm and accommodating and provided extra water for the room when we called them. However as we wanted to have a little rest in the morning we called to ask if the cleaner could come asap to only change trash and stock up the toilet roll etc, we were informed that there was only one cleaning lady and would need to wait. I find this quite questionable for a hotel that big. The breakfast buffet is good with lots of choice. Pastries, cakes, local specialties, western dishes a plenty. However the coffee machine is weak and only provides espresso and americano, the hotel should upgrade the machine to accommodate those with tastes like lattes and cappuccinos as this is the norm in even 4 star hotels. The robot butler is a great touch.The location is actually very very good. Shopping malls and restaurants are very very close. Overall I would stay here again but the price needs to match the interior.

For our second night in Chengdu, we unexpectedly booked the Lin'en International Hotel, and wow! The hotel is grand and impressive, and the location is superb, being very close to Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li – just a ten-minute walk. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, and they even offer thoughtful complimentary afternoon tea and laundry service. The breakfast spread is also abundant, keeping both kids and adults well-fed. The room was spacious and quiet, making for a very comfortable stay. When we checked out, we even received a small gift from the lobby manager – such a thoughtful touch! Highly recommend staying here!

This hotel is clean, spacious, and well-lit, with very convenient facilities. Rooms come with Baishishan mineral water, instant hot water, and a mini-fridge. The service is simply outstanding – staff are warm, highly efficient, and incredibly accommodating, practically anticipating your needs. The great room rates and free parking are major bonuses. Every single staff member is genuinely friendly and made us feel very comfortable. The overall ambiance is fantastic as well. For the price, this hotel offers absolutely unbeatable value! A special shout-out to the front desk team, particularly Wendy, Rain, and Allan, whose service was exceptional. They upgraded our room, gave us a lovely small gift, thoroughly explained the hotel's amenities, and provided all the details for breakfast, including times and location. We had a truly excellent stay.

The breakfast was absolutely perfect 💯, really making up for the hotel's shortcomings in other areas. It's an older hotel, an established brand, so I guess the Ritz-Carlton Chengdu is a stark reminder to anyone hoping for a budget-friendly luxury stay. Being an older property, the decor and design are definitely dated and outmoded. The fact that the lobby is on the 25th floor already tells you the hotel's overall scale won't offer many surprises. The lobby and bar are on the same floor, which naturally lends a quieter atmosphere. The opulent decor feels out of step with current mainstream styles, creating a rather odd vibe. The room was standard for a five-star, with all the expected amenities. You could still see the signature Ritz royal flair, but the signs of age and the worn-out feel prevented me from truly appreciating the brand's concept. As for the pool and gym… let's just say I won't be commenting on them. The real highlight was breakfast: incredibly rich, professional, enticing, and thoughtfully prepared. All in all, for around 800 RMB a night at the Ritz, this is pretty much what you get. It's unrealistic to expect a 2000 RMB experience at that price point. However, it seems many five-star hotels across Chengdu suffer from similar issues of being old and dated, so I don't blame the hotel itself too much.

The photos make it seem like this hotel occupies its own standalone building, but that isn’t the case. It is actually located on the 15th and 18th floors of an older building, which makes the overall experience feel less premium than expected. While the hotel floors themselves have a modern, futuristic design, the contrast with the rest of the building was a bit disappointing. Additionally, the room we booked did not have a window, which was not clearly communicated in the images on trip.com, which did disappoint us. During our visit, there was also very loud construction noise. To their credit, the staff responded promptly and moved us to another floor. However, the noise was still noticeable even after the room change. The hotel offered a 5% discount as compensation, but we felt it was insufficient given the inconvenience caused, especially since we would also not be able to collect Trip.com coins for this stay. As a result, we declined the offer.

Very satisfied with my stay. Will stay here again when I go to Deyang. Excellent services and facilities, with very professional and friendly staff. Excellent location to allow one to joggle along a river or to walk around the city center. Easy taxi/Didi access. Room services are better than expected, with surprising daily freebies such as fresh fruit, cookies, and freshly squeezed fruit juices. Help desk is very prompt in providing what I requested. Buffet breakfast offers top-notch variety of ready-made Chinese and Western style choices or customer-ordered hot noodles. Just a minor suggestion: this is more a customers' behavior problem (can't believe those guests at a 5-star hotel). Currently, when there is a crowd at the front desk to check out, it is the braver with longer hands that get faster services. I suggest either post a clear sign to ask people to keep in line or have a manager to maintain some kind of an order (no need to be military type:-). This is just to be fair to those who are waiting patiently. And better order may also help promote a better hotel reputation. But I understand bad habits die hard, no matter what you do.
