I spent a long time choosing before finally booking the Zhongzhou International Shaolin Hotel, and it definitely proved to be the right decision. This was, without a doubt, the best hotel we stayed at throughout our entire trip! They provided complimentary fruit, and the breakfast spread was very generous. The room facilities were brand new, the room itself was spacious, and its location also made it incredibly convenient for visiting nearby attractions.

Excellent location , next to shopping mall with nice shops and nice restaurants . Can just walk to the mall. Hotel staff service is average , quite cold and not enthusiastic . No aircon because it is not summer as the rooms are 26C and can’t do anything . Asked for extra fan otherwise can’t sleep , too warm.

There is a large parking lot at the entrance of the hotel, and the security guards at the entrance are warm and thoughtful. The front desk beauty is considerate and meticulous. The room facilities are complete and the breakfast is rich. The hotel is equipped with a gym, the equipment is simple and practical, the management is orderly, and the service is in place.

Anyang Junlan Hotel is high-end and classy, ​​with new facilities, good service, and a great buffet breakfast—everything is good except for the overwhelming smell of renovation odor in the rooms. It shows it opened in 2024, but I didn't expect the renovation smell to still be so strong in October 2025. The smell of new renovations is harmful to health. I could smell it as soon as I entered the room, and shortly after, my eyes started watering. Then I started coughing, and the cough worsened in the middle of the night until I couldn't lie down to rest. I had no choice but to stand by the window to get some fresh air, staring blankly out the window until dawn. Sigh.

Just got back from my trip during Chinese New Year. The outdoor temperature soared to around 25°C these past few days, and the room felt stuffy. Since it's a central AC system, I couldn't adjust the cooling myself. I had to ask staff to help open the windows for some ventilation (they needed special tools), which made it a bit better. The sanitary facilities were quite good, though. As for food: the hotel offers afternoon tea and an evening buffet (there were about 4 dishes, but we didn't eat it so I'm not sure about the specific items). For getting around: Metro Line 1 is right next door, so getting around was pretty convenient.

The room is large, the bedding is very comfortable, the swimming pool is quite satisfactory, and the overall service of the hotel is very good. Although there are not too many types of breakfast, it is still exquisite and full. Generally speaking, it is the most cost-effective. The only problem is that many small flying insects will come in the room, probably because the screen window is a bit big

After arriving at Zhengzhou East Station, you can take a DiDi bus from the P5 parking lot. Our family of three took a DiDi there, and with the 9 RMB toll fee, it cost around 77 RMB. It was a bit far. The hotel is quite large, and the decor is decent. There were many staff members in the lobby, but only one person was handling check-ins. You have to scan and check in yourself. If there are multiple guests, you need to take photos of each person's ID and do a face scan for verification, which was not a great experience. A bunch of staff were just greeting people, but the actual check-in process is self-service. The room overall was okay, and breakfast was also fine. There were no giraffes to feed in winter. The hotel has a small train that goes to Yinji Animal Park, which is convenient. In the evening, we couldn't find a car to go out for dinner, so we took a small electric scooter. In the morning, there were DiDis available to go back to Zhengzhou city center.
