The front desk service was great; check-in was fast, and they even upgraded me to a river view room, which was a nice bonus. The breakfast spread was fantastic, with plenty of local specialties like taro paste, fish balls, seafood hotpot, peanut soup, vermicelli paste, and oyster cakes, all of which tasted delicious. It gets quite busy during breakfast, so if you go too late, you'll likely have to wait in line. The only minor inconvenience was that food deliveries can only be left at the hotel lobby on the first floor, while the front desk is on the 40th floor. Overall, it was a very good stay, and I would choose this hotel again if I'm back in the area.

My first time ever in Fuzhou! After a lot of back and forth on Trip.com, reading countless reviews and recommendations, I finally settled on the West Lake Hotel. Here's my take on the stay: The young lady who handled my check-in was super friendly, and the process was incredibly fast. When I mentioned I had an early flight and needed to leave soon, she proactively arranged a breakfast box for me. Talk about thoughtful service! Hotel Environment: The lobby is bright and adorned with numerous handicrafts and artworks. The best part? There's a Starbucks right in the lobby! My room rate included a complimentary Starbucks coffee every day, which saved me so much time. I could grab a coffee and then stroll through West Lake Park right outside the hotel. Room Facilities: The moment I opened my room door, West Lake Park was right there, offering a beautiful view. All the amenities in the room were new and very well-maintained. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job – rooms were clean, fast, and thorough. Restaurant Service: The breakfast spread was extensive, featuring both Western and Chinese options, along with plenty of local Fuzhou snacks. However, the restaurant service was rather disappointing and fell short. The breakfast box was quite slapdash and arrived more than ten minutes late, even after the front desk called multiple times to rush it. Inside the big box was just one egg, one milk, and two small buns... a completely cold and uninspired breakfast. Why the fifteen-minute delay for that?! This breakfast box really doesn't live up to the hotel's star rating; it was truly frustrating. All the great feelings I'd accumulated during my stay were instantly shattered....

This Shangri-La truly lives up to the brand's reputation. First off, the location is excellent, right in Fuzhou's city center, making it convenient to get anywhere. It's even within walking distance of the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys. I specifically booked a room facing the square to watch Fuzhou's daily flag-raising ceremony, and I could watch it right from my room, then immediately go back to sleep – a huge plus! As expected from a long-standing international five-star hotel, the service is truly exceptional. While most hotels only allow check-in at 2 PM, here I could check in as early as 12 PM. Plus, they provide a butler service, which is incredibly convenient. From the moment I arrived, I was constantly treated to thoughtful touches – a small snack here, a fresh fruit there, it was really considerate. The breakfast was also great, with a wide variety of Chinese and Western dishes, all tasting delicious. Even a small sign indicating their service standards showed the hotel's professionalism and attention to detail. But my absolute favorite was the hotel gym. It's actually a 24/7 FITNESS branch, with professional equipment that delighted me, a dedicated fitness enthusiast. This is hands down the best hotel gym I've ever encountered. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Fuzhou.

My Quanzhou trip included a stay at the InterContinental Taihe, and the experience truly exceeded my expectations – I just have to rave about it! I booked a deluxe room, but the front desk kindly upgraded me to a suite. The space was huge and incredibly comfortable, with an amazing view outside the window. I could see both the river and the city skyline, which was beautiful day and night. The Ferris wheel's lights were especially dazzling, and just relaxing in the room put me in such a great mood. The breakfast selection was incredibly rich, with both Chinese and Western options, and the taste was spot-on. I was very satisfied. The service attitude was truly exceptional. Everyone was warm and attentive throughout my stay, always ready to help. They even extended my check-out until 2 PM free of charge, which meant I didn't have to rush and could enjoy my itinerary at a leisurely pace. Overall, my stay was fantastic – clean, comfortable, and with excellent service. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit to Quanzhou. Highly recommend!

Located right at Chating Metro Station in the city center, the hotel boasts incredibly convenient transportation. As a 274-meter high-altitude landmark, its 58th-floor lobby is grand and offers panoramic views overlooking Rongcheng. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, clean, and tidy, with soft bedding. The service is attentive and efficient, with prompt responses. Breakfast is extensive, offering a wide selection of both Chinese and Western options. The heated swimming pool and gym are well-equipped. Overall, the hotel is high-end and elegant, perfect for both business travelers and leisure stays, offering great value for money.

The environment here is quite beautiful, and I heard it's the best hotel in the area. It's clean, and the service is warm and attentive. The facilities are new, and the front desk staff, seeing we had a lot of luggage, kindly upgraded us to a larger room for free, which was really thoughtful – a big thank you! Also, the bedding in this hotel is super comfortable, just the right firmness. Breakfast is plentiful and tastes great too! There's even a helipad on the hotel's rooftop that guests can visit for photos, though it's only open for one hour each in the morning, afternoon, and evening. You can catch the sunrise in the morning and sunset in the evening, but unfortunately, the timing didn't work out for our visit, so it wasn't open. All in all, this is a really great hotel!

I didn't expect this hotel to be so good, and now I understand why it received so many positive reviews. First, the hotel gave us a free upgrade to a courtyard family room, which was incredibly important. The south-facing room on the first floor was very warm, and being able to open a small door directly into the courtyard was lovely. **Cleanliness**: The cleanliness was excellent, and the facilities were new. The cleaning staff did a fantastic job; they even disinfected the tea set. Seeing that we enjoyed tea, they provided a large bottle of Nongfu Spring water. **Environment**: The hotel is located right at the edge of Sanfang Qixiang, making it convenient for taxis. It's also very easy to walk to various attractions (Yan Fu's former residence, Lin Zexu Memorial Hall, Wenrufang, etc.). It's very quiet here, yet if you walk to the main street in the middle of Sanfang Qixiang at night, it's quite lively. About 100 meters away, on Yadao Alley, there's a Michelin Bib Gourmand 'Houjie Laohua' noodle shop that's open until 1 AM, which is very convenient. On the other side, walking towards Wenrufang, there's another Michelin-starred Min cuisine restaurant with excellent food. On the main street, the 'Tongli Rouyan' (meat swallows) is also delicious and served very quickly. **Facilities**: The hotel's public areas are a suitable size with high ceilings. They offer various coffee, fruit tea, and hot beverages, plus some soft drinks and cold beverages (the 'Dasjie' olive juice is delicious). They also provide free postcards with stamps available. In the room, there's a box with several types of tea and a complete tea brewing set. **Service**: The service was very thoughtful. We were satisfied from check-in onwards. Fresh fruit was delivered daily, and all drinks in the mini-bar were complimentary. Since we couldn't wake up early enough for the buffet breakfast, I asked if the hotel could pack some for us to try. To my surprise, they agreed and even delivered it to our room on a small table! I felt a bit embarrassed, as I had only expected a takeaway box. When we checked out, the hotel butler presented us with a souvenir and helped carry our luggage to the car. (I specifically noted the butlers' name tags, which read Qin Yue and Zhang Xuan). Later, I learned that the hotel's breakfast is vegetarian and it's called 'Sanbao,' suggesting it might be a hotel with Buddhist undertones. Staying here, I felt very peaceful, and the overall environment was wonderful. This is truly a hotel that offers great value for money and is highly recommended.

Superbly located in a quiet leafy neighborhood next to a beautiful lake (good for birdwatching during spring). Very well maintained hotel premise - despite its 3-decade old history - kudos to hotel management. The central atrium is impressive with a nice historical mural, ideal for a delightful afternoon coffee or evening cocktail. Has a 15m open-air pool that is open throughout the year (a rare gem in Xiamen) - sparklingly clean water, refreshingly cool, with nice view of the lake through the pool terrace. Adjacent to hotel is a cosy bar / F&B enclave - offering a variety of foodie options. The on-premise Italian and fusion-Vietnamese restaurants are very popular among locals and tourists alike.

Impressed by Wuyi, the most beautiful椿泊. The hotel is nestled in a quiet spot yet close to the action, built right along the creek. It's a pleasant walk to Song Street and Sangu Food Street. The Song Dynasty aesthetic blends seamlessly with the Wuyi Mountain landscape, creating an infinitely enchanting view. What truly stands out are the hotel staff; every single one is genuinely warm and friendly, offering prompt and thoughtful service with a sweet smile. I'll definitely be back here again!

XXiaoshanxiaoafengAn absolutely fantastic family trip experience! Location: While not in the city center, the hotel is very close to the airport, just a 15-minute drive away. It's surrounded by luxury residential areas, making it very quiet and perfect for a stroll. A 10-minute taxi ride gets you to Wuyuan Bay Beach, which is clean and uncrowded. Room: We chose a garden view room this time, and it was spacious and felt very high-quality. The garden view itself was beautiful! Dining: We tried breakfast at the Western restaurant, lunch at the Chinese restaurant, dinner at the Xiamen restaurant, and even in-room dining. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. There was no need to eat out at all. Service: From the pre-arrival communication to checking in, the service was impeccable. A special shout-out to our butler, Molly, who proactively informed us about hotel activities, helped with reservations, and provided meticulous service, always responding to our needs! The hotel itself is stunning, with a great sense of design, and every corner is photo-worthy. Upon checkout, they even gave our child a hotel teddy bear. We'll definitely come back to stay if we get the chance!

DDanmuxianrenRoom: Booked a Deluxe Seaview King Room, and the two-night package from Ctrip included executive privileges. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered a fantastic view; if the weather's good, you can even catch the sunrise without leaving the room. Breakfast: Shangri-La's breakfast is always excellent, featuring local specialties like Shacha noodles, peanut soup, and Mianxian paste. Alternatively, you can have breakfast at the Horizon Club on the 4th floor, which offers a smaller selection but includes some exquisite à la carte egg and noodle dishes, and the coffee comes with beautiful latte art – a really nice touch! Happy Hour: They had about four or five hot dishes, plus sushi and salad – quite good! Gym/Pool: Didn't get a chance to experience them. Location: It's about a 20-minute drive from the airport, which is very convenient. However, it's a bit further from the popular tourist attractions. Summary: Overall, I'd say this is probably one of the best Shangri-La hotels in China – definitely worth experiencing!

LLikainidainidedifangqubierendainidedifangThis hotel is located right within the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys scenic area, seamlessly blending in with its attractions. At first glance, you might even mistake it for one of the old mansions! The 'Fuzhou' stone at the entrance and the walls covered in firecracker flowers draw plenty of people for photos. They offer exclusive, special services: delicate snacks, fresh fruit, and a warming, small alcoholic drink. **Room Facilities**: The rooms are entirely Chinese-style. The elegant peony mural above the bed, symbolizing 'spring filling the garden,' and the black-themed furniture are arranged very comfortably. **Value for Money**: Overall, Fuzhou hotel prices offer good value. Coming back from Chaozhou, the difference in room quality for the same price is quite significant, so I think the value here is really high. **Breakfast**: Served at the restaurant directly opposite. While the variety isn't huge, it includes local specialties like oyster omelets and 'Laohua' (a local noodle soup). I heard it used to be at another Michelin-starred restaurant – I hope they can switch back to that one next time! **Bed**: Large and comfortable. **Hygiene**: Clean. **Parking**: There's a dedicated parking lot, but since the entire scenic area has stone slab paths, pushing a suitcase is a bit inconvenient. Also, cars can't reach the hotel entrance directly, so you have to walk a bit. Our driver wasn't familiar with the area, which led to a longer detour, making it quite inconvenient. **Room View**: Opening the wooden lattice windows, you see ancient, quaint surrounding walls. **Location & Transportation**: Right in the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys scenic area. For going out, entering from Tonghu Road is more convenient. **Service**: I felt at ease as soon as I arrived. The uncle at the door carried all my luggage to the room and gave very detailed instructions and explanations. I even thought he was the owner! [Thumbs Up] The most thoughtful touch was the preserved plums – they were quite tasty. However, on the second day, the uncle only placed my luggage outside. If it could have been taken all the way to the roadside, I think the service would have been even more exceptional. **Bathroom Facilities**: Bright and spotless, with a powerful shower. The hotel's facilities and decor are all very ancient and elegant, exuding a tranquil charm. Looking at the large koi, I feel like I could spend an entire day just in the hotel.

PPangpanghecookieFuzhou Mercure Hotel: Impeccable Service and Attention to Detail! What a Lucky Year of the Horse! (Ma Nian You Fu!) We arrived in Fuzhou on the sixth day of the ***** New Year, and unexpectedly, this stay filled our entire trip with warmth – truly a ”lucky Year of the Horse” experience! 📍Super Convenient Location: The hotel is located inside Ningde Building, just a 900-meter walk from the subway station, making travel incredibly easy. Plus, it's only a 30-minute walk to Sanfang Qixiang, which is super convenient for sightseeing. There are also plenty of dining options nearby. I especially want to recommend Jianzhou Yan, also on the 22nd floor of the same building. They serve authentic Fuzhou specialty dishes that impressed us so much we ate there twice – highly recommended! 🏨Thoughtful Hardware, Quiet and Comfortable: The hotel occupies the 19th and 26th floors. Despite being in the city center, the soundproofing is excellent. The double-pane windows can be opened for ventilation and have safety locks, providing both security and fresh air. Thick carpets in the hallways absorb almost all noise. The bedding is new, soft, and comfortable, ensuring a very restful night's sleep every evening. 🤝Five-Star Service: Every staff member greeted us with a smile, making us feel incredibly welcome. The most pleasant surprise was the complimentary welcome fruit delivered to our room when we checked in after 10 PM. When I accidentally left a pair of pants in the room upon check-out, the hotel proactively contacted me and arranged to mail them back. This kind of genuine service felt truly like family. 🚗Convenient Parking & Quick Reimbursement: Since our car was large, they arranged for us to park in a surface lot next door. The parking fee reimbursement process at check-out was quick and hassle-free. 🍳Excellent Value Breakfast: At 58 yuan per person, the breakfast was abundant, delicious, and made with fresh ingredients. We were very satisfied. I sincerely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Fuzhou. I will definitely choose to stay here again next time!

TTaffy4456I first heard about Linggan Hotel through an article by Teacher Maori and immediately bookmarked it as a great B&B. When I had the chance to travel to Xiamen during the off-season at the end of the year, I booked a king-size room at Linggan the day after I booked my flight. I chose the Sanqiutian Pier for the ferry, as Baidu Maps showed it was closer to the B&B. After getting off the pier, it was just over a 10-minute walk to the property. The B&B has a rather large courtyard, and its location offers a peaceful retreat while being close to both Piano Pier and Longtou Road. My favorite spot was the small balcony seating at the end of the corridor; enjoying a cup of coffee from the downstairs cafe and soaking up the sun in the afternoon was simply delightful. The room decor was minimalist, but all essential amenities were provided, showing great attention to detail. The large bathtub even came with a perfectly sized liner. In the evening, playing some favorite music on the in-room Bose Bluetooth speaker was just perfect. The breakfast on the second day was a set meal, very generous and delicious. You could choose to enjoy it in the cafe downstairs or in the outdoor garden. Both the auntie and the front desk staff were very enthusiastic. I hope the prices don't increase too much during peak season, as I truly want to come back again!

11386015****A day before our arrival, the housekeeper sent us a detailed message with all sorts of tips and information. They covered everything, even asking if we were traveling with children so they could prepare special toiletries and toys for them. The swimming pool had free water guns and kayaks, and the lobby offered free Hanfu for photo ops. When I arrived, I saw a lovely young lady waiting for us in the parking lot – it turned out to be Xiao Shi, who I had been communicating with. This seemingly delicate girl actually helped us with our luggage and guided us to our room, which was incredibly thoughtful. What's more, when my sister left her cosmetics in the room, Xiao Shi contacted me immediately and even delivered them to our door! Such a dedicated personal butler definitely deserves a bonus! Thank you, Xiao Shi!

JJ XuLijiazhuang Hotel is hidden in a quiet corner of Gulangyu Island, with a clean and elegant environment and a perfect geographical location. Its historical atmosphere and architectural beauty interweave a restrained and rich aura, which is impressive. The room we stayed in was warm and elegant, and it was one of my favorite spaces on this trip. The service is even more exemplary. The housekeepers Xiao Chen and Xiao Wang are thoughtful and patient, and respond quickly, truly achieving ”details are service”. Such a hotel with great care and full of emotions, with good user experience and a deep reputation foundation, fully has the sustainable advantage of leveraging trust and building long-term customer assets.
