Service: The service was incredibly attentive and efficient. They were very quick to respond to requests, definitely a five-star experience. Environment: The view was fantastic, overlooking the Min River. We got to watch the sunset, which was absolutely beautiful. Facilities: The TV wasn't a smart TV, so we couldn't cast anything to it. Hopefully, they'll update that soon. I really liked the toiletries, though. Breakfast: There was a good variety of options, but the taste was just average. It was extremely crowded, and there was a lot of waiting in line.

Hotel near West Lake Park Area,Fuzhou 1% of visitors choose this area

This hotel has already won half the battle with its unbeatable location. Waking up to a view of West Lake right outside your window, and having direct access from the hotel to walk around and exercise, is truly exceptional. Being so close to Sanfang Qixiang (Three Lanes and Seven Alleys) and being able to order takeout from top-rated local restaurants delivered right to your door is another huge win. We indulged in countless delicious meals; we ordered from Tangmocha Tea and Yanjing Guanguan at least five times! The night stroll from Sanfang Qixiang, walking past West Lake back to the hotel, was absolutely delightful. Thanks to this hotel, my family and I now have an overwhelmingly positive impression of Fuzhou!

An absolutely fantastic stay at Shangri-La Fuzhou, and a special shout-out to Cynthia! My recent stay at the Shangri-La Hotel, Fuzhou, was an incredible experience from start to finish. It truly lives up to its reputation as a benchmark five-star hotel in Fuzhou, with impeccable hardware and service. I particularly want to give a personal commendation to Ms. Cynthia, the lobby manager, whose warm service genuinely enhanced my entire stay! The hotel boasts an excellent location right in the heart of the city. What impressed me most, though, was the service. I felt completely at home and cared for throughout my stay, especially thanks to Cynthia from guest services, who was both professional and thoughtful. Before check-in, she proactively communicated with me to understand my needs and arranged the room perfectly. During check-in, she was enthusiastic, thorough, and patient, taking the initiative to introduce the hotel facilities and provide tips for exploring Fuzhou. Throughout my stay, she consistently checked in on my experience, promptly responded to all my requests, thoughtfully replenished amenities, and even brought special tea and snacks. She even remembered our preferences, offering personalized service. Her gentle and professional demeanor made us feel incredibly comfortable. Shangri-La Fuzhou truly demonstrates the quality of a five-star hotel, and Cynthia's heartwarming service added an extra layer of warmth to our trip. The entire experience was flawless. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Fuzhou, and I highly recommend it to anyone traveling to the city!

Hotel near Xunpu Village/Donghai Taihe Plaza,Quanzhou 4.3% of visitors choose this area

For my Quanzhou trip, I chose the InterContinental Taihe, initially drawn by its convenient location, close to all the main attractions. I booked an Executive Suite, which included Executive Lounge access. The room offered simultaneous views of the Ferris wheel and Jinjiang Bridge – you could watch the tide come and go during the day, and the nighttime views were even more stunning. Right next door was the Maritime Silk Road Xunfeng Night Market, bustling with local life. From check-in onwards, the staff's service was exceptional, especially Ms. Xiao Mao. Her service was consistently attentive and responsive to every request. The room key card was also very unique and made for a nice souvenir. The breakfast is highly recommended; it featured almost every type of Quanzhou snack, allowing you to savor global delicacies without leaving the hotel. Western dishes, fruits, and regular breakfast items were also plentiful. It truly lives up to its reputation as a 'World City of Gastronomy,' and I can understand why international visitors also choose to stay here.

The location is fantastic: There are convenience stores, restaurants, and a subway station nearby, which is incredibly convenient for independent travelers. You don't have to waste time on transportation, and you can easily grab some snacks and fruits before heading back to the hotel at night. This kind of convenience really enhances the travel experience. Heartfelt service: Often, memories of a hotel come from those perfectly executed service details. Breakfast is a bonus: It combines Fuzhou's local specialty snacks (like fish balls, rouyan, guobianhu, etc.) with an international buffet, satisfying both the desire for novelty and different tastes. Being able to enjoy authentic local snacks at breakfast is definitely more leisurely than making a special trip to a snack bar. Your 'wise choice' is so detailed and will be a very practical reference for anyone planning a trip to Fuzhou and debating where to stay. I'm sure this choice won't disappoint you on your next visit to Fuzhou. If you're interested in sharing other discoveries from your trip – like good places you visited starting from the hotel, or memorable restaurants you tried – feel free to chat about it anytime.

GGuest User 2026.02.19
The room was fantastic, and they even gave the kids some arcade tokens, which they loved. The next morning, we went up to the Cloud Observation Deck. Even though the weather wasn't great and we missed the sunrise, we still got to see a beautiful panoramic view of Longyan city, which was pretty amazing. During the Chinese New Year, they also organized some intangible cultural heritage experiences, like making lacquer fans and woodblock prints. The kids had a blast and even learned something new! 😄😄 The breakfast was incredibly rich with lots of local specialties, and the taste was really authentic. They had both Chinese and Western options, highly recommend it!

I didn't expect this hotel to be so good, and now I understand why it received so many positive reviews. First, the hotel gave us a free upgrade to a courtyard family room, which was incredibly important. The south-facing room on the first floor was very warm, and being able to open a small door directly into the courtyard was lovely. **Cleanliness**: The cleanliness was excellent, and the facilities were new. The cleaning staff did a fantastic job; they even disinfected the tea set. Seeing that we enjoyed tea, they provided a large bottle of Nongfu Spring water. **Environment**: The hotel is located right at the edge of Sanfang Qixiang, making it convenient for taxis. It's also very easy to walk to various attractions (Yan Fu's former residence, Lin Zexu Memorial Hall, Wenrufang, etc.). It's very quiet here, yet if you walk to the main street in the middle of Sanfang Qixiang at night, it's quite lively. About 100 meters away, on Yadao Alley, there's a Michelin Bib Gourmand 'Houjie Laohua' noodle shop that's open until 1 AM, which is very convenient. On the other side, walking towards Wenrufang, there's another Michelin-starred Min cuisine restaurant with excellent food. On the main street, the 'Tongli Rouyan' (meat swallows) is also delicious and served very quickly. **Facilities**: The hotel's public areas are a suitable size with high ceilings. They offer various coffee, fruit tea, and hot beverages, plus some soft drinks and cold beverages (the 'Dasjie' olive juice is delicious). They also provide free postcards with stamps available. In the room, there's a box with several types of tea and a complete tea brewing set. **Service**: The service was very thoughtful. We were satisfied from check-in onwards. Fresh fruit was delivered daily, and all drinks in the mini-bar were complimentary. Since we couldn't wake up early enough for the buffet breakfast, I asked if the hotel could pack some for us to try. To my surprise, they agreed and even delivered it to our room on a small table! I felt a bit embarrassed, as I had only expected a takeaway box. When we checked out, the hotel butler presented us with a souvenir and helped carry our luggage to the car. (I specifically noted the butlers' name tags, which read Qin Yue and Zhang Xuan). Later, I learned that the hotel's breakfast is vegetarian and it's called 'Sanbao,' suggesting it might be a hotel with Buddhist undertones. Staying here, I felt very peaceful, and the overall environment was wonderful. This is truly a hotel that offers great value for money and is highly recommended.

This is an old, upscale hotel in Xiamen, boasting an excellent location and environment. Its signature Napoleon cake is nationally renowned; seriously, back in high school 20 years ago, bringing a Marco Polo Napoleon cake was a surefire way to impress any girl! The surrounding area is packed with stylish bars and cafes. The gym has all the essentials, though the facilities are definitely showing their age – think 'old money' vibes. There are a lot of foreigners around, and the whole atmosphere really makes you feel like you're on an overseas holiday. In the evenings, you'll see plenty of luxury cars, which is quite a sight. Absolutely fantastic value for money!

Highly recommend. While the price isn't low, the experience is truly excellent. The cultural decor throughout the hotel is fantastic, with calligraphy by Su Shi and Huang Tingjian hanging in the rooms. The staff are all incredibly friendly and attentive. It really gives off the vibe of a top-tier resort in Bali or Phuket. The hotel's breakfast is okay, but not outstanding. Some items in the pastry section were quite good, even getting praise from a French guest, but there were also some defrosted items. The juice was truly subpar – very watery and I suspect they added sugar. Hope to see some improvement there.

SShizuoyoushangNestled in Wuyuan Bay, The Seven Villa Hotel Xiamen exceeded all my expectations. Its design beautifully marries Minnan culture with modern minimalism, featuring handcrafted terracotta tiles, traditional Chinese corridors, and reflective water features, all exuding a sophisticated elegance. The guest rooms are fully equipped: the mattress and bedding are incredibly comfortable and skin-friendly, ensuring a great night's sleep, and the heated bathroom adds to the unparalleled comfort. The service was exemplary; my butler, Molly, was incredibly responsive, anticipated my needs proactively, and provided thoughtful courtesies, making my stay truly exceptional. The service felt like a gentle breeze, with meticulous butler-style care, and the turndown service with a nightly drink and sleep spray added an extra touch of warmth. With an infinity pool, hot stone spa, and sunset cocktails at the Long Bar, the hotel offers abundant amenities, making it easy to stay in and fully immerse yourself. It truly delivers a luxurious experience for both body and mind. Highly recommended when visiting Xiamen!

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is absolutely stunning, right within a 5A scenic area! As soon as I walked into the lobby, I was amazed by the decor. There were so many lacquered artifacts, and shelves filled with books about Fuzhou's history and culture. The entire lobby was perfumed with the scent of Fuzhou jasmine tea! The room's style was also very classic, perfectly complementing the surroundings. Even the toiletries were high-quality. Breakfast, served across the street, was also quite extensive! Upon check-out, they even gave me a tea souvenir. [Gift emoji] Highly recommend staying here! [Heart emoji]

GGuest UserIt's very quiet, and the hotel environment is excellent. It's also very close to the beach, perfect for a little relaxation during a business trip. The bed is quite soft, but the best part is definitely the quietness – it's so important for getting good rest when you're traveling for work. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this hotel is a great choice. After my meeting, I called the hotel at lunchtime and asked them to clean my room within 20 minutes, and they had it done in less than 20 minutes – very efficient!

XXuenaiWe spontaneously decided to extend our stay for another night and switched to a twin room without a bathtub, which was just as satisfying. The hotel's cleanliness is impeccable; even the window tracks were spotless. The restaurant staff remembered there were two of us, and when one person didn't show up, they proactively offered to pack breakfast for us. My mother doesn't eat seafood, so they specially prepared a noodle soup for her. The lovely lady at the front desk lent us a charger and even gave us a gift. One suggestion: adding another coffee machine would be great to avoid queues during breakfast.

TTaffy4456I first heard about Linggan Hotel through an article by Teacher Maori and immediately bookmarked it as a great B&B. When I had the chance to travel to Xiamen during the off-season at the end of the year, I booked a king-size room at Linggan the day after I booked my flight. I chose the Sanqiutian Pier for the ferry, as Baidu Maps showed it was closer to the B&B. After getting off the pier, it was just over a 10-minute walk to the property. The B&B has a rather large courtyard, and its location offers a peaceful retreat while being close to both Piano Pier and Longtou Road. My favorite spot was the small balcony seating at the end of the corridor; enjoying a cup of coffee from the downstairs cafe and soaking up the sun in the afternoon was simply delightful. The room decor was minimalist, but all essential amenities were provided, showing great attention to detail. The large bathtub even came with a perfectly sized liner. In the evening, playing some favorite music on the in-room Bose Bluetooth speaker was just perfect. The breakfast on the second day was a set meal, very generous and delicious. You could choose to enjoy it in the cafe downstairs or in the outdoor garden. Both the auntie and the front desk staff were very enthusiastic. I hope the prices don't increase too much during peak season, as I truly want to come back again!

DdemonstratedI brought my mom to Gulangyu Island and chose the Lin Family Mansion Hotel, and it was definitely the right choice. The hotel itself is a century-old building with a lot of charm; even just strolling around the courtyard feels like visiting a tourist attraction. The biggest surprise was that the hotel provided free cheongsams for photos, and even printed them out as souvenirs. I took quite a few photos myself; the old building paired with the cheongsams made for fantastic pictures, and my mom was overjoyed wearing them, saying the trip was perfect. The service was also very thoughtful; the driver saw my mom carrying a bag and offered to help carry it. The rooms were clean and the environment was quiet, making it a great place to stay with elders. I especially want to praise the Lin Family Banquet Hall. I originally just wanted to eat at the hotel for convenience, but it turned out to be a wonderful surprise on the trip. As someone from Guangdong, I'm quite sensitive to the freshness of ingredients, and the baby squid with yellow peppers was incredibly fresh, and the soup was perfectly cooked. The chef even came out to introduce the dishes and we chatted for a bit; you could feel his dedication. When traveling with my mom, I'm most afraid of making a bad choice, but this time, from the accommodation to the food, everything was excellent. I would definitely consider staying here again next time I'm on Gulangyu Island.

GGuest UserA day before our arrival, the housekeeper sent us a detailed message with all sorts of tips and information. They covered everything, even asking if we were traveling with children so they could prepare special toiletries and toys for them. The swimming pool had free water guns and kayaks, and the lobby offered free Hanfu for photo ops. When I arrived, I saw a lovely young lady waiting for us in the parking lot – it turned out to be Xiao Shi, who I had been communicating with. This seemingly delicate girl actually helped us with our luggage and guided us to our room, which was incredibly thoughtful. What's more, when my sister left her cosmetics in the room, Xiao Shi contacted me immediately and even delivered them to our door! Such a dedicated personal butler definitely deserves a bonus! Thank you, Xiao Shi!

JJ XuLijiazhuang Hotel is hidden in a quiet corner of Gulangyu Island, with a clean and elegant environment and a perfect geographical location. Its historical atmosphere and architectural beauty interweave a restrained and rich aura, which is impressive. The room we stayed in was warm and elegant, and it was one of my favorite spaces on this trip. The service is even more exemplary. The housekeepers Xiao Chen and Xiao Wang are thoughtful and patient, and respond quickly, truly achieving ”details are service”. Such a hotel with great care and full of emotions, with good user experience and a deep reputation foundation, fully has the sustainable advantage of leveraging trust and building long-term customer assets. GGuest UserThe service attitude of the lady at the front desk was very good. She added WeChat and responded to any questions in time. Because it was booked on short notice, the price would be slightly higher than some group buying platforms. I stayed in a garden twin room, but I could see the sea from the side of the balcony. The room was pretty good. It has been open for about seven or eight years, right? It's a little old, but it's still the best hotel in this area. Many people who come here to stay are family outings. You can borrow bicycles and kites to play at the beach, but the weather is hot and you can't play for too long. The hotel doesn't have any indoor entertainment activities or public swimming pools to play in the water. Fortunately, a small tent painting set was given so that you can kill time in the room. It would be even better if more children's play facilities were added! There is a coastal defense park nearby, and you can also go to the Senqiu Farm on Shuangyu Island to feed the small animals. If you are a little further away, you can drive 20 minutes to Shima to eat and eat. The two-day and one-night itinerary is just right. 👻
