Beach Hotels in Terengganu, Malaysia

We initially had a frustrating experience as our towels were delivered quite late. However, the situation was handled professionally by Manager Iza, who personally delivered the towels to our room and sincerely apologized for the delay. Her prompt action and attention to guests made a positive difference. Overall, the rooms were spacious and comfortable. We booked four rooms and requested them to be located near each other, which the hotel successfully accommodated. However, housekeeping services need improvement, as one of our rooms was not serviced and there were some inconsistencies in room maintenance during our stay. The hotel’s location is excellent and very convenient. It is close to everything we needed, with Restoran Singgang Budu located right beside the hotel. There are also laundry facilities nearby, and plenty of food options within walking distance, making it a great choice for travelers. The staff were friendly, always smiling, and genuinely tried their best to accommodate our requests throughout our stay. While housekeeping could be improved, the service recovery by the management team and the hotel’s strategic location made our overall stay enjoyable.

Had a great stay at Bidong View Resort. Everything was smooth from the check-in and check-out. Staff really attentive and friendly. Will definitely come back in the future 😊

Stayed for one night. Location is convenient, close to town and food places. Room is very basic and a bit old. Cleanliness can be improved, especially the bathroom. Air-conditioner was noisy and facilities are limited. Staff was okay. Suitable only for a short stay if you just need a place to sleep.

Park the car in his area. Self care but there is CCTV. His swimming pool is small so you have to find a suitable time to take a shower if you don't want to connect with other children/families. The room is big so comfortable for prayer. Iron is not okay because w/even install the most slow but can be burned. Towels smell a little bit, pillows are thin. Aircond is cold. Environmental is safe. Can walk across the road to go to the beach. W/even working day book but full room. Congratulations & thank you.

Lot of facilities are not working or not available. Request to repair the jacuzzi, they came once, problem was not solved and that’s it. unuseable jacuzzi for the whole stay. Ok for a calm no activities stay, but not for families looking for varieties of activities such as ATV, jet ski etc. Fairway of the golf course was patchy, and most bunkers are not playable. Greens are ok.

Although my husband and I had a difficult experience during our stay at this hotel, where I suddenly experienced bleeding and a miscarriage on the first night, the hotel staff were very attentive and cooperative when the ambulance came to pick me up. The hotel manager also showed great concern by checking in on my condition. The next day, the hotel manager, on behalf of the hotel, sent a fruit basket with a 'get well soon' message. The Perhentian Islands in Malaysia are a true paradise, easily earning the title of the 'Malaysian Maldives.' I chose the Perhentian Island Resort, and it turned out to be an excellent decision. The hotel is located on the main Perhentian island, right on the edge of a lagoon with crystal-clear turquoise waters. Nearby, there's a picturesque coral reef and a pristine white sand beach adorned with palm trees, reminiscent of exotic 'Bounty' advertisements. Guests are offered secluded bungalows with terraces, most of which boast panoramic sea views. The hotel grounds feature a well-maintained swimming pool and a tennis court. Despite their simplicity, the rooms are equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The buffet breakfasts cater to a wide range of tastes and national preferences, offering fresh and delicious dishes. The hotel is also home to a variety of wildlife: you can spot squirrels, monitor lizards, newts, frogs, and bats. But the real treat was observing a family of spectacled langurs, who seemed to be enjoying their vacation in this natural haven too! The very next day after arriving, I went on a snorkeling tour, which allowed me to see the island from different angles, including other hotels and beaches inaccessible from the shore. Subsequent walks around the island, exploring its jungle, checking out other accommodations, and even visiting a neighboring islet, firmly convinced me that choosing Perhentian Island Resort was the right decision. The beach, the prevailing peace and quiet, and the comfortable atmosphere—it's pure bliss! I will definitely be back!

I recently stayed at Permai Hotel Kuala Terengganu for 2D1N during Hari Raya and booked 2 Deluxe Rooms. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable experience, especially during the festive season. The check-in process was smooth despite the busy Raya period. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which made the arrival experience easy and stress-free. Both rooms were clean, spacious, and well maintained. The beds were comfortable, and the layout was practical, suitable for resting after a long day of visiting family and open houses. One of the main advantages of this hotel is its location. It is conveniently located in Kuala Terengganu, making it easy to travel around for Raya visits and explore nearby areas. Parking was also manageable during our stay. Although the hotel is not luxurious, it offers good value for money and meets expectations for a short stay. The overall environment was quiet and suitable for relaxation after a busy day. In summary, Permai Hotel Kuala Terengganu is a solid choice if you are looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay, especially during festive periods like Hari Raya. I would consider staying here again on my next visit.

I stayed here once with family. Previously in apartment with 3-4 rooms. Really spacious. This time it is studio room so don't expect it to be glamorous or stylish. It is functional room. The only downside is lack of plug. Not even plug at the bedside table. But otherwise water pressure or aircond is good. Just the hot water does not really felt hot. My room at the top most level 9. Previously has some problem with lift. It was slow. But not having those issue during this stay. Either because lack of guest or the lifts are upgraded. Breakfast is good as always, the spread is not that much variety but enough to fulfill morning needs. The ultimate plus is the location opposite pantai batu burok, walking distance to hospital sultanah zahirah, stadium, akuatik centre and shopping malls like KTCC and mayang.

The service was great. The hotel WhatsApp in advance asking what time I wanted to check in. The location was above Tanjung Jara’s area. It was quite serene & peaceful. It’s a 15 mins drive to the Dungun town. The hotel is quite new hence it was very clean. I enjoyed my stay. Thank you.
