Beach Hotels in Emilia-Romagna, Italy

I was out of peak season, I know, and it is an average hotel, I know also. The value for money, however, deserves 5 stars. The personnel is genuinely kind and helpful, room large enough (dated furniture). Breakfast proportional to the money spent. This is a optimal choice for a cheap staying in Rimini. The position is also ok, 400 meters from the sea and walking distance form the station and the old town.

This hotel is perfectly located between city centre and the beach. It’s also easy access to train station (10min walk) and bus 9 (airport). The bedroom was fine and bathroom was roomy and shower was good. Air con was pleasant. I didn’t try breakfast or restaurant. The safe had no keys but we eventually found them. My two quibbles: no one answered any of my emails so I had to call to double check they weren’t shut due to COVID 19 or something ; (annoying!) the cleaning starts at 7am, and frankly, the maid is the noisiest person ever. Imagine a hoover on the room next to you at 7am when you went to bed at 2am! The walls are paper thin and you hear the neighbours, which is not great, but cleaning staff can be scheduled for a more godly hour. I had the worst 3 mornings ever, up hours before I intended to be. As many travellers complained and clearly the hotel doesn’t care, I am giving only 3 stars.

Superior location. The hotel has good facilities. In front of the gate is the river. It's safe, too. I do a lot of running in the morning. Next to it is a new shopping mall. Later, I found that there are many noodles to eat. You can also see the scenery outside. Very good.

From the moment of arrival to check out the staff were extremely warm and welcoming. Rooms are very comfortable and clean - as is the whole hotel - and the breakfast spread was fresh and tasty with a very good variety. The location is perfectly situated, a short walk into the historic centre, a stones throw away from the train station and bus stops with a short journey to the beachfront. I would definitely recommend staying here when visiting this beautiful City - we will definitely be back!

The room is very narrow, there is luggage table behind the door, meaning you cannot open it fully, and the bathroom is old, dated, and prone to leeks. However, shower pressure is good. We were told halfway through our stay the hotel is under new management. This is bringing a full refurbishment over the coming months and so explains why we were awoken before 8am one morning to the sound of hammering and banging. Would we stay again, probably not. There are so many alternatives in the area with similarly great locations, but with better facilities, for similar prices.

Some doubts upon arrival, followed by some other doubts again with the outgoing reception (absence of useful information for simple, perhaps trivial curiosities, but that's it; absence of personnel in charge of baggage at the entrance of the cars; singular explanations which naturally led to use their parking at a cost 5 times higher than what is available…). The room is adequate, although the large information book contains accessibility to Sky (precisely from channel 401 onwards), which does not exist/cannot be reached. Compliments to the staff of the rooms, maintenance, swimming pool and breakfast in the morning. Finally, some doubts about the restaurant and, in particular, about the responses from those in charge of the wines. Thanks to Trip.com the stay cost an extremely interesting sum and, therefore, the opinion, at this price, is very interesting for a hotel, a national monument, like this one.

Everything was perfect, the staff was absolutely perfect and nice, the room was lovely, and breakfast was varied and delicious. The view from the room is very nice if you have a sea view. Outside you have a paid parking lot and a few meters away you have free parking, but it is mostly occupied.

Hotel looks a bit outdated and design is also old- fashioned, but I hardly ever had as comfortable stay as at hotel Bellevue. First of all because everything is meticulously clean and cleanliness in No 1 priority when you stay at the hotel. Staff - super friendly, helpful and nice. Location - best location you can stay in Rimini. 1 min walk to the beach. They upgraded us to the room No 306, which was super comfortable. Thank you very much for making our holidays so comfortable.

The overall ranking on TripAdvisor tells you much of what you need to know about Hotel Esedra. It certainly needs work. I would not have stayed here if I could’ve found another hotel with rooms available at 9pm at night when I arrived in the city, but simply nobody had rooms (and those that had rooms were selling them for hundreds and hundreds of dollars). Hotel Esedra was the only viable choice, unless I wanted to patron the local homeless shelter…although maybe they have good free Italian food there? Lol. I use an electric wheelchair, and as with many local inns in Rimini, there is no wheelchair accessibility. I felt very safe leaving my chair outside at night, and I solicited the help of a few passersby to haul my luggage up the steep staircase to the lobby and hold my hand to ensure I didn’t fall. The atmosphere is small and outdated, with no real indication of attempts to revive or refurbish common areas. The man at check-in was relatively friendly, although he didn’t speak English, so I had to rely on Google Translate and my infantile knowledge of Italian—but in any of my TA reviews, language barriers are never a factor that harms a place. The woman at check-out had some English proficiency, but having Translate handy is still wise. This woman was very friendly, going so far as to call a taxi van, help me with my luggage, and grab me some items from the breakfast buffet downstairs to-go. I should’ve gotten her name—this lady is the only shining light of this hotel at the moment! I was placed in room 105 or something similar to that, a room I hadn’t even noticed until the check-in man pointed it out—it’s a nondescript wooden door right by the main doors with a small paper sign with the room number. It’s almost like the hotel wanted to expand and include more rooms, but didn’t have the space or the budget to make them more like the rest of the property—the black sheep of the hotel? Two such odd rooms were connected to the lobby so brazenly like that, mine and another just a few yards to the right. At least I had a roof over my head, eh? Perhaps the decision to place me there was due to my disability and the attempt to reduce the amount of walking I’d have to do, which if true, I very much appreciate. But unless all the other rooms were to the same or similar quality as mine, I would’ve walked a bit more. And the type of room received anyway didn’t help my condition in the first place… My room (which was a loft-style, two-story configuration separated by a steep wooden staircase I had no interest in or energy to try climbing unaided) was not exactly dirty…it was actually clean enough. It was just OLD. So, so worn down. Rickety and loud and cheap. The bed was a single twin—with no pillows. You heard me. There were ZERO pillows in my room. Now possibly they were in the upstairs section of my room, but having a few downstairs would’ve seemed logical too. I managed to rest my head on the tiny, thin blanket on the bed and a few towels…uncomfort

We stayed 2 nights, everything was to a very good standard (accomodations, breakfast etc). What made this property stand out is all of the friendly and helpfull staff. Particularly Marcella at the front desk! She went out of her way to help us find solutions to some car issues we had. She is a true asset to this hotel.

Overall, staying (our first time) at Hotel Boemia was an excellent experience. Spotlessly clean throughout, spacious rooms, breakfast very good even for us vegetarians. At reception, Elena takes top prize -- warm, courteous, and always helpful, a model for all to follow. In the front cafe/lounge, Robbie (Roberto) is professional, congenial and a genuine asset to the hotel. Our one disappointment was that we found no obvious focus on serious cycling or cycle touring (basic bikes were available for casual cyclists). We learned while there that the hotel was more engaged with road-bike and mountain-bike cycling some years ago. If cycle touring is your goal, be sure to check their cycle program when booking. Finally, a welcome/information pack (in English) in the room would have been helpful, especially for overseas visitors like us (from Ireland). Nonetheless, this is a well-managed, top-class hotel we can highly recommend -- in a wonderful location. We will definitely return. JÉC

Great hotel, comfortable at the station, the city centre and the sea. My wife and I have arrived on the train and, with a few steps, we arrive at the entrance door: the impression is not the best, because the door is closed and it is not clear if it is the main entrance, As the label with the clock is not in good evidence. After some disturbances, cytophones we have a response and you can enter; you cross the garden and climb some steps – without any staff support for baggage (a real absence) – you access the reception, The hotel is a very good hotel and is very good for you to find a good hotel. The apartment we had was excellent, except for the abandoned seed terrace; it was beautiful all the ”historic” part of the hotel. We stayed three nights and we were good, enjoying almost all the services. Generally positive, except – as described – the entrance, which requires a beautiful lack and a better ”invitation”. A personal opinion: I thought that a hotel more proper for business man than for couples or families.

We are used to attending Riccione for Christmas holidays and I must say that this year we were surprised by this structure . Extreme central location two steps from Ceccarini , the structure and care in the minimum details , we fully appreciated the services offered by the structure ( merenda , mini clubs , parking ) The rooms are new and the structure is in full evolution .
