I wanted to travel to a quiet suburb, so I searched Trip.com while taking the train, read reviews, made a reservation in the evening, and went right away. Compared to the cost, it was luxurious because it was inside a hotel, and the front desk staff was kind and I enjoyed the hot springs, so it was great. I was surprised that there was a place like this. If you travel to Wakayama, you should definitely stop by. I highly recommend it.
The service staff is nice, the breakfast is small, but the taste is hygienic. The cleaning products are also good. The room is too small, two people can't turn around, and the bathroom is even smaller. It is very convenient to go out and travel.
The hotel owner's service is generally the same, a little impatient, obviously the phone number registered on the self-check-in machine is not my phone number, I have not registered, I don't know what's going on, the boss said that this is a very serious problem. In addition, I wanted to cancel the reservation because of my stomach pain, but because the order is not cancelled and refunded, even if the platform communicated with the boss, the boss still resolutely refused, so I felt a little bad, I could only go there on the same day to check in
Facilities: There is a bathtub, there are few places, the bed frame is wooden, the mattress is clean, there are small lights and small fans on the side of the bed, and the fan connection can be used as USB charging. There are two tables in the living room, wash basins, wash basins for combing, disposable toothbrushes, lockers, boiled water you can boil hot water yourself. The environment is 10 points clean, and there are not many people when I checked in. There are only two or three people in 10 beds.
It is a good spot for a solo traveler. Capsules are clean. Towels are provided. There is a small tea and coffee area at the entrance. They also have Chinese-standard plug in the capsule which was handy. Also, I likes the smell of wood.
The worst part is that if you come before check-in, nobody is in there, meaning you will have to stroll around and wait for 16:00.
The location is still very good, the room is too small... The space planning is very compact and there is everything that should be there. The price is really cheap, so the overall price is very high, it is a good choice for us to stay for one night. The scenery of Kumano Ancient Road is really good
We stayed for 2 days, one day in a Western style and one day in a Japanese style, each room had its own characteristics. The hotel is affordable and has Chinese service. The hotel is very close to Wakayama City Station. There are 2 train stations in Wakayama City, one is ”Wakayama Station” and the other is ”Wakayama City Station”. The 2 stations are 2.5 kilometers apart.
The hotel is pretty good and clean. It's right next to the pier. It's only a 200-300-meter walk to the tuna market. It's also very convenient to eat. The only thing is that the front desk is too rigid. Check-in is only possible at 3:00 p.m., not even a minute earlier. This is when there are many empty rooms.
Hotel location is next to JR Chuemoto Station
There is a supermarket nearby
Whether it's eating or traveling by bus

GGuest UserThe room is very general, it is the worst I have ever lived, that is, cheap, but the health is not flattering, and the check-in is not smooth, I have a front desk when I arrive at the store, but I don’t give it to me. I have to handle it by email. I can’t handle it on Android mobile phones. Then the front desk secretly disappeared and did not appear. I could not handle it. In the end, Trip.com could not solve it in the middle of the night, but recommended to me a Chinese to help me handle it successfully. I only lived in. I could go to see the sunset and see the fire. I was affected and very angry.
GGuest UserWe stayed in this lovely family hotel for a night, we opted for room stay with dinner and breakfast. There's no shops or restaurant near by, so highly suggest to choose the stay with meals option, otherwise there's cooking facility within the room also, so I think it's possible to cook your own meal if necessary.
Location - the hotel is just round the corner of the famous Shirasaki Ocean Park, we even had a good view of the park from our room. There's parking space right in front of the hotel building, so it's very handy. We cycled to the Shirasaki Ocean Park then to the hotel, so it worked out perfect. There's a very steep slop going up to the hotel though, but it wasn't an issue for us as we pushed out bikes up.
Facilities - this is a family run hotel which believes was built a while ago, so can't compare it to all those new built hotels. The ”room” we stayed is more like a mini flat, it has a big kitchen, good sized bathroom with changing area, a separate toilet, a living room, bedroom and an extra ”sitting” area. The entire flat is in traditional Japanese style which we loved, and it has all facilities that made our stay comfortable. It also has coined washing machine and driers. We could even access to rooftop on the 4th floor to view the sunset. If you're looking for a quiet place to have quality time, then this is a good place to do so. There's also ”public bath” within the hotel, it's small but wasn't an issue for us. There's also shower and bath in the room also if you want some privacy.
Food - all food was cooked and prepared by the hotel owner, and she's a talented chef! Dinner was impressive, breakfast was standard.
The hotel owner is very friendly and lovely, it's definitely ”the place” to stay if you're visiting the area. We highly recommend it.
GGuest UserYou can see the Sanshuikan when you get off the Kawayu Onsen Station. You need to walk a little further to Matsuya. The guy at the front desk was very friendly and checked me in quickly. The room is not big, you need to make the bed yourself. I didn't look carefully at the bedding, but it was comfortable to sleep. The bathroom has a toilet and a small basin, but no shower. There is a river outside the window. Half board 700+, green house open-air hot spring, high cost performance
MMiepro13There was no restaurant around and there was only one ramen shop. The facilities are normal. I think it is not possible because it was reasonable as a hotel in the resort.
JJDFCool stay at a monastery in Koyasan! As far as I understand, Shojoshin-in is one of the larger temple lodgings in Koyasan. Our room had an amazing view (koi pond and forest) from the tea room. All our basic needs are met including amenities. They served authentic Japanese vegan meals; I particularly enjoyed the dinner as it had a large variety of small dishes. Keep in mind this is Japanese style lodging, where you have a shared bath with other guests.
VVictorLocation 10/10:
in close proximity to the railway station, bus station convenience store. They have parking spaces, for cars and bikes. also kind of close to the town center, where the restaurants are and the store are.
Staff 10/10:
friendly and welcoming, tried their best to explain the how things works.
facilities
Basic facilities, toilets are abundant, clean. Sinks are clean.
individual room, with AC, and TV, there's a drying wire in the room, where you can pull out a nylon wire to the other side of the wall and hang your towels or clothing.
there's an actual onsen, very cool, although, in my opinion, it closes fairly early, travellers should plan ahead when they want to try it out.

VVictorLocation 8/10:
A little too far from the JR station, where the buses and the taxi stations are.
Staff:
Very polite, very helpful.
Facilities:
i can't smell cigarettes residues, but i can definitely feel it on the blankets, kind of sticky. Luckily, there are fresh sheets. The blankets are a little overkill for summers anyway.
individual showers plus bath tub, toilets. Although it's a little small, but it gets the job done. You also got free TV, with movies and stuff, BTW, people with kids might need have more parental control over the remote.
GGuest User#Praise#For mosquito control measures, hotel smell, bedding comfort, location, toiletries, room lighting satisfaction; I like this hotel so much! It is also an ideal hotel! The so-called ideal is that every aspect is very practical! Although there is no breakfast, there is a refrigerator microwave in the room. It is very convenient to buy and eat at the nearby convenience store supermarket. The room is large and the bathroom is large, and the toiletries are complete to even the curling stick! The kettle said that the insulation can be kept warm for one night, not to mention that it is so cheap not far from the station! I will only live here on the West Line in the future. ps: This ideal hotel comes from a 40-generation hotel that has lived in various large and small Japanese hotels in a variety of sizes and sizes. Lightning avoidance and mentioning that this store has no elevator, large boxes of passengers should be cautious.
