Great location close to train station. Very clean modern hotel at a good price. Nice pretty chicks at the reception. Very comfortable bed and a great bathroom. Many attractions near the hotel. Snacks and drinks are available from the vending machine. There are code keys everywhere, which means that outsiders have limited opportunities to roam around the hotel. The only downside turned out to be that a room with a window means a room with a window to other windows from which other residents were staring.

Hotel is great for a value no frills overnight stay. Staff are friendly and helpful. Pleasant bar area with food available. Was unseasonably warm overnight when we stayed therefore room was extremely warm, no air conditioning. Clean and comfortable rooms with what you need for a quick stay.

Simply excellent. Super friendly staff, very keenly priced, clean room and decent shower. Plenty enough space in my single room to work and rest for 3 nights. Ended up having to use the space for some online training and the room had ample space that this didn't feel stuffy.

Room ok, staff friendly, downstairs is the Blance bar where you have 25% discount on food and drink, the only negative note is the breakfast is not like in the photos and they don't have a coffee machine but a machine that dispenses everything with blends

Needed to find somewhere at 10:30 at night after our train to Edinburgh was cancelled. Everywhere else was 150 - 250 and as a single parent it was an absolute life saver. Cost 50 quid, 16 for the taxi each way to the station. Arrived, it's obviously a budget accommodation. The lady on reception was lovely, sorted out our key, explained everything and showed us on our way. Got in the room, it was clean and tidy, bed was fairly comfortable, flat screen tv on the wall which we didn't use as it was late out of respect for other guests. There was coffee and a kettle available, which we also didn't use. The toilets, to be fair they weren't absolutely spotless shining convenience, however they didn't feel that bad, more really small, but I should eat less really lol. Didn't bother with the showers as I imagined they would be rubbish but can't really say. I slept through to 8am, however my son said he didn't get much sleep as two overgrown adult children were running and making a racket in the hallways. I explained to him to that in a budget accommodation it's more likely that you'll get young ones down for the weekend and it kind of goes with the territory. To be fair, there were signs everywhere asking for people to respect other guest during 11pm and 8am. You see how some people behave when drunk so it's difficult for the staff to control I can imagine. We were both happy to have somewhere safe to sleep for the night though that was the main thing so we were happy. Had breakfast in Toby carvery next door, got our stuff and asked for a taxi to be booked. The two ladies at the reception were lovely and sorted our taxi. I'd say it was a life saver! Thanks.
