The best room i have ever stayed in Thailand for 30 years ....in its price range , obviously. And including higher categories. Spacious room , big balcony , thoughtful decoration , good bed , nice traditional furniture in a quite good state . Super clean , good cupboard, spaces and drawers to organise things. Everything has a quality appearance.
The building itself is well designed with open corridors and open reception area. Very good pool sorrounded by tropical vegetation . Although located near the main road, it is not noisy at all , with the exception of a few Moto GP drivers in the night .
now comes the BUT ......basically nothing is within walking distance , no shop , no restaurant , no massage , not mentioning the beach . Taxi is very expensive, Grab does not serve the area. Without means of transport , i would have felt quite lost there . Another point are the stray dogs at night in the remote street ...i would not feel good to walk there in the night .

A good hotel with affordable prices almost in the center. It's a bit far from the beaches, the hotel is located on the main highway, but we realized it. In principle, it's not a problem, the main thing was the price/quality ratio, since we stayed here only to visit Similan. Good breakfasts, swimming pool, very spacious room with a huge terrace. Staying here left positive emotions!

Overall, this accommodation is not suitable for families. The bathroom is narrow, the toilet is not convenient to use. The hot and cold water system is very difficult to adjust. The facilities are not very complete. The hotel is a loft style. There are many dangerous points. If you have children, you have to be careful. My leg hit the edge of the bed and became bruised. There are amenities to use. The restaurant is a walk to the beach. The food is acceptable but not much. The front desk is narrow, crowded, and there is no waiting area. But with this price, it is worth it. There is drinking water on every floor. In the room, there is only green tea bags. The bed is very soft, very comfortable to sleep. The TV has YouTube to watch. I like it very much.

Khao Lak is a small town and hence our expectations were not too high for the hotel rooms. However, the rooms are much better than the other budget hotels in the area.
When booking, I would advice you to take rooms with the highway view as they are bigger, recently refurbished and very positive.
1st floor rooms have no windows, which they have not advertised. Staff is friendly.
Very good location, next to the main road. Near local restaurants and 7 eleven Big C Major, good rooms, clean, soft beds, good air conditioning, very spacious room, in the morning there is coffee, local snacks to eat, worth recommending.
Still a place that gives a impression of service like we have returned home. Even if we wake up late Breakfast is less left Still trying to go to the kitchen to cook more food to eat What can make? Hurry to make it immediately It is a place that I want to go back and forth, like going home to relatives 🥰
Thiwson Beach Resort was breathtaking. Easily one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The view was incredible, pool was beautiful and the cabin was very comfortable. We had a delicious breakfast included in the extremely low cost for the room. I can not wait to visit again!

A good privacy hotel.
The rooms are very spacious.
There are many beautiful places nearby, but without transportation from the hotel will be problematic where to go - there is nothing ...
Very good service. The way up to the hotel is quite steep. If you don't dare to drive up, the staff can help you drive. The view is very beautiful. The bed is comfortable.

RRolfieAvoid Seascape Rooms Entirely - Lighthouse Works (If Upstairs!)
Our initial ”Seascape” room was uninhabitable:** overpowering mould/must smell caused breathing difficulties (tight lungs) within 30 minutes. Combined with noisy transformers outside, we fled immediately.
Staff moved us *free* to their ”Lighthouse” hotel across the road. **Beware the ground floor:** our Lighthouse room had the same severe damp/mould issue. **After one awful night, we paid extra to upgrade to a 3rd-floor sea view room.**
**This saved the stay:** The upstairs Lighthouse room was fresh, clean, comfortable (great beds/linen) with lovely views. Free water on each floor was appreciated. We extended from 5 to 7 nights here.
**Serious Issues Remain:**
1. **Seascape Building:** Avoid entirely - severe mould makes it unfit.
2. **Lighthouse Ground Floor:** Same mould/damp problem. **Only higher floors are acceptable.**
3. **Pool:** Excess chlorine on Day 1 bleached my wife's black leggings brown. Check levels before swimming.
**Bottom Line:** Only stay if you can *guarantee* an **upstairs room in the Lighthouse**. Never accept any Seascape rooms or Lighthouse ground floor rooms. The hotel must fix pervasive mould issues.
MMaksimBeautiful hotel located a few kilometers from Kao Lak resort.
The hotel is 5 spacious, comfortable bungalows located in a well-maintained secluded area on the bank of a small river.Peace and quiet! To the beach and big stores it is far away on foot, you need a motorcycle to get there without any problems. But this is just our theme: privacy and motorcycle! You can go not only to the nearest beach, but also to the beaches of Kao Lak, walk the streets of the resort, visit the national park with waterfalls ...
The design of the bungalows is a separate story. Each item of the interior is made by individual project and by our own hands. Our lodge was Mickey Mouse themed.
Perfect cleanliness! Delicious and beautiful breakfast served on the terrace.
And the most touching thing is the owners of this hotel, friendly, caring, involved. The impression that we came to visit relatives. We parted as friends)
Thank you for your hospitality! Next time without a doubt only to you!
GGuest Useramazing place combining everything that is best on the island, lots of nature which is everywhere. Beautiful large houses with an amazing view of the pool and the sea. I recommend it to everyone who wants to relax in an extraordinary quiet place, we will definitely come back there

RRadiumxPros of the hotel:
- located opposite 7/11 and the night market, 15 minutes from the beach;
- friendly receptionist;
- spacious room and bathroom, there is a wardrobe, safe, refrigerator, air conditioning, armchairs, coffee table, TV, kettle with tea and coffee, water, large bed, shower gel, soap, shampoo, dental kit in the bathroom;
- despite the location by the road, it is relatively good, you can relax, the noise is not very noticeable.
Cons of the hotel:
- very hard bed and uncomfortable pillows;
- for the first time in hundreds of bookings, we encountered the fact that for an extra blanket in the room they asked for an extra charge of 200 baht per day.
For me, because of the hard bed, the hotel did not fulfill its main task - to relax and sleep well. 2 nights without normal sleep. Plus, the strange story with the blanket is definitely not about the service.
AAnonymous UserStaying near the hornbill viewpoint was absolutely fantastic! This bungalow offered incredible convenience with motorbike rentals and longtail boat trips readily available right on-site. The delicious food from their kitchen was a real treat, and being able to get a massage just outside the office was such a bonus. Our room was spacious, smelled lovely, and the king-sized bed was exceptionally comfortable. The owner was incredibly polite and went out of their way to be helpful. All of this came at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserThe hotel staff speaks english and is very helpful. The villas are old and dated, internet access works only from the common area and you have plenty of stairs to climb. What this place has going for it is the location. It’s settled on a hillside and each little villa is overlooking the ocean combined with a tropical vegetation setting a beautiful accent. Unless you want to spend a fortune, there is no other place beating these views. I will come back.
GGuest UserWe stayed for one night as part of our cycling tour. We had a great time. Large common area and kitchen space. We were able to keep our bikes inside which is a dream for cyclists. The staff were friendly and helped us book accommodation further north for the following night. The double room was large and we had one with a private bathroom.
We also happened to stay on a Sunday and they have a huge market on the street outside with food etc.
