Le Méridien Towers Makkah

************* we had a very pleasant stay here in Le Meridien Towers Makkah. It’s not as crowded and the shuttle to Haram is 24/7 with hardly any waiting time when we want to board the bus to and from Haram. We were pleasantly upgraded by the hotel and they even gave us complimentary tea on our first night. As we reached very late at night, I was grateful that I’m able to get some quick snacks for my young child and that the shops remain open then. We didn’t ask for housekeeping to come and clean our rooms but they were attentive and prompt in their service. Insya Allah we may stay here again for our next umrah.

Hotel in a very good location, right in front of a shopping bazaar, everything nearby, next to McDonald's and KFC but also a d'ère restaurants..Aparthotel nothing special, just a little lacking in kitchen facilities, otherwise everything there..Service could be a bit better, I wanted to pay twice, only after I had called my broker and showed them my Paypal transfer did I get confirmation from the manager. So I had to wait with my family in the somewhat lavish foyer after an hours-long drive through the desert, there was no apology or anything like that..Never ever is my motto@@@@Miracle

We arrived pretty early which was fine I understand that rooms were not available but the receptionist went above and beyond offering us an alternative so we could check in early. That saved us and specially my mum who suffered from a 12h flight! Rooms were clean and big - special thanks to Akib, Safroz and Dilshad for being so attentive! I was worried about the transportation and 10/10 for the bus. Always on time and very convenient. It stopped at Gazah station. We found it far because my mum couldn’t walk long distances but we were provided with a free wheelchair 🤍 The only things that kept me from not giving a 10 is the breakfast, options were more for a lunch than breakfast, only coffee sticks instead of brewed. And that I was woken up at 4am (despite my sign in the door) to be given a cup of coffee I requested the day before. I understand that needs to be delivered but is okay to leave it at the door 🥲 Thank you and inchaAllah will be back to this same hotel!

The front desk staff is very nice and can communicate in English. The hotel facilities are a bit old, but the price is very cost-effective. There are many restaurants nearby and it is very close to the beach. You can walk to the beach and see the Jeddah fountain at night. There is a big supermarket across the main road with a full range of things. You can buy zimzim water and ajwan dates.

I recently stayed at Aluya Hotel in Jeddah and had a very positive experience. The hotel’s location is highly convenient, allowing easy access to popular attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas, making it an excellent base for exploring the city. Additionally, Aluya Hotel offers competitive rates, making it a great choice for travelers who want to stick to a budget without compromising on quality. The cleanliness of the rooms and common areas was also impressive, which is always a plus when traveling. Overall, if you're looking for a practical and affordable option in Jeddah, I highly recommend considering Aluya Hotel!

The place was clean and tidy, although I had a hard time finding the entrance of the hotel. I was not able to see the pool since I checked in late at night but next time I will be availing their amenities.

Highly recommended for solo travellers. I really enjoyed my stay here. Both the gentlemen at the reception were very helpful. Mr.Yazed (Morning) and Mr. Mohammed (Night). All essentials were provided: Bathroom Towels, Soap/Shampoo and Water Bottles, Coffee/Tea.The hotel is conveniently located 20 minutes uber ride from Airport and Jeddah Corniche. There is also a shopping mart (Danube) a few steps away from the hotel. Food delivery is available in the area Hungerstation (local food delivery app) worked the best. I recommend trying Kabsa (National Dish) from Al Romansiah restaurant.
Ewaa Express Hotel - Al Hamra

Quiet laid back Hotel. Big room. Relatively new bedding and towels. Nice design. There was a Microwave in the room which was surprising. Still a bit pricy for what is actually offered. Breakfast was good. The Wifi connection in the room was horrible which was really annoying , and they don't seem to be bothered about fixing it as they just send a worker to reset the router. Propably because it's not an issue for the mostly Saudi guests who already have their Data service, but if you are a visitor you will struggle with this.
Al Rayyan Tower

The hotel is conveniently located near the airport, which makes it highly recommended for travelers prioritizing proximity to transportation hubs. However, the breakfast options were quite limited during my stay, which could be improved to cater to a wider variety of preferences. Regarding facilities, the rooftop swimming pool offers a great view, adding potential value to the overall experience. Unfortunately, it was under maintenance during my visit, so I couldn't enjoy it.

Al Shate'e
A light air of racism covered up with incredibly strong smells of cleaning chemicals and oud or patchouli or smoke. The air control did not work in my room. The shower will flood your bathroom. The desk is too small to work at. The wait staff at the desk will gladly try to serve you if they care to understand, the help . staff avert your gaze when the wait staff are in view. Also the hot water is boiling and then lukewarm to cold within 10 minutes.
