3-Star Hotels in Oita Prefecture, Japan

My friend and I stay at this hotel for 3nights.  The hotel is very clean and staff were friendly. We very enjoyed  onsen there. The hotel breakfast was pretty good but It would be more better if they change like typeA & typeB every single day. We had to have same breakfast for the first 2days. 

This JR hotel is one of the most unique of all as it has a rooftop onsen (19-21F). It comes with a 150yen per pax per night charge when you stay here. 21F is gender separated outdoor onsen! Was a surprise as we did not expect it to be so nice with the current weather. Parking is 1000yen per night with the car park at the mall side and is linked to the hotel reception by an elevator. Location is superb for non-driving too as it is within 1 min walk from the JR Oita station. We used the onsen for all the nights we stayed. Super good value.

It's located in front of the station, so it's very convenient and easy to use. The room was cleaner than previous Route Inns, and there were no non-smoking rooms available so I got a smoking room, but the smell didn't bother me at all.

I wanted to walk slowly and have a look. There are many Koreans in Doudancho. The shops have been renovated, but the business is declining. There are not many people even when I walk to the river. The hotel is OK. There is a fat guy at the front desk who has poor service awareness and is dull.

Excellent!  A very big thumb up! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Awesome onsen, grand lobby, incredible seaview, unlimited drinks, excellent staff and clean facilities and places. Those are my descriptions to this hotel. I have a very pleasant stay with parents (aged 80+) and highly recommend! Surprising me is the front desk, can speak fluent English, Korean, etc. Special thanks to Harada san 👍🏻, she did a great job and arrange a shuttle to drive us to the airport bus stop.  Drivers are very kind as well! Breakfast is good, value for money, lots of choices, Japanese style( like sashimi rice, mackerel, salmon for grilled) and Western(toast, salad) are very fresh. Highly recommended! For dinner, this is 90 mins semi buffet style…. Nice to try, due to the “semi” set does not offer choices, and we don’t eat beef, Huy (restaurant staff) nicely offer to change to pork (takes 10 minutes to prepare) and take another 5-6 min to cook.  To me, a bit rush to get other food to finish, especially you are accompanied with disabled parents! Anyway, thanks to him, we got special menu - seafood, for my second night dinner. Honestly, the price is expensive, not worth for people don’t drink alcohol. But if you are an alcoholic, there is wide range of choices. cocktail, chardonnay, etc are soso! One “cons” is the location is a bit off from Beppu JR, if u drive, highly recommended, my case is the car break down (Toyota shop really disappointing) especially u carry aged 80+ disabled parents.

Very simple facility, but extremely clean. We stayed in Japanese style room, and it is very spacious. Shower is a bit small but it's definitely enough. As for locaiton, it is close to supermarket and mytiple restaurents in the small town. Definitely recommended to who ever travel to Usa.

오이타공항에서 약7km 북쪽 도로변에 위치하여 렌터카 이용시 접근성이 좋으며, 호텔은 조금 오래되었으나 수영장도 있어서 가성비는 좋은 편임. 3연박 조식포함으로 있었는데 간단한 부페식 조식이며, 3일 동안 메뉴가 똑같아서 조금 아쉬웠슴.

Location- 1 minute walking to Oita station. Room - Smaller than expected, cannot open an L size luggage. Bed is standard size. The room is clean Facilities - very comfy hot spring at the roof floor, you can take the Ramen afterwards Breakfast - nice Japanese style breakfast Overall it is highly recommended

I got off at Hita Bus Terminal and picked up and arrived comfortably. He took me to the Sapporo Beer Factory and walked around drinking beer, but you can go in 10 minutes! Washing with hot spring water was so good ㅎㅎㅎ I bought one because I liked the scrub! I thought I was eating Kaiseki and it was battered. It's a lot and it's really delicious! I want to bring my mom back later :)

The location is excellent. It is 5 minutes away from the exit of Beppu Station. It is very convenient to take a bus to Hell Hot Spring. It is not far from the sea. You can stroll around leisurely. The hotel's buffet breakfast is very rich. There is also late-night noodle in the evening. The taste is very good. After soaking in the hot spring, there is free ice cream. Children like it very much.
