3-Star Hotels in Special Region of Yogyakarta, Indonesia

First room was not good.. Air Conditioning has terrible sounding, bathroom door, towels were dirty. Then reported to receptionist. I met with higher personnel for the hotel, then I reported with condition of the room. Then she gave me a better room than the first one. But, still towels and bed linen are old and look dirty.

Good location, clean rooms, pleasant staff. Breakfast buffet has good quantity but food is low quality items. Almost no cheese, no oats or porridge, no yoghurt, coffee on one day was undrinkable, juices are mostly water with syrup. You can live off it but it is not nice. Go to karta cafe next door for much better food and the Malio Gelato across the street is very good. But aside from food, all was good, staff was so polite and helpful!

All staffs especialy the security upon arrival were superb! I had problem with the bed and the phone didn’t work. The staff came immediately to fix and help me to move to another room. Despite this issue, I would still recommend this hotel due to the superb service, cleanliness and the friendly fast response staffs. Only one note that they are very strict with check in and check out time.

Conveniently located right in front of the train station. Getting on the airport express train was a breeze for my early morning flight the next day. The hotel serve me its purpose. But not recommended for light sleepers as it tends to get super noisy with chaotic traffic, live music and non stop train announcements.

Pleasant stay If you're on a budget, this hotel is a good option. Room was clean, minimalist industrial interior, sufficient amenities, room a little bit dark, but still okay, no views outside the window Bathroom, no separate between shower and closet, so the bathroom will get wet and slippery, other than that, the bathroom quite spacious, so it's comfortable to bath Walking distance to Malioboro, didn't take breakfast, because i prefer local culinary.

Great location! The hotel is located across from the train station which actually has a number of simple eating places and a minimart. Malioboro walking street is only a block away. It is packed at night with locals and tourists out to see and be seen. There is a mall on Malioboro street about 4 blocks away with a number of simple places to eat and a grocery store. Grab is always available and can take you anywhere in town for a few $US. The room price was about $33 per night with breakfast included. Being across from the train station, the horns on the trains woke me up multiple times each night. The bed was comfortable, the TV was good, the shower had decent pressure, but the toilet had a smell. Towels and sheets were stained and showed their age. The hotel will only give you one key, so if you have two or more independent persons staying here, room access would be a headache. The is no mini-fridge. I saw no other non-indonesians except me staying here. Front desk personnel spoke English but limited. Seating at breakfast was way too limited for the number eating, and several times when I went back for more I returned to find people seated at my table and unable to communicate because of language. I just sat in any empty spot and continued eating which freaked them out although they pretended to not see me sitting there. The restaurant staff spoke no English at all so ordering eggs or drinks was tough, and I did not get what was desired a lot. The lobby, elevators, and hallways were clean and modern. I like this hotel and may stay here again based on the location and bed comfort, but will likely skip the breakfast and ask for better towels and sheets upon check-in. I will post a picture of the horribly stained chair in the room which I just covered with one of the stained towels.

I Loved this Hotel in the middle of City, they have affordable rate and kindly staff. Mrs. Ria from Housekeeping was so nice Person, she provide everything i need, even if i have request for extra bed near midnight. So apreciate for Housekeeping Team. Nice breakfast for Fnb Team, I loved your chicken porridge. Clear information for Miss Nadella, FO team. Clear pool side for Mr. Miarto and Engineer team. You have a fresh Swimmingpool. Also manager on duty yang sangat pro aktif. Im so satisfied Cheers

The room was quite big. Bathroom was okay. Overall clean and very basic. Got price-value. Can recommend for a short and basic stay.

It's quite close to all destinations in Yogyakarta city... The staff are all friendly... The condition of the room is good because it's New Year's so I understand that the price will go up, but overall I'm satisfied 😁

Stayed here twice in December. The hotel is located very near the Main Street of Malioboro while being away from all the noise and traffic. The staff are friendly and they remember the little details that you tell them. On the day of my first check-out, I inquired about airport transfer and said that I would make the booking upon my return. During my return check-in, they quickly updated me on my booking status even though I didn’t put in a formal request. I am impressed 😁

It's quite close to all destinations in Yogyakarta city... The staff are all friendly... The condition of the room is good because it's New Year's so I understand that the price will go up, but overall I'm satisfied 😁

been staying with Citihub for years since they're new. staff is friendly as always. but the hotel hasn't been maintained perfectly. we booked 3 room for like 4 nights and noticed few problems like showerhead not opening properly, dead AC remote, or the AC not working perfectly. but one thing that I can always count from Citihub is the cleanliness. and its comfort. hope they can fix these minor issue, but regardless, Im coming back next time we visit Jogja

The room is so comfortable, and the staffs are friendly and helpful. I tried the breakfast buffet and everything were so good also tasty. Don’t forget to try their best selling coffee menu, named KPR (Kopi Pasti Rindu). OMG that was taste so yummy! Porta’s location itself near with the touristy locations and culinaries. Recommended for solo traveler, with friends or family, and business trip. Definitely will be come back and stay at Porta if I’m at Jogja ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The receptionist are never smile, when i check in on March 7/20 @12.30 PM and i request for wake up call @5.00 AM to Lilis (GSA) for early morning flight but nobody set it up. So i wake up @5.32 AM and get hurry for it, i call the night shift incharge he said the wake up call is set up @10.20 AM, so funny. Its better i stay in small hostel with USD 5, with friendly staff and clean room. Because i will flight early morning so i have to stay near airport thats why i choose this terrible hotel without wake up call. I know you guys build this hotel near airport for the part of the guest who lookin for their flight so please be aware. Room is clean but many ants on the table when i put my bakpia they swarm it arround. Thanks for ”Good” service Johan

Strategic location close to supermarkets, malls, places to eat. Cheap price with satisfactory quality. There is netflix which makes it very comfortable. Very recommended for those who want to go to jogja in SCBD area. Nice experience will often book here. Comfortable pol. The service is okay and very friendly. The view is also top. The swimming pool is also clean

Best hotel for family staycation. This hotel has the best place for family. Their service is above and beyond. With some facilities that can indulge the guest experiences. In the back of their hotel, there is a kid place to hang out. Also, they completed their place with some animals, which is guest could feed them. Such as fish, sheep, and even a small ponytail horse. For the dining area, they open their buffet for breakfast from 6am to 10am on the 2nd floor. Surprisingly, they have popcorn, gellato, and even cottoncandy for the kids. Not forget, traditional food ,like gudeg, also serves to complete the dishes. For room, we booked a budget room. The room is a little bit small for a family with 1 kid.

No complaints mean ... hope that the facilities will be better in the future

this place is good to stay, feel like a home. i really recommend you guys to stay here for a short or long trip in jogja. the bed, bathroom, kitchen space, its a good place ever to stay. but the balcony need to maintenance up cleaness. please improve the cleaness of balcony, not too bad, but i reccomend you to improve the cleanness of balcony to increase the homy of this place

I've just for 2 nights and this is the best hotel and the good price. And the moment I arrived the welcome and service was good. The hotel is quite small and the rooms too, clean and tidy room but unfortunately it looks unmaintainned on furniture and wall, looks dull but the room size just adequate, you get what you paid. It doesn't have a water bottle but you can fill the tumblr (has been provided from the room) to refill at the dispenser. Breakfast is very limited option, only a few dishes, rice, noodles, and several fruits and bread. I can say the location is strategic because it is located at the end of Gejayan and in the middle of Ringroad, near to Condongcatur but far from the city / any landmark in Jogja Even though the hotel is small but the parking area is adequate, maybe I think it is quite huge and enough to park up to 20 cars and dozen of motorcycles. located on 1st floor near lobby, no basement.

I was very disappointed with the front office service here, when I asked politely to lend my room key for a day because the key was left at a friend's house and I was willing to be charged an additional fee because it was my fault. But they, with argument they just give me electricity lock, and they said to me the key on proses and i wait at room but nobody's come or call to give me the key that i ask until i ask my friend to come here to bring the key and take around 1hours. When I went to the receptionist, they were still talking. Sittings and didn't have an effort to make a key for me. I expect they make already.. So I have to be in the room 24 hours and not leave the room when my friend doesn't come here bring the key ? I live for the long term here

Clean hotel with good service on Jalan Adi Sucipto, Yogyakarta... This time I got a free upgrade to the Grand Mercure hotel because the ibis was being renovated. Recommended...

I stayed 2 days in this hotel Location: Yellow Star Ambarukmo located in Jl Laksda Adisucipto around 500 meters from Plaza Ambarukmo Room: the room is clean and nice Food: I got welcome to drink tea and bakpia, and this hotel gives you free evening tea too from 4 pm-6 pm and for the breakfast, they have Jogja traditional food and indomie too if you want. for the ice cream, this hotel has a lot of variants, you can take it. Facility: this hotel has a rooftop cafe, enjoy Jogja from to top. Staff/Service: The staff was so nice and kind.
