It is suitable for family. We choose tatami room, it’s a bit old. But we are ok as the price is good. Overall value for money. It come with lounge access for afternoon tea time and then happy hours at night with alcohol. The onsen is great! I will love to stay again!

The free ramen after soaking in the hot springs was delicious 😋. Breakfast was incredibly rich with lots of choices, including local specialties, definitely worth a try. The hot springs ♨️ were also very authentic and incredibly relaxing!

Qingliu Nunnery, true to its name, is like a clear spring in the city. From the moment you step into the lobby, you can feel the deliberate distance from the hustle and bustle—the interplay of light and shadow on the elegant facade, the subtle aroma of tea in the air, all unconsciously slow your pace. The guest rooms continue this tranquil aesthetic, simple yet warm. The bedding is soft and comfortable against the skin, and seasonal teas are prepared by the window—attentiveness is evident in every detail. Most precious of all is the perfectly balanced service, considerate yet unobtrusive. A dreamless night, waking to find true peace and quiet. Qingliu Nunnery is indeed a rare haven of tranquility in the city.

The hotel's location is super convenient, right at Hakata Station. You can directly access JR and Shinkansen lines from B1. Popular spots like Musashi Wagyu Rice are right across the street from the 1st-floor exit, and the famous sheep cheese toast is just a 6-minute walk away. The hotel's cleanliness is also excellent, and the rooms are quite spacious for Japan. It's definitely a top choice for family trips!

Excellent location with a convenience store downstairs, and plenty of coffee shops and restaurants nearby. It's super convenient for shopping, getting around, and business trips. The large public bath is also fantastic. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Summary: don't stay here. You've been warned. I've been to many capsule hotels in Japan. None were as horribly bad and overpriced as this one. Good: close to the station and the staff do what they can within their (very confined) perceived limits Bad: no sound insulation so you get to enjoy ambient sounds like traffic, trains and other patrons scuffling about during nighttime. The mattress is moldy, dirty and super thin so it doesn't feel comfortable unless you're used to sleeping on a moldy floor. The layout makes absolutely no sense at all. They tried cramming in as many capsules as possible in one small area and called it a day. 2 toilet stalls for 62 capsules? Laughable. The bath area is minuscule so you're queueing just to get a cramped dip. Lockers are minuscule and the luggage area is right next to the reception so you have to cross public area just to get some stuff out of your luggage. No space to unpack in peace either. I'd rather have them drop the breakfast and bathing area in favour of fixing the one thing they're supposed to deliver: a good night's sleep. Consider this place a last resort, not a proper stay.

The hygiene, facilities, and service were all excellent. Everything felt new and very clean. The staff were warm and patient, and could communicate in English. The room itself was also very spacious. The breakfast was good. You can also book dinner, which is a buffet for over 200 yen per person, though I felt there wasn't much to eat. There's a public bathhouse, but all the pools are the same, the temperature isn't very high, and it wasn't crowded. (The vending machine outside the bathhouse clearly stated it accepted 1000 yen notes, but it actually only took coins – that was a bit annoying). The hotel is backed by a small shopping center. There's no laundry room inside the hotel itself; you have to use the self-service laundry facilities at the shopping center. Location: It's on an artificial island, so it's definitely quite far from the city center. It takes about 40 minutes to get to Tenjin by walking and then taking a bus, or about 200 RMB by taxi. If you're looking to shop, it's really not convenient. However, for those who don't like staying in the city, it's extremely comfortable. This island is very well-developed despite having very few people, with excellent facilities and a very open feel. It's very pleasant to take a walk at night, and there's also a 24-hour supermarket. If you like the sea, ports, and container terminals, you'll find the scenery absolutely beautiful. It seems to be close to a seaside park, but it rained for several days in a row, so I didn't get to visit it. There's a free shuttle bus to Chihaya Station, running once an hour. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit.

This was my first time staying here. I think all the necessary amenities for a stay are provided. The highlight seems to be that planes fly directly overhead. They are quite close. However, there are no flights after 10 PM, so it's not a problem. On the other hand, it faces a busy main road with a lot of traffic, and there is noise, especially from speeding vehicles and police sirens. The building looks old, so the soundproofing may be insufficient. The nearest convenience store is a bit of a distance away, as you have to cross the main road. However, there is a Don Quijote nearby, so you can do some light shopping. The spa has a small bathtub. The sauna might be full with just three people in it. Swimsuits are required, but you can rent them for 500 yen. There are changing rooms, but no toilets or water dispensers. There is a limousine parked at the main entrance, and it seems that it can be used for pick-up and drop-off, but I didn't confirm this. It's supposed to be a resort, but it feels like only this area has a resort feel. There are some shared cooking facilities, so it might be suitable for groups.

5 star review Grand Hyatt Fukuoka was a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. The hotel is directly connected to Canal City Hakata, which makes it extremely convenient for shopping, dining and walking around Fukuoka. The location is excellent, especially for tourists who want everything nearby without needing to travel too far. The room was clean, spacious and well maintained, with a very comfortable bed and a relaxing atmosphere after a long day out. Service from the hotel staff was professional, polite and attentive throughout the stay. Check in and check out were smooth, and the overall hospitality felt premium. Overall, Grand Hyatt Fukuoka gave us a very pleasant 5 star hotel experience. Great location, comfortable room and excellent service. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Fukuoka.

very normal hotel and maybe a bit old. fixed bed lamps and women's onsen shelf doors are tilted. onsen hair dryer is also not of high quality. there is no lounge or desks to work in both the lobby and the bedroom so might not be suitable for business trips. im not sure why the rating is so high because nothing particularly stood out to me.
