A short 5-minute drive up Skyline provides views of Sleeping Lady and the Eagle River skyline, as well as amazing views of the Northern Lights when visible in winter. Take a 15-minute drive to Anchorage where the Fur Rondy is held every February or catch the train to someplace you've never been. Go south to Girdwood and visit Alyeska, or the Wildlife Conservation Center, or further south to Seward, Kenai, or Homer to enjoy the ocean.
