Somerset Pattaya

Great location! It's within walking distance to the beach and right across from a shopping mall with a large supermarket downstairs, making shopping super convenient. The room is spacious with new facilities, a comfortable bed, and a kitchen and washing machine. There's also a kids' play area similar to a soft play zone next to the restaurant, which is perfect for families with children. If you're driving, the very last stretch of road to the hotel can be a bit congested, but it's a short section. Overall, highly recommended!

We stayed in room 502, a three-bedroom suite with a central swimming pool. There's also a large red pool right in front of the room. It sleeps 6 people, with an additional 2 allowed, totaling 8 people. There's a bathtub in the room. Complimentary amenities provided by the hotel included 6 macarons, 1 Happy Birthday cake, 6 glasses of punch, an excellent minibar, and a baby cot. We even got extra drinking water upon request before checking out, which was great, but you need to inform the hotel beforehand. Booking through Trip.com allowed for a very late check-out. We checked in at 3 PM and checked out at 3 PM, which was fantastic. **Atmosphere**: Lots of trees, very refreshing. **Cleanliness**: Very clean, and the air conditioning was wonderfully cold. **Hotel Location**: Right by the road. **Breakfast**: Served in a large room, delicious, with plenty of food options and a neutral taste. **Service**: Absolutely excellent! All staff members were polite from check-in to check-out. The driver service was always available and very helpful. I highly commend them! **Activities**: There are many large swimming pools, including a saltwater pool. The activities were great, and the kids had so much fun and were very happy. The staff were helpful in finding things for them. There are bicycles to ride, a Sen Onsen, a fitness center, and a sauna.

We got the floor we wanted, and the whole family was very happy! The hotel service is particularly attentive to families with children; the staff are gentle and kind. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, with stable and effective air conditioning and hot water. The public facilities are great for kids, the beach is super close, and the breakfast is plentiful. The overall environment is quiet and clean. The staff were quick to respond to our requests, and we didn't encounter any issues throughout our stay. The facilities are new and well-maintained, and the service is thoughtful and attentive. This is definitely our top choice for a family trip to Pattaya, highly recommended!

Excellent hotel. It's a 5-minute walk to the beach, and there are plenty of cafes and bars nearby. The small night market is also just a 5-minute walk away. The hotel has two small pools and a restaurant with reasonable prices. The breakfast was delicious, with rice, various meats, sausages, pancakes, yogurt, dried fruits, and fresh fruits like pineapple, watermelon, and papaya. The only thing missing was pastries. The room had a bathtub, a balcony, bathrobes, and an umbrella. The cleaning was good (for Thailand). Overall, I recommend this hotel.

We stayed here in July 2026. The location is super, but there's currently construction happening right next door for a large hotel. While the noise wasn't too bad, construction dust was an issue. We had a car and parked it in the garage, but every morning it was covered in dust. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but quite small; we would have preferred something bigger. Also, there was no kettle, no glasses, and no cups. The pool was a letdown. While most pools smell of chlorine, this one had an odd, vinegary smell, like some kind of chemical agent was present. We didn't swim in it for the last two days of our stay.

We booked this hotel for a two-night stay, arriving late around 22:00. While we originally booked a small twin room with no balcony, we decided to upgrade to a Junior Suite with a balcony upon arrival. 🛏️ The Room & Comfort The Good: The room is exceptionally large and completely pest-free (no bugs, roaches, or bad smells). The bed is excellent, featuring a large, comfortable mattress with fresh white bedding and a warm blanket. Sockets are conveniently located in every corner. The Bad: Our second-floor balcony sat directly above a designated smoking area. In the shower, it was hard to make the water just warm, it was always either too cold or too hot. 📺 Appliances & Tech WiFi: Did not work upon arrival, though staff resolved the issue by the second day. Television: Very old, non-smart TV with no Netflix, YouTube, or international channels. The screen flickered constantly, making it look like a bad 90s video filter. Air Conditioning: Old and noisy, but it successfully cooled the room down very quickly. Kitchenette: Includes a microwave and a stove, but no pots or frying pans are provided. You must bring your own cookware if you plan to use the stove. 🍳 Dining & Breakfast Served buffet-style and tasted amazing. Features plenty of eggs, chicken, pork, fresh/cooked vegetables, fresh fruit, and baked goods. But there were no seafood or fish available. 🌳 Hotel Grounds & Location Ambiance: Very cozy, traditional Asian-style property decorated with beautiful elephant statues, koi carp ponds, and fragrant blossoming trees. Unbeatable location. A 7-Eleven is less than a 1-minute walk away. Jomtien Beach and the main bus terminal are both a short 5-minute walk. Local songthaew run directly past the hotel. 🔄 Verdict We would happily stay here again for a short-term visit, but the outdated electronics and shower issues might make a long stay frustrating

Overall, it's good! Perfect for those on a budget who still want a beautiful, healing place. The Lanna-style decor is lovely, and the swimming pool is huge and great for fun. The only downside is the location, which is quite far from the city center and food hubs.

I recently stayed at the Welcome World Beach Resort & Spa in Jomtien Beach, Pattaya, and I'd definitely recommend it. The hotel is located on Jomtien Beach, just across a small street from the ocean. It's surprisingly quiet despite being in a lively area. The rooms are very spacious, and the twin beds are quite generous, about 1.25 meters wide each, so it didn't feel cramped even with two kids. The public areas of the hotel are also pretty good. There are three swimming pools, which kept the kids entertained for an entire afternoon. Around the hotel, you'll find 7-Eleven, snack stalls, and plenty of restaurants, making it very convenient. Most of the guests here are Russian, with very few Chinese visitors. Consequently, the breakfast largely caters to Western tastes, which wasn't quite to my liking. Overall, for the price, it's an excellent choice, especially for families with two children.

The hotel may need to improve its advertising and provide more accurate information. I went to the 7th floor, but unfortunately it was not accessible because it had been completely damaged by a fire. The swimming pool was also disappointing. There were no towels available, and if you asked for one, you had to pay extra. Overall, the hotel was not bad, but it definitely needs more work and improvement.
