"As a transit hotel, Beijing Yuanhang International Hotel (Capital Airport New China International Exhibition Center branch) far exceeded our expectations in every way, and we had a fantastic stay. We were transiting from Yining through Beijing Capital International Airport and heading back to Taipei, China. We arrived at 2:30 AM and called the hotel; shortly after, the free shuttle arrived at Exit 5 of Terminal 3. The driver was steady behind the wheel and very polite. The check-in experience was wonderful. Noticing that we had mobility issues, the front desk staff proactively upgraded our room and arranged one close to the elevator. The actual room looked just like the photos on Trip.com—no filters or exaggeration. Although the room was near the elevator, we barely heard any noise from other guests or the elevator itself. It was very quiet, and we slept soundly. Several other thoughtful details left a deep impression on us: during check-in, the front desk proactively helped us schedule our airport drop-off time. If not for her reminder, we almost would have forgotten. Afterwards, a staff member proactively helped carry our carry-on luggage and escorted us to the room. Honestly, you rarely encounter such attentive service even at hotels three times the price. Forty minutes before our departure, the hotel even called to remind us, just in case we overslept—another major plus. At check-out, we received a small gift of steam eye masks. The shuttle ride back to the airport was smooth from start to finish, and the staff helped load our luggage. As we were leaving, two staff members stood like airport ground crew, waving goodbye as our shuttle drove away. For an expensive city like Beijing, getting this level of top-notch service at such a price point is incredible value for money. If we transit through Capital Airport again next time, we won't hesitate to choose Beijing Yuanhang International Hotel (Capital Airport New China International Exhibition Center branch) once more."

"Apart from the renovation which we were told beforehand, the room we had was dark (probably because it was a windowless room), humid, aircon wasn’t strong but they provided a fan. Could smell urine even with the toilet seat covered, toilet door was closed, to a point that i was awaken by the foul smell. Had to spray perfume to have it barely covered. Ventilation was super bad. Cons aside, service was good, fridge in room had free drinks. Would recommend to book a window room if you had to even though friend that stayed in the window room said it was bad too. There’s a mall few minutes walk away which was a plus. Good view on the reception floor too."

"The room was very spacious, which was great for traveling with kids – they could easily jump rope inside. The service was excellent. They gave my child a small national flag, which was a lifesaver. The room was quiet, and I slept really well at night. I booked a vintage double room, which had an antique charm and a great sense of history. It’s just over 1 km walk to Tiananmen Square and super convenient to various subway stations like lines 7 and 8. The only downside: the shower was in a bathtub, and I don't really like showering in bathtubs. Having to stand in the tub to shower wasn't ideal for me."

"The room was quite satisfactory, offering views of planes taking off and landing at T2 airport. The soundproofing was decent, and the beds were very clean. I'd say it offers good value for money. Plus, there's a laundry room on the first floor, which is very convenient. They also provide a shuttle service to T2, which was extremely helpful for us."

"I stayed here for one night to catch a 9:30 AM flight, and it was during the Mid-Autumn Festival, so being able to use a pre-paid voucher for this price felt like decent value for money. The hotel is very close to the airport. For pickup, you go to Gate 4 and then call the front desk; my actual wait time was 6 minutes. For drop-off, there's a shuttle every half hour. I didn't try the pool. The gym equipment was basic but adequate, and there were four washers and four dryers in the self-service laundry area next to it. The Chinese restaurant had good food and even gave a complimentary fruit platter, though service was a bit slow even when it wasn't busy. The most frustrating part of my stay was the soundproofing. I specifically chose this hotel because recommendations said it had great soundproofing. However, it's a courtyard-style building, and even with my door closed on the third floor, I could hear children screaming from the basement level and the clinking of dishes from the restaurant. Then, I was woken up at 6 AM by people talking as they walked past my door. Also, while the bathroom, shower, and sink are separated, all the doors are transparent. This could be inconvenient if you're staying with family or friends and are in a rush."

"Fantastic We stayed at the Universal Studios Grand Hotel as a family of five, including a young child, booking the Kung Fu Panda Suite and an additional queen room. There is so much to love about this hotel! The location beside Universal Studios is unbeatable, the theming is fantastic, and both rooms were absolutely spotless. The views were beautiful, the beds incredibly comfortable, and despite being so close to the park, the hotel was wonderfully quiet. Room amenities were excellent, with plenty of complimentary bottled water. Room service was incredible, and all the staff we encountered were lovely. Our biggest frustration was the limited food options outside park hours. We couldn't access CityWalk early in the morning until security opened, which effectively left us with only the hotel breakfast options. The buffet was quite expensive, particularly for a family, and the alternative was room service. The hotel café didn't open until 10am and closed at 6pm, meaning there was nowhere convenient to grab a quick snack or basic supplies. There also isn't much within walking distance unless you can access CityWalk. These are relatively small frustrations compared to how wonderful the hotel itself was, but they are worth knowing before booking, particularly when travelling with children or visiting from overseas. Overall, I'd rate our stay 4.8/5. We would absolutely stay again, but next time we'd be better prepared for the breakfast arrangements, understand how to order room service as international visitors, and plan ahead for snacks and essentials. A beautiful hotel and an excellent choice for visiting Universal Studios Beijing!"

"Great location and excellent value for the comfort and function.  Good Restraunts on site w a bar, Japanese and Hunan/canton all on offer- and there are many food places within a block. Very walkable.  It was 15-20 min taxi to all the big attractions like temple of heaven, shopping etc.  front desk English speakers made things go smoothly.  The biggest surprise was in-room washer dryer- I left with all clean clothes-cycle took 3hrs but start, sightsee and clean clothes!!"

"I came to Beijing for a concert and always wanted to stay at an Qiuguo hotel. Luckily, there was a new branch opening right near the concert venue. The newly opened hotel has excellent and complete facilities, it's very clean and hygienic. The front desk service was particularly good. I'll definitely stay here again next time."

The check-out process was simple and quick, supporting express check-out without room inspection, which saved a lot of waiting time. Overall, my stay was relaxed and hassle-free."
