Cleaning wasn't quite finished when we checked in, and I was amazed to see the housekeeper literally leaning down to check the carpet from an angle for any stray hairs—such an incredible attitude and attention to detail👍! This is the largest and best hotel within the scenic area, fully stocked with all the complimentary amenities, plus free drinks in the minibar and fresh fruit on our first day. Highly recommended if you are traveling with elderly family members: it's conveniently located right between the main entrance and the core attractions. The back gate is just a 5-minute walk to Youyou Dachuan, and this is the only hotel that offers free shuttle buses to all attractions and the visitor center. The shuttles run every 5 minutes, making it super convenient and saving our elderly relatives from walking too much. The hotel also has an exclusive VIP viewing platform for the Longxing Shuixiu show and shuttled us directly to the special VIP entrance before the show started—a fantastic perk! Just remember to book it a day in advance via their mini-program👍. Best of all was the breakfast buffet: an extensive spread featuring noodle soups, wontons, soy milk, jellied tofu, and a great mix of Chinese and Western pastries. Our family thoroughly enjoyed breakfast both mornings👍. The butler was always available online to help with any questions. We were truly impressed with the service!"

"The hotel is in a great location. The basement parking is convenient. It is right next to the Tuanyu Scenic Area. The room has a lake view. There are many places to eat, drink and have fun nearby. The facilities are a little old (the triangle socket in front of the long table is loose and damaged and cannot be used). The hygiene in the room needs to be improved (the bathroom floor tiles are sticky and there are hairs on the bed). The room is not soundproof. If you book on Ctrip, you will be charged a deposit of 500 yuan..."

"This is a great hotel. The price during the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday wasn't expensive at all, much better than the inexplicably overpriced and unclean B&Bs around. We stayed in a family room with our child, and it had a separate small bed, so both adults and children could rest well. It's not far to drive to nearby hiking trailheads, and there are some nice family-friendly routes. If it rained, visiting the nearby Tao Er Chang (a ceramic factory, presumably) was also a good option. In the evening, I even went to the gym for some incline training; they had plenty of equipment, suitable for barbell squats or leg extensions. Also, the front desk lady, Xiao Jing, was very friendly and patient with our child, highly recommend her!"

"The hotel is located less than 10 kilometers from Yixing Station, with major shopping centers like Wanda Plaza and Babaiban nearby. Yixing Museum is also conveniently within walking distance. However, popular attractions such as the Bamboo Sea and Pottery Factory No. 2 are quite a distance away. Our room was very spacious and offered an unbeatable view. On the downside, the facilities felt a bit dated – for instance, there were no charging outlets by the bed, suggesting the room hasn't been updated in quite some time. The elevators were also quite noisy, which even light sleepers might find noticeable late at night. Breakfast is served on the 60th floor. The selection remained largely identical throughout our two-day stay. Do note that children taller than 1.1 meters are charged 58 RMB for breakfast."

The only regret was that I didn't book the travel photoshoot in advance, so there were no slots left, and I missed out.
