This place was absolutely magical, because I woke up each day to the gorgeous views of the mountains and valley. Because the hotel is in the mountains, you will have to take a taxi down to the center of town. The hotel arranged the taxi service for us (50 RMB). I knew I would need a taxi before booking the hotel, but I believed the extra cost of the taxi was worth the location, and I was right. It was nice being in a serene location and having a chance to connect with nature. The room was extremely clean and the staff was incredibly friendly. Breakfast was provided at no additional cost at 8:30 a.m.- 9:30 a.m. and was a great way to warm up during those cold mornings. There is a dinner menu available. We ordered a few simple things from the dinner menu, because we packed snacks. However, the things we did buy from the dinner menu were delicious.

The place is in Shuangdiao Village, far from the bus station and attractions, so you can't walk there, and there's no walking path. The owner arranged a driver, and each trip cost RMB 50 — a bit expensive (minus point) . However, it's great for mountain views and quiet time. Bring light luggage, as there are stairs to your room. The room even has a projector for movies. The food was nice. I loved the fresh veggies, and they let me add more for free. Breakfast was filling, lunch was noodles, and dinner was a tasty herbal chicken soup pot. The warm and friendly service made the stay comfortable.

Good environment

The owner was very nice!! I slept very comfortably, the place was very clean, and you can see the mountains as soon as you open the door. Overall, the experience was great, and they even proactively explained some precautions afterward.

We initially booked the hotel because of the view from the room, and it was indeed beautiful. However, the owner's warmth and service were what truly impressed us. When some of us experienced severe altitude sickness, the owner immediately went to find medication and shared his experience. As for the food, the flavors suited our tastes perfectly, and the portions were generous. We loved the yak hotpot we ordered on our first night! The owner even gave us complimentary milk tea. We ate at the hotel again on our second night, and the owner was very approachable and willing to discuss things with us. The breakfasts were also different each day. Overall, I would definitely choose this place again next time I travel. Highly recommended!

A very comfortable guesthouse, clean and with beautiful scenery. I woke up to a view of lush greenery, and it was very peaceful. The yak hotpot was good.

Halfway up the mountain, the scenery is unbeatable, the service attitude is superb, the breakfast is simple but nutritious enough to fill you up, the wild cherries on the mountain are just ripe, and they are very beautiful in red. The boss also helped me book the tickets

The room is fully equipped with everything you need. It was very comfortable. You can enjoy the scenery during the day and the stars at night. The location is especially good for those who want to take photos. There is a terrace in front where you can take photos freely. It is a beautiful and convenient accommodation. This was my first solo trip to Western Sichuan. I experienced altitude sickness after leaving Shuangqiaogou during the day and arrived at the hotel. The owner was incredibly kind. He greeted me at the door and helped with my luggage. Seeing my altitude sickness, he immediately invited me to the restaurant to warm myself by the fire and brewed various homemade teas to help alleviate my symptoms. The next day, upon returning to the hotel from Shuangqiaogou, they again offered roasted apples, brewed tea, and even gave me Rhodiola rosea. I felt increasingly full sitting by the fire. The owner's wife was also very kind. Knowing I was changing my plans to return to Chengdu, she gave me various travel suggestions and optimized my itinerary. She was very helpful. The room was also very nice, with a terrace offering a great view the next morning. The main drawbacks are its distance from town; a taxi ride up and down the mountain costs 40 yuan per person (20 yuan per person for a group), and the altitude is relatively high (3200 meters, those prone to altitude sickness should be aware). In terms of viewing, the boss's B&B is the highest one on the hillside. The view can be said to be unbeatable. Even if you don't go to the scenic spot, staying in the B&B is also a very good choice. In terms of hardware, bedding and various heating facilities are all in place. Each room has a small terrace and a large space, making the stay quite comfortable. In terms of service, the boss and the boss's wife were very enthusiastic and tried their best to help us with car booking. The boss's wife was a diligent and lovely girl. The room was kept very tidy. We stayed there for three consecutive days and the room was cleaned every day when we returned. Very satisfied and would recommend friends to stay here

Excellent service and convenient transportation

Very good. Although the road up is a bit difficult to drive, the scenery is really good. The room is clean and the bed is warm and there are blankets. It's boring at night in this place, and there is a projector, which is really good. The view from the terrace was also great. There were no residents next to or above us that day, so we were quite satisfied with the privacy. The grilled yak beef I ordered for dinner was a surprise. It was also delicious when eaten together with the crispy and sweet dish that I don’t know what it was called! The butter tea is also delicious, and the chili noodles with potatoes are also delicious. There is also a paid oxygen concentrator in the room, which helped me relieve the altitude headache. Very satisfying stay
