The hotel's location is quite good—it's within walking distance to the Bell Tower. There are also plenty of local eateries and shops nearby, making dining and shopping very convenient. Unfortunately, the road was under construction during my stay, which made the surroundings a bit dusty. The room was generally clean, though one downside was that my blanket seemed a bit dirty, possibly due to improper washing. And one thing I was impressed with was that the hotel receptionists were very nice and polite, both when I checked in and when I left.

The location within the city walls makes it convenient to get to popular tourist attractions. For example it was about a 30 minute walk to the city bell and city wall entrance or you could call a didi and it will be about 15. The hotel room itself was pretty clean, but had a smell of cigarettes. This is common to most hotels in China so it's not a big deal, but if you are not used to the smell or don't like it there is that. The staff doesn't really speak english, but with some chinese they are all nice and helpful. I didn't purchase breakfast, but when I went down to the service desk they said that I did have breakfast included. Overall a pretty nice cheap option for when you are in Xi'an.

The hotel was clean, in a great location and had wonderful service. Would stay again.
