Overall, my stay at Courtyard by Marriott Xi’an North was pleasant — the facilities, cleanliness, and room quality were excellent, and the staff were polite and professional. Everything in the hotel is well maintained, and the environment feels comfortable and modern.
However, the check-in process took quite a long time. I understand that guests in the executive suite are allowed a late check-out until 2 PM, but the cleaning of those rooms takes about an hour or more. This means that if the previous guests delay their departure, the next guests (like me) may not be able to check in until well after 3 PM.
Because of this delay, my schedule for the whole afternoon was affected as I had to wait in the lobby. I hope the management can consider stricter control on late check-outs or faster room-turnover coordination, so that incoming guests don’t have to wait beyond the normal check-in time.
Otherwise, it’s a very nice hotel and I would love to come back again if the check-in process becomes smoother.

The room was fantastic, and it was immaculately clean. The service was also excellent. However, for younger guests, the facilities felt a bit lacking in smart features, particularly the absence of screen mirroring. Apart from that, everything else was perfect.

Facilities: The facilities are a bit dated but perfectly acceptable, especially considering the hotel's age.
Service: The front desk staff were incredibly unprofessional. I've stayed here multiple times, always booking a corner room (the one with the sofa bed). I even reminded them to check my previous stay history/preferences, yet they still assigned me the wrong room two or three times. The follow-up service was also incredibly poor! The front desk really needs to pay closer attention to guest details and follow internal guidelines (perhaps 'P3').

The room decor is quite unique, definitely in keeping with the Marriott brand style, as it's one of their properties. The staff were very friendly. They knew we were tourists and thoughtfully placed four bottles of water in our room – a small gesture, but much appreciated. I had booked three rooms and specifically requested them to be together at the front desk. I was told they had been arranged as such. However, even though they were on the same floor, they were quite spread out, which was inconvenient for a family traveling together. Breakfast was quite extensive, with a good variety of food. My only minor gripe is that the main dishes rarely changed; only a few vegetable options were rotated. I'd suggest they offer more variety at the live noodle station. The hotel's executive lounge is excellent. You can enjoy afternoon tea or coffee there in the afternoon, which is a definite highlight. Another nice touch is that the front desk on the third floor has direct access to the trendy bookstore next door.

Comfy hotel not far from the centre. It has a nice laundry service, friendly stuff and delicious buffet breakfast. The view could be a little bit better, me and my girlfriend were given a room with a view on a car parking :( but there was a nice activity to write 汉字 and lobby bar. Plus the stuff gave us travel adapters to work on our computer. Super friendly and welcoming. Loved our staying in here.

I stayed Hotel for two days with my mom and it was sooooo good! Especially the Chief Concierge Mr. Leo Li and the Front Desk Mr. "Gao" (I'm sorry if I spelled the name wrong) was very kind. Mr. Li helped a lot when we tried to get a taxi, find touristic places, and carry heavy luggage. Due to his kind support, it was also comfortable for us to lend our luggage to the concierge for almost a whole day at check out day. And he also speaks English!
Moreover, Mr. Gao also helped us a lot during our stays as we were not good at Chinese, so he slowly and clearly spokes for us, which were easy for us to understand.
And all the food - including breakfast, happy hour, and afternoon tea was so good and we want to visit again when we come back to Xi'an. Thanks to all the staff from the hotel and I strongly recommend you visit this hotel!!

My experience during this hotel stay was very pleasant, and I especially want to thank the concierge, Leo Li He, for his kind assistance. Marriot's hotel standard is always up there. From the atmosphere to the service to the room and the amenities are all very good ! The only thing for me is the location for this particular hotel, it is slightly far from the city centre. But overall an enjoyable stay !
