Pleasant hotel on outskirts of Whitstable Quiet with polite, helpful staff 😁

Where do I start. Firstly the room as expected was clean and tidy, which I’ve come to expect with Premier. We arrived just before dinner and decided to eat there, as meals are usually ok. I know they are making changes but the food was terrible. My wife and I had fish and chips, cold chips and powdery tasting fish. My mother had chicken goujons which were like rubber. Coffee was tasteless. Moving on to the morning after a good sleep as we were very tired after a long journey. Shower, ours was cold, we could not get hot water. This was remedied after talking to the reception. Breakfast. We were booked in for 9am. There was no cooked breakfast until nearly 9.45am and because everyone was waiting was gone in a flash so another wait until more was cooked. The only other time we ate there was the last morning which was cooked on request and had to wait 1hr for it. I must add that I think it was all down to being under staffed. The poor lad having to book people in was also taking orders being a waiter and having to clean tables. This guy should be given a medal. I asked at reception if we could change rooms due to trouble for the ladies getting in and out of the bath. This was never addressed, consequently my wife had a fall on the last morning. Lastly you now get two different WiFi signals one is free the other as usual for greedy businesses wasn’t. The free speed was limited to 0.8mb/s Terrible. So after many years of using Premier inns, this will be my last.

Shower trickles out unable to have a proper shower or wash hair. Told receptionist who said they would get someone to look at it but nothing was done. Dirty and rusty bottles in bathrooms (soap & shower gel) Basic rooms No plug socket next to bed Don’t waste your money

No AC (Room table fans as supplied not sufficient) No charge point for EV No decent restaurant, only microwave food available on limited menu. Be prepared travel out for decent evening meal. (although not an issue as there are plenty in Whitstable). Rooms very basic, limited furniture, nowhere to place clothes. NB: The new salon feature is good for breakfast.

The room was to hot, no air con to cool you down only had a fan which did nothing to keep the room cool, food wasn't great, asked for room to be cleaned and only made bed but didn't empty bin or change the sheets, windows you could not open to let in more fresh air, beds were not great to sleep in, i would not go back there again.

We had a fab stay here. Easy check in followed by a lovely day in Whitby, 20 minute walk downhill. Room was warm but I booked it knowing there was no air con. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful, staff were all happy and polite. Would definitely stay again!

the adjacent pup closed over a year ago. premier inn converted some rooms into a breakfast/dinner area with kitchen. it works well as a breakfast room but fails for evening meals. awful nights sleep. no aircon so room temperature very high despite two fans running all night. suggest booking a hotel with aircon.

The staff were really friendly, check-in was a breeze, and breakfast was lovely. I was a bit disappointed that the pub next door is no longer open — it would’ve been a nice touch. That said, the location is great, just a 5-minute cab ride into town.

Friendly lady on reception. No welcome. Clean room check in was 11am payed £15. Finally checked in at 11.50am. Aldi just around the corner. Large store , m and s. Foodhall , beware if walking from train stn. It's a longish walk some uphill steep.most flat. Room was 28c , too warm window open a bit. Need car for beach and town centre. Booked 9 nights. Reduced for more than 3 nights. Lovely lady helpful in Aldi staff. Bit outdated from outside.needs updating 4 out of 5 stars.

Good afternoon in reference to our 3 night stay at your Whitstable Premier from the 27th/30th June, we encountered a few issues the first night we were kept awake most of the night with constant banging of doors etc, we only managed to get a couple of hours sleep, the room we were allocated ( no 100 ) seemed to have been extended with the window size not adequate for that size room, also looking out of the window to the left is the smoking area where at 6am two mornings we could here people talking ( I’m a smoker ) but this area seems too close to this room. We also like to watch the Morning/Evening news the Remot Control was not working went to reception and was given some new batteries, replaced them still not working went back to reception given another Remote still not working gave up then. The following day we reported the noise overnight to reception spoke to young lady at reception, her response was there was a problem at the rear of the hotel but not our side no one else has complained, was I lying No! , she said I should have spoke to the night porter not at 2/3 am in the morning, she did not seem overly concerned gave me a card with a phone number for the night porter to and a card for Guest Relations thus this email. Finally a third Remote worked, surely these should be checked. We have stayed at various Premier Inn over time but this was not one of our Best Experiences. Await your reply Barry & Michelle Kayes.

Check in was fine. Room change was no problem. Bedding in room stained. Bed uncomfortable. Section of bathroom floor felt like it was giving way. Sofa had stains on it. Wouldn’t use it or rest clothes on it. No air con so extremely hot in room. Fan provided. Breakfast ok but wouldn’t recommend dinner. I have had better dinners on a plane. Parking was fine. I don’t feel it was worth what I paid. I’ve stayed at other Premier Inns without these complaints

Lovely and comfortable room. On-site parking available. I ate at the in-house restaurant for dinner- the food was delicious. Every member of staff who assisted me was most warm and friendly. I would love to stay again.

TV didn't work, breakfast was £10.99 extra per person, staff were moody. We had booked for a one night stay the previous day, and we liked Whitstable so much we thought we stay an extra night. But when went online to book it, the price had increased by £25! I contacted Premier Inn but there was no leeway for guests already there. We didn't stay an extra night!! The rooms are worth £45 at most. £66 was steep but £91 is ridiculous!! Don't pay it!!
