Small rooms but right in the heart of the action as the name suggests. Pretty cheap for Amsterdam too.

Good to stay on holiday

Great location, clean hotek

It's a shame that I got bitten by a tick after lying down for a while. I wish the mattress would be vacuumed. No curtains, mixed room for 8 people. One shower and toilet in the room. Bath towels, small lockers, and suitcase storage were free of charge. A cash deposit of 20€ is required at check-in. This will be refunded at check-out.

Near tourist attractions

There is no lift and the stairwell is narrow. The room was very clean.

The hostel itself was good, especially since we wanted a cheap stay in a central location. We were in the red light district which was fine but still a little scary at night. As a young female traveller it made me feel uneasy that our room was on the first floor in this location with windows backing onto a courtyard and no proper lock on the door. Asides from that, staff were nice and room was fine.

The location is excellent. The hostel is very clean and modern, it looks as though it has been recently been renovated as it is very fresh. The room was for 6 people and there were 5 of us in our group and the room was spacious, clean and bright. Our room had its own bathroom which was very clean, the shower was hot and powerful too. Staff are very friendly and helpful, we got hungry at 1am and they were happy for us to order an Uber Eats. I’ve stayed in a few different hostels over the years in Amsterdam and this was definitely the nicest. There was minimal noise too, we were in room 10 which is just down a small flight of stairs. I stayed with my partner, 2 sisters and my dad who all agree the hostel is great value. The beds are comfortable too. We will definitely stay here again.

Great location, in the center. However, it is in the Red Light District, so be prepared... Even if the outside is noisy, the inside is so quiet. Friendly staff. Everything was great from check in to checkout Perfectly clean beds, shower, ... Highly recommended, for short stays of course.

The Hostel has a great location, so you're able to get to tons of places by foot. The rooms aswell as the bathrooms were clean. Other than the pillow which I found a little uncomfortable, I really enjoyed my stay here. Will definitely consider coming here again next time.

We were three friends who booked a triple room with private bathroom, and were very happy with our choice. The newish bathroom was clean and tastefully decorated, as was the fairly tight bedroom. Great beds. Our room faced away from the road and was very quiet, an aspect other reviewers have drawn attention to. Lovely friendly staff. This hostel is on the edge of the red light area, so that comes with amazing sights along with uthe usual urban detritus. Hint: if you walk 200m further away from the central city area, you'll find a great range of restaurants along with with a cleaner environment.

Me and my two friends stayed in a triple room on 18th April 2024. The hotel was nice and tidy, I think they’re in the middle of renovations so some parts were done and some not, even so it was all very clean and the new renovations look very smart. Reception staff were very nice also. In our room you got four lockers which I assume you get the key for from reception, there was also a safe that you set the code yourself. There was also an tv but we didn’t use it. Each bed had a towel although we didn’t use the shower however it did look nice with a waterfall shower head and a normal one. Also had shower gel and a hairdryer. Location was very central and right on the red light district so just beware that the nearby streets can be a little uncomfortable at night especially if you’re female but it did seem that where the hotel was located the streets were a little calmer than further down. During the day was absolutely fine. Had no trouble with noise in our room either. Beds were a little uncomfortable but nothing is better than your own bed. Will mention that the stairs up to our room were quite steep, which is expected for Amsterdams building. We were fine with it but if that’s something you struggle with perhaps mention it as you book and I’m sure they would be more than happy to accommodate. Overall it was a lovely place to stay albeit only for one night and we would definitely consider booking here again if we were to revisit

Great location for all the fun in the red light district. Easy check in. We had a private room and bathroom. Bedroom was small and dark but bathroom and shower were good and new. The bed was very comfortable. Price was competitive with other hotels. Staff were nice and helpful. Recommend if your more about the location.
