Tipsy Panda Mountain spring Villa Reviews

The location of the villa is great! It’s just opposite Shenshuping Panda Centre, it took me only 3mins to walk over. They have the essential amenities as well! Breakfast is inclusive during my stay but the bonus of this villa is that they have a cafeteria which provides lunch & dinner, I understand some other places do not so it can be inconvenient. I noticed that some of the guests even ordered bento lunch so they can have it in Shenshuping, just ask any one of the staff in advance. One of the nights, I think there was a family who checked in. Their children were making lots of noise, I could hear the staff telling them to tone down their voices. I appreciated, it is very considerate of them as I was about to plug in earplugs they have provided. The weather at this period is relatively quite comfortable, I was afraid it was going to be hot since there are reviews saying there’s no air conditioning. But it was cooling and even cold at night that I have to switch on the heater in one of the nights. The most enjoyable part is that staff are very friendly and easy going, they really made me feel at home. Thank you for the pleasant stay!

nice service, good location , reasonable price

I was a solo traveller who stayed in the villa in early December 2023, an off-peak season. Room was clean, warm and comfortable. The Villa owners, Mr Deng and Mr Miao were friendly and very helpful. They offered a free to & fro ride to Mount Siguniang on one of their business trips during my stay. Even the staff were friendly and helpful too. The Villa is a great location for anyone who wants to stay opposite 卧龙大熊猫苑神树坪基地. It would be more convenient to drive there though.

The room was very satisfactory and clean. The balcony was across from the hilltop of the Panda Base, and the morning mist was curling in. There was a hot spring in the evening, and the hot spring pool was covered with gauze. The atmosphere was great and I highly recommend it.

I took my parents to Shenshuping to see the pandas and chose this homestay specifically because it is close to the gate and very convenient for the elderly. The parking lot is equipped with charging piles, which is very friendly to families traveling by tram.

The environment is great value for money, with good location and facilities. There's parking, a restaurant, and a hot spring. It's right across from the ticket gate, just a short walk into the park. The room was small and the cleanliness was average, not comparable to other B&Bs in town, but I still recommend it.

I went there for Fubao's birthday, and the biggest advantage is that it is close to the base. The room was humid and not in good condition. They didn't clean it either. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious.

This is my second stay. It's one of the hotels closest to the base gate. Parking is convenient. Although there is no elevator, the lady at the front desk personally carried the suitcase upstairs. The wontons for breakfast are also good.

I chose Zuiyu Mountain House specifically to see Fubao. It's quite nice, one of the closest B&Bs to the Wolong Panda Park. The entrance is right across from the main gate, about 2 kilometers from Gengda Town. The room was also clean and decorated with panda-themed elements, which was so charming. The terrace was comfortable, perfect for enjoying fruit and snacks while admiring the diverse flora. The room was also equipped with underfloor heating, which surprised me with its warmth underfoot. It's perfect for the mountain's humidity. It was especially drizzly, and after a day of panda watching, turning on the underfloor heating helped keep the cold at bay and prevent a cold. The B&B also has a hot spring pool, which was particularly romantic at night. The breakfast buffet was also excellent, with bread, yogurt, and coffee. The service was warm and attentive, and the ladies who served were incredibly helpful.

The location is perfect, right in front of the Sunshine Base entrance. The staff are incredibly friendly, making this a truly enjoyable place to stay. They even arranged taxis from the airport to the hotel. You can even store your luggage after check-out. They respond quickly to WeChat inquiries, and the food is delicious. They even provided extra bottled water, which I appreciated. Even though I don't speak Chinese and had many requests, they tried their best to help with the translation. Thanks to them, I was able to visit Fubao with ease and enjoyment.

I was traveling alone to see Pubao, so I looked around and chose this hotel because it was right in front of the panda base. I was worried because I'd be arriving at the hotel around 3 a.m. after taking an 8 p.m. flight, but they responded quickly on WeChat, so I was able to ask a few questions and make the reservation. I had a worry-free trip. The water pressure was great, and it was incredibly warm. However, the hallway noise was... ㅠ Taxi reservations are 50 cents more expensive than other options, so keep that in mind. I didn't eat breakfast because of the spice smell.

The B&B is very close to the base, just a 5-minute walk to the main entrance. Tickets purchased at the B&B the day before were only 80 yuan, 5 yuan cheaper than booking online. The balcony room offers a pleasant view of the green mountains outside. The room is filled with cute panda elements. Most importantly, the room has underfloor heating, which is very comfortable even in relatively cool nights. Many B&Bs near the base don't have underfloor heating, so I always choose this B&B when I visit. The room was clean and hygienic, though a bit small, especially the bathroom. Don't expect too much here; overall, it's a good stay. The B&B has its own restaurant, but it only offers hot pot sets. If you prefer, you can go to other nearby B&Bs for stir-fried dishes.

I came here to see Fubao. The location itself was perfect, so I made a reservation. Since I have no aversion to Chinese food, I enjoyed dinner and the hot pot, which really brought out the Sichuan spiciness. The staff were friendly, offering a plastic container for breakfast upon request, and I even packed some fruit and eggs to take with me for lunch. The accommodations were beautiful and nice. The water was also good, as I didn't feel dry after showering. I stayed here for 4 nights and 5 days, but they didn't clean the house daily, only changing the towels. While it wasn't the kind of hospitality expected from Koreans at Mokwol Minbak, if you want to experience the charm of a place, I recommend this place. My trip was to see Fubao, but I enjoyed experiencing China in my own way.
