"This is the oldest hotel in Mongolia but don’t be afraid: they recently renovated the rooms and they are modern and well equipped. When you enter the lobby it feels like you’ve been transported to another era. When you leave the hotel, you’re in the heart of the city. Staff were well trained and spoke good English. The Sichuan restaurant at the 6th floor is really authentic - I’ve lived in Sichuan and can guarantee the food is good. My only negative remark is that the bathroom was not well planned because the water leaks - easy to fix if you add a real glass door and not just a decorative one."

As i was missing breakfast due to the morning flight, I was given a bento box - a sandwich, small bottle of water and a snack. Maybe a fruit and a yogurt on top of that would be better."

Stay was for 6 nights, and on two of those nights the room was not serviced at all. Awful smell in the room bathroom, which nobody could fix. When we left, the person at reception was asked to source us a taxi to the railway station , and he instead told the driver (who spoke no English) to take us to the airport. This almost caused us to miss our train resulting in considerable stress. Frankly this dump should not be recommended."

"The hotel has a great location. Using the UBcab app, a taxi costs about two or three US dollars to get to the city center. The hotel is located on the 11th to 13th floors, with a shopping mall and two floors of restaurants downstairs. However, most restaurants close around 7 PM, so you'll need to go to nearby restaurants. Although the room is right next to the train tracks, there's no noise from midnight until 6 or 7 AM. Trains don't run frequently outside of these hours, so I, who's sensitive to noise, didn't need the earplugs provided by the hotel. We booked a quad room, which was spacious and beautifully decorated. The two single beds were located in a dead corner of the room, and the comforter was too thick, so the air conditioning wasn't working properly, making it a bit warm! We saw two insects, which was a bit surprising! The air conditioner malfunctioned for two consecutive nights. On the first night, the staff arrived and contacted someone else, and it was back to normal after about ten minutes. On the second night, the air conditioner stopped working again (the screen didn't display the temperature), but it suddenly returned to normal after about ten minutes. I called the staff online, but it suddenly returned to normal. I hope the hotel addresses this issue! We rented for four days and three nights. The room was serviced on the second day, but not on the third. The young male receptionist at the front desk spoke good English and was very polite. He deserves our praise!"
