"The hotel exceeded our expectations! We booked a room for 3 adults and 1 child on our way to Ulaanbaatar. It's not centrally located, but in a quiet area near the train station. This suited us perfectly since we had our own car, and a great bonus was the private parking right outside our window. There's also a CU convenience store nearby for essentials.
The breakfast was simple but filling, with Chinese cuisine. It’s best to go around 8 AM, though the chef does replenish dishes later. Our room had a kitchenette, but no sink or necessary utensils, just a fridge (which we didn't use) and a kettle.
The room itself was very spacious and clean. Housekeeping came every day. We either had no neighbors or the soundproofing was excellent, as we didn't hear a thing.
The only downside was that the radiators were cold, so it was a bit chilly. However, since we were only there to sleep and have breakfast, we barely noticed it.
I definitely recommend this hotel if you're looking for a good, quiet place with breakfast and private parking at a great price!"

"This hotel in Mongolia is seriously expensive. For a country whose GDP isn't even as high as Mengniu (a Chinese dairy company), the prices for food and hotels are comparable to those in China's first-tier cities. This 160 CNY only gets you a guesthouse, but at least it has its own private bathroom. However, why is the shower area elevated? And the showerhead is only 1.5 meters high; anyone over 1.6 meters tall will have to practice showering while squatting.
Nonetheless, the front desk service was quite good~"

"This is a very famous, long-standing hotel.🏨
I decided to book this hotel because of the Genghis Khan portrait in the lobby and the numerous international celebrities who have stayed here. Of course, the price was also quite affordable!
However, the hotel is a bit of a walk from Sukhbaatar Square (where the airport shuttle bus stops), and it was quite tiring to drag my luggage all the way to the Chinggis Khaan Hotel. On the way back, I asked the hotel front desk to call a taxi directly to the airport. The usual cost is around 100,000 MNT!
Remember to leave early, as Ulaanbaatar traffic is incredibly congested!"

"The hotel was located right across Sukhbataar square and 1 km from State department store which made it really convenient to go around walking. The hotel staff is extremely courteous and the breakfast Buffet had a nice spread of local Mongolian cuisines as well as western options. The Hotel also features 3 bars and a lounge on 23/F with amazing views of the city and nice food.
Highly recommended for stay in Ulaanbaatar."

And believe me, walking is the by far fastest and convenient way to get around in UB. The staff was really friendly, good English speaking and so helpful, as Mongolian people are in general."

We originally got a smoking room but were able to change it with no problem. Breakfast was good with alot of choices. Staff spoke excellent English. Room large, temperature control didn’t work so well - but small problem for us since we were only there a short time."

"Located in the prime location with meters away from the Sukhbaatar square and prime restaurants and bar at its downstairs, this hotel provides ultra luxury experience for travellers and business people alike. The concierge people are very friendly and went a step ahead by helping me get a free local SIM card. The breakfast is good but its the same menu all the day and some may feel bored of the repetitive food items on every morning. The room is clean, spacious with a smart television and a nice bathroom with separated dry and wet areas."
