Wah I really enjoyed alots to stay at this hotel..even though this hotel is awesome for family activities and I come with friend without kid, I also enjoyed staying here. You will be treated like a VIP as you are the one can enter the WU village with the wrist band provided besides WU ZHEN. Everywhere in this place is nice for photo shooting. I also enjoyed having five free beautiful photos from 伯爵旅拍. The service from the hotel staffs is great and helpful. The hotel provided a variety of breakfast and I can visit to Wu Zhen for a 早茶客visit as well.

It exceeded my expectations. The room was very clean and tidy, with a wabi-sabi style design. The tea room on the first floor can be used for free. If time permits, it is also very pleasant to drink tea and chat with family and friends~ It is worth mentioning that when I arrived at the homestay, I found that I forgot to bring my toiletries bag. The beautiful lady at the homestay lent me a set of skin care products to help me solve it. It was full of details and the service was very thoughtful~ I will come back to stay again when I come to Wuzhen

During the May Day holiday, I took my two kids to Wuzhen. The night view is really beautiful. We stayed at Nangongli Hotel, which is in the center of Wuzhen and very close to the East and West Gates. The hotel is good in all aspects and has a high cost performance. The boss is a bit handsome, very artistic, good at photography, and can chat and drink. He is comparable to my husband at home. We made friends [grin][grin][grin], their dog is called Nuomi, very gentle, and can shake hands [handshake], the two kids like it very much

An amazing location, fantastic service, the owner and her mother were extremely helpful and friendly, took us by car to the ticket office and entrance to wuzhen.
Breakfast was well provided for Asian taste , suggest the have some milk for morning tea for the odd westerner like me staying, but it's not a big deal
Coffee shop inside the boutique motel rather than a home stay.

We came by car. The day before, the hotel customer service called to confirm the arrival time, and established a WeChat service group to inform the location of the parking lot and the location of the hotel shuttle bus. When we arrived, the housekeeper Xiao Hu and the shuttle bus were waiting at the entrance of the parking lot. The next series of copying: get on the bus to the visitor center, check in, transfer to the battery car to the hotel, guide into the room, WeChat to inform all the check-in information, scenic spot information, and dining information. After checking out the next day, he helped to contact the shuttle bus to take us directly to the parking lot. Thank you for the warm reception and thoughtful service of the housekeeper Xiao Hu all the way, so that we quickly familiarized ourselves with the hotel environment and had a worry-free stay. The hotel has been open for two years. We booked a landscape twin room with a large air landing, a landscape balcony, and a tatami tea room. The facilities are very new and stylish. Outside the window is the famous Fushan Temple in the scenic area. The breakfast room is very large, with rich Chinese and Western breakfasts, and the taste is also good, especially the green plants outside the restaurant are scattered and there are sprays. The concierge very kindly granted our request to be transferred to a different room when the one we were initially assigned to did not have a TV.
Laundry room has 2 washing machines and 1 dryer. Elevator smells really nice!
Room and hallway looked new and well maintained, though housekeeping could be a little cleaner when fixing the room.
Breakfast was disappointing, but there are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores within the vicinity anyway.
The hotel is around 50 minutes away from the railway station and 25 mins from downtown Tong Xiang. If you'll only be exploring Wuzhen Xizha or Dongzha, you can't go wrong with this hotel!

Room was as expected, and the staff let us check in early in the morning when we arrived because the room was available. Everything was generally clean, except for some of the out-of-reach spaces. Interesting that they provided disposable bath towels, but that wasn't inconvenient.
Lots of small grocery stores and eateries along the same road, so it's convenient to get some food. And while it's geographically near the Xizha, it's still a distance from the entrance of Xizha. It's walkable (around 20min), but a Didi should get you to and fro the hotel quite quickly and affordably.

GGuest UserIt was our wedding anniversary so we wanted to have a cozy trip to a town we had not been to. Did some research and found Wuzhen and decided on Wuzhen Clubhouse.
We knew the pricing would be higher to be inside the visitor zone so it was mainly to take advantage of the location of the hotel.
For the price, it is basic and aged. The room is exactly as you see in photos for the listing. Because the hotel is in a historical building, there is no lift if you stay in a second floor unit.
With a stay inside the visitor area, you can normally have unlimited access to go in and out of the area, whereas if you stay outside then you are limited to the number of access. You can also remember to call and buggy to take you longer distances from the hotel and from certain spots; they just ask you to show proof of stay like your hotel key card. Otherwise you pay per ride at 10 RMB which is not cost efficient.
It’s quite humid and rainy for most of the year so since it’s stone and wood construction, it is vulnerable to be run down easily.
Since we visited in October, it was cool and slightly rainy but the temperature in the room was pleasant with the windows open or with the air conditioning on. I imagine it could get quite hot in summer so this is something to keep in mind.
Breakfast is either in the hotel or you receive a voucher to a breakfast spot in the town. It’s a very full breakfast either Chinese style or western.
The staff are friendly and patient. This is the highlight of the hotel.
When you arrive in the visitor center, you can confirm your check in and your luggage is transported directly to your hotel. And when you depart, the same process in reverse is arranged for you.
We then called a Didi car to leave and the driver picked us up outside of the visitor Centre. You can take a regular yellow taxi in the line in the same area. The price is only slightly higher when you call a car but the car can be much nicer so I think it’s worth the 20 RMB extra to go to the high speed rail station (to go back to Shanghai).
As I said, the price is high for what you get at this location so do some homework and make sure you know what you are looking for.

ZZuiaiwuyuetianFacilities and environment: First of all, let's talk about the facilities. Although the hotel has been around for many years, it is very well maintained. And the environment is very elegant. It is located in the center of the scenic area. The door is the Women's Red Street, which is convenient for going anywhere.
And there is a small private garden inside, and the environment is quiet and beautiful.
My wife and I come to Wuzhen for our wedding anniversary almost every year. This year is the 20th anniversary, and we tried to make a request. I didn't expect the hotel to specially help me decorate the room. It's so thoughtful and I'm very satisfied and happy.
Service: I have to mention the service here. I felt different services when I came in from the gate of the scenic area. There is a special area for helping with luggage and waiting for check-in. Tea and hot towels were given, and the fatigue along the way disappeared immediately. Special mention to the service staff Xiaoyu, who is very patient and friendly, and understands our needs and problems with us, and solves them wholeheartedly. And we can enjoy the care from the heart, sometimes we are a little embarrassed when we go out. Big thumbs up.
And the hotel room price includes the scenic spot ticket and the double boat tour experience, which is very conscientious. We have been here many times before and have not experienced the boat trip. This time we took a boat from the White Lotus Tower to the entrance and felt the complete water town feeling. It was great.
The only thing we felt was that the experience was slightly worse was that the hotel did not have its own breakfast, so we had to go to the next door to eat. Fortunately, the waiter accompanied us all the way, which was very considerate.

GGuest UserThis homestay is very close to the No. 2 gate of Xizha Scenic Area. It only takes a few minutes to walk there. I came out to play alone. The front desk was very considerate and attached a travel guide to Wuzhen and a lightning avoidance guide, which is great! ! ! I will recommend friends to stay in this homestay in the future! ! P.S. The boss was also very enthusiastic to help with the luggage! !

MMichelleY.We had a wonderful stay at Dishang Resort in Wuzhen, and here are some highlights from my experience:
Location: The resort is conveniently situated inside the West Gate Scenic Spot, allowing guests to explore the area freely, even after it closes to the public. The view is stunning—peaceful and filled with a serene atmosphere.
Check-in: The check-in counter is located right at the entrance to the West Gate Scenic Spot, with the entrance fee included for resort guests. The added perk is that you’re allowed multiple entries and exits throughout your stay.
Buggy Service: A buggy service is available for guests, making it easy to travel around the scenic spot and explore its many sights without much hassle.
Room: Our room was very spacious, and we were fortunate to be upgraded to the Family Room during check-in. The living area between the two rooms was especially comfortable, and both bathrooms were large, with a bathtub. The only downside was that the toilet seat wasn’t heated, which would have been a nice touch.
Breakfast: The buffet breakfast offered a decent variety, including many local dishes. It was a good way to start the day, though it wasn’t extraordinary.
Service: The reception staff were excellent—very helpful and informative. When we arrived, most restaurants within the scenic spot were closed, but the receptionist kindly suggested a few places for lunch, which was greatly appreciated since we were starving.

GGuest UserThis hotel is really great. The price/performance ratio is very high. As soon as you enter the hotel, someone will come forward to guide you. The front desk check-in is fast and enthusiastic. They carefully remind you to avoid the peak hours of bathing water with the tour group, and give the children a small doll. The hotel also has supper porridge from 9 to 11 o'clock. The room is quiet, tidy, clean and hygienic. It is rare to have a cloakroom and a large bathtub. The children have a lot of fun bathing and playing in the water. The breakfast buffet has a wide variety of food. There is also a children's playground on the second floor of the hotel. The children are reluctant to leave. It is also very convenient to take a taxi to Wuzhen Scenic Area. I rarely leave comments for hotels I have stayed in. This one is really great and highly recommended

BBionaIt suppose to be a great stay as this is the most expensive hotel during my trip, but it was terrible that aircon is not supply during a 30 plus degree's weather. Several way was propose by the hotel to settle the aircon issue, the end were change to other building with no sunlight could get in but still not as comfortable as if we have aircon. Thanks to the hotel providing fans for our room but would appreciate we can be informed during check in, it will simplify us from changing the room. Hotel said is because changing the aircon system from hot air to cold air will take 2-3days but I don't understand why cold air is available in the lobby. Plus my hotel at Shanghai can change the cold air to hot air in a second.

MMingSeeThe hotel (Wangjinli) is one of the furthest in from the XiZha entrance, near the Pagoda. This gives a little more privacy, where less public walking around the hotel vicinity. Shuttle service is included, so it’s easy to move around if you do not want to walk so much. Room is wide and clean. Bed is a bit dated, but it’s clean. Our room had a good view, enjoyed our stay. Would come again!

LLay KimWe travelled from Malaysia on our own. Before arrival, the boss/owner of the place had been communicating with me on wechat guiding us how to travel on the public transportation which also save the cost. The owner/boss is excellent. we arrived late around 9pm+. he came to fetch 6 of us personally. he showed us where to go the next day and arrange the local trishaw for us so that we can experience the uniqueness of the town. We also had dinner and breakfast at the guesshouse. I must say, the foods are yummy. Most of us are vegetarian yet they can also cooked delicious vege meal. a must try when staying in wuzhen. Noticed that the guesthouse also received awards from trips because many other guests also comment the same. We definitely will be staying in this guesthouse again should we go back to the town because of the warmth service provided by the boss and the employees.

GGuest UserOur stay at the Wuzhen Tong’an Inn was nothing short of delightful. This review is specifically for Wuzhen Tong’an Inn, not the Waterside Resort. We were fortunate to have encountered a helpful lady at the visitor center who informed us that our original booking didn't face the Wuzhen grand canal but instead their own small private canal, which wouldn't offer views of the ancient boats. She assisted us with an upgrade to the Tong’an Inn, which provided not only beautiful scenery but also a prime location right at the heart of all the happenings.
All Wuzhen guests head to one place for the breakfast buffet, which, conveniently, was right at our hotel. This was a significant advantage as the original booking would have required a 20+ minute walk, especially inconvenient in the rain and cold.
Our room was a blend of ancient Chinese style, with fragrant old woods, and a modernized living quarter complete with a hot shower and smart devices. It was impeccably clean, providing a perfect balance of traditional charm and contemporary comfort.
Everyone in Wuzhen was incredibly friendly. Special shout out to Mr. Ling, who helped us with our heavy luggage bags. He was courteous, professional, and extremely helpful. It's unfortunate that we only booked two nights here. We would definitely love to stay longer in the future.

GGuest UserIt's no exaggeration to say that I will definitely recommend ALILA Hotel WuZhen to my friends if they have plans to travel to Jiaxing.
From the moment I arrived the hotel, I felt the warm welcome from the front desk staff. I was really enjoying the warm welcome drinks, fresh pear juice provided by the check-in lobby. In particular, thanks to Sherry, the receptionist, who contacted me in advance before my arrival and kindly reminded me that thick clothes need to be prepared for the local cooling.
The concierge took the initiative to help me bring my luggage to the room and personally guided me to the room, they gave a detailed introduction of the hotel facilities and dining outlets. I was greatly moved and surprised by the exquisite welcome amenity prepared on the table in the room. There are delicate and delicious macarons, fresh fruit plates prepared with care, a bottle of fine red wine, afternoon patisserie with Zhejiang characteristics, and even a welcome letter handwritten by General Manager Nick. I can feel that Alila's staff really treat guests with true heart.
I still want to thank a boy who worked in the hotel bar. I'm sorry that I forgot his name. He patiently took beautiful photos of me on the afternoon of my arrival, recording my wonderful moment in the Alila Hotel.
I really enjoy the relaxing time in the bar of this hotel. There is a standing performance of Filipino band in the bar at night. The service provided by the band was very good. They cared about each guest on the scene and asked each guest what song they wanted to listen to in a friendly and warm manner. I was really immersed in relaxing and drinking there.
The breakfast in the hotel is well-done. The food quality and taste are very good. The breakfast choices are very rich. The only disadvantage is that the skin of shrimp dumplings is too thick. Alex, the Director of Food and Beverage, actively inquired about our stay experience and personally served us with care. The service was very good. He knew that we felt too hot when sitting outdoors and quickly helped us transfer to the indoor table near the window.
When I was checking out, the front desk staff treated us warmly as always, and gave me a sleeping pillow spray and a wash and care package as a parting gift, which greatly moved me again. Compared to the next hotels I stayed in on this trip, the hotel that impressed me the most was definitely the Alila Hotel, with its superb service.
