📍Wuzhen Scenic Area A highly recommended hotel! It's super convenient, just a 2-minute drive from the West Scenic Zone, and they offer a very thoughtful shuttle service. The dining is a major highlight; it's not your typical buffet. Instead, they prepare authentic local specialties tailored to your preferences. Then there's the ambiance and culture: the unique portrait of 'Zaki Lamu, the ******* Goddess of Wealth' is a must-take photo op! Many small items in the hotel, from the raw materials to the DIY designed furniture and ornaments, are personally selected and crafted by the owner. Plus, there's a really impressive sound system. The rocking horse is a big hit with the kids, and the treasure-filled 4th floor has an art studio that's quite an eye-opener. Each room has different furniture, and the beds are all made from antique boat wood, giving each room a unique style. Some small decorations in the rooms are also DIY. It's not quite a guesthouse but not quite a club, and definitely not a club but not quite a guesthouse – truly one-of-a-kind and highly recommended!

Booking this guesthouse was such a pleasant surprise! ✨ The owner was incredibly welcoming and even helped us with recommendations for local snacks and sightseeing routes when we checked in, which was great for avoiding tourist traps. The room was clean and tidy, and the balcony overlooked a charming little courtyard 🌿. Waking up to the sunlight in the morning was incredibly therapeutic. The location is also very convenient; it's about a five-minute walk to the attractions, and there's a bus stop right outside, which is super handy 👍. The bathroom even had a smart toilet, and these small details really made our stay comfortable. If I get the chance to visit again, I'll definitely be staying here!

The place is 4mn walking to the west scenic area entrance. Very convenient to come back after a magical night boat tour. Our room was very peaceful with a view over a small canal and trees, we could hear birds singing. The bed was very confortable and the stunning design bath tub in the room was much appreciated to relax after walking all day. Mr.Ya at reception was very helpful and easy to communicate with. he arranged an affordable transportation for us directly to Shanghai airport and he facilitated a late check-out so we could take a shower before departure. Location & Environment Situated in a village between the East and West Scenic Zones, it's not far from the attractions, making it convenient to walk or take a short taxi ride. The expansive courtyard is lush with greenery, and the swimming pool, lawn, and outdoor cinema area are exquisitely arranged, creating a fantastic atmosphere that's great for photos. The courtyard is quiet and tranquil, away from the bustling crowds of the ancient town, offering a strong sense of relaxation. 2. Room Experience The overall design is a minimalist, natural wood style. The rooms are spacious, and most come with a balcony or a small courtyard. The bedding and bathroom amenities are of high quality. The rooms are treated for moisture, ensuring a dry and comfortable stay. The soundproofing is also good, guaranteeing a peaceful night's rest. 3. Service & Thoughtful Details (including souvenir) The staff are friendly and enthusiastic, proactively explaining sightseeing routes and tips to avoid common tourist pitfalls. Basic services such as luggage handling, taxi booking, and parking are all well-executed. Upon departure, guests receive a local specialty souvenir (mostly Wuzhen pastries, tea bags, or cultural and creative small items), which adds a wonderful touch of ceremony and is incredibly thoughtful, significantly boosting overall satisfaction.

Great location! It's within walking distance to Wuzhen Xizha, which is super convenient! The staff are all very warm and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable, and it offers excellent value for money!

Traveling to Wuzhen with my mom this time, I specifically chose the Hilton hotel outside the scenic area. The location is excellent, making it very convenient to get to Dongzha, Xizha, and Nanzha. We could enjoy the comfort of the hotel while also being able to start our water town journey at any time. I accompanied my mom walking on the bluestone paths, seeing the small bridges, flowing water, and homes, and tasting the authentic Dingsheng糕 (Dingsheng cake). She smiled and said that of this whole trip, she was most satisfied with this hotel; it was both worry-free and comfortable. The hotel was spotless, the bedding was soft and skin-friendly, the bathroom had a wet/dry separation, and the facilities were complete and well-equipped.

1. Location - Very convenient and near the old city, dining is within 5-10 minutes walk, the bus to Hangzhou is also near, the entrance to Wuzhen scenic area is very near. 2. Room - the toilet smell of urine and I wanted to wash the smell away but there was no waste hole. Probably the housekeeper just mopped the toilet. The next day the smell cleared. AirCon is good especially on a very warm and humid day. 3. Front desk - helpful on directions and advise on buying entrance tickets, tips, and also how to buy the bus ticket to Hangzhou.

Transportation: Pujiin is located outside the ancient town, directly opposite the ancient town's tourist service center, just across the road. Hotel Service: I really have to commend the hotel's strict rules and regulations. The staff meticulously enforce them, which was almost too ”friendly” for a family trip. We booked two king rooms, one for two adults and one child, and the other for one senior and two children. Upon check-in, we were told that each room only provided two adult tickets. Even for the senior and two children who qualified for preferential policies, they stated, ”Our adult tickets are counted per person, regardless of whether you're an adult or a senior/child with a preferential ticket.” So, we had to purchase additional tickets at the front desk or buy them ourselves. Despite having three children, no children's amenities were proactively provided. By the time we remembered, it was quite late. The children had no slippers or dental kits and had to use the adults'. In the morning, before entering the dining room, we were stopped and asked for our room number. Before even finishing counting the people, they started saying we had exceeded the limit and needed to pay extra (only two adults and three children, one of whom was under 120cm, had arrived at the restaurant first). I went to the restaurant after checking my luggage. After giving my room number, the staff told me it was full and I needed to pay extra. Maybe I'm just cheap, but I decided to leave and forgo breakfast. Finally, I have to complain about the bathroom design. Perhaps it's an issue with the rooms on our side? After putting down the bath mat in the shower, the door couldn't close. When the bathroom door was opened, it blocked the sink. If someone was using the sink, you couldn't open the door to enter, which was very inconvenient.

I have been to the small town of Puyuan many times. Every time I go, I choose Meishang Hotel. The service is as excellent as always. This time I traveled during off-peak hours and it was very quiet. The hotel also added a lot of personalized services, such as experiencing singing bowls and going to the gym. The experience is good. Xiao Yao from the hotel specially picked us up at the door and sent me the guide and weather information in advance. Very thoughtful!

Facilities: The room facilities live up to its design hotel status, with a bathtub and Bluetooth speaker. The amenities are all good. The pool and spa areas are very well-designed and look beautiful when lit up at night. Breakfast: The taste gets a 7/10, but the variety is a 5/10, quite limited. The à la carte beef noodles are delicious, but the other dishes are too few, and classic Chinese options are scarce. I hope for more choices. Cleanliness: Overall very clean. There are no obvious hygiene blind spots in the rooms or public areas. However, with many water features, some corners inevitably have a bit of dampness, and the wooden floors show their age. Environment: The hotel itself is a scenic spot. White walls, gray tiles, and numerous waterscape courtyards make for great photos from any angle. It blends perfectly with Wuzhen's江南 water town aesthetic. It's not far from the Xizha Scenic Area, just a few minutes' drive. Service: Butler Kevin's service is top-notch, very enthusiastic. Food delivery can even be brought to the room, and housekeeping responds promptly. However, on the second day, the room cleaning didn't include changing the duvet cover, just a simple bed making. There was a welcome fruit platter upon check-in, and a small farewell gift upon check-out – very thoughtful. Overall, my evaluation of this hotel is excellent. The design is fantastic. If you just want to quietly stay in Wuzhen for a couple of days and not go anywhere else, this is definitely the place to choose. I highly recommend it.
