Pentland Hotel Reviews

Room is somewhat small. Bathroom was very cleaned and had everything we needed. Excellent breakfast. Even in the middle of the city, once you entered in to the hotel it’s calm, no sounds and no disturbances for your sleep. Seems like old but worth for a stay ❤️

We were first given a room that was already occupied. The room is of adequate size but very basis.

Overall it was very reasonable and very good. However, parking is on the street, so it was a little difficult for first-timers. How to find a place and how to park. So I asked people walking by and they said it was perfect. You can park your car from 5 p.m. until morning, but it seems impossible to park near double yellow lines or in front of people's houses. There was a bar right next door (some?), and there were various food shops nearby. Chinese, Indian, fish and chips. I think there was also a steak restaurant that sold venison. The backyard that I could see from my room was also very peaceful and nice. If I had time, I would like to take it easy. The ferry port for the Auckland Islands was about a 15 minute drive away. A company called North Link? There were three flights a day.
