Absolutely loved the scenery at this hotel! The view was stunning and made the stay extra special. Really appreciated the self-service laundry facilities, super convenient for guests. Plus, having halal restaurants right in front of the hotel was a huge bonus for Muslim travelers.

The room is really spacious and lighting is great. The service there is also exceptional and they catered to our every need. Didn’t opt for breakfast as there is quite a lot of different options near our hotel. We also got access to 盘门 and had the privilege to access it any time

Situated in Gusu District, it is very convenient for whatever type of traveller. The Chinese restaurant (海天）serves nice Suzhou dishes amongst other types of food. The room that I have is spacious and comfortable after a day of activities. The staff at the front desk and conciege are helpful and polite when I need cutlery and USB cable.

This hotel has amazing and outstanding atmostphere. The place is huge. We are a family of 4 people. We love this place. We booked a family room so we get a free 1 hour costume for free.

Best stay experience. They upgraded me for free because of some issues with my room. The room the gave me was super nice. I love it so much. Best hotel in Suzhou. There is a garden next to the hotel for free entry

The hotel has a stunning, traditional architecture inspired of an old Chinese dynasty - with grand halls, intricate woodwork, and imperial-style decor. However, while the ambiance is impressive, the room amenities seem outdated and in need of renovation, which detracts from the overall experience. Other than that, the hotel service and support was right on point and I had a pleasant stay.

This was truly a wonderful experience for me. An absolutely perfect hotel with a unique and ancient architecture, it enhances the beauty and at the same time introduces tourists to the medieval culture of China. I felt like I was living in ancient China. It was really impressive to me. The room was fully equipped, clean, airy and the scenery was romantic. This place is very large and they also welcomed many important people such as politicians and artists. Delicious breakfast food and traditional decoration. Stay to believe it, this hotel with an ancient wall designed theme make it so unique! Hotel staffs are friendly, cleanliness are good, ambience are comforting. Saw some previous guests stay with negative feedbacks but still give a try and no regret. Suggest to choose room nearer to hotel lobby as it’s a very big hotel, like a maze. They have their very own back garden for their own guests and it’s huge. Location still Okok, but everywhere i will take hired car services which make it not much difference. Their Cafe at level 1 near the swimming also a must visit cafe, one of their staff called Amy is very welcoming and cheerful! Enjoy my stays at this hotel. Oh ya, late Lee Kuan Yew also stayed at this hotel before too!

One of the most unique hotel that I ever stayed. Best for those who likes to have a blend of ancient + modern architecture style. The staffs are very friendly and attentive. Being next to the Panman, guest will be given the complimentary entry to this particular tourism spot. View during night time is simply breathtaking.

Not recommended to stay here. At first impression, the hotel looks grand (like a palace) and the ambience is nice and welcoming. However, this is the only positive point. Location: Not near to any metro station at all and no convenience stores or nice food stores nearby that are within walking distance. Tried to find food at around 4pm but the hotel's restaurants are all closed, as well as their in room dining. Rooms: Does not look like the pictures on the website. Rooms are very old and dated, as well as very dusty. There was no view at all. My legs were very itchy after my shower (using the shower gel provided by the hotel). As the hotel is huge, it is like a maze getting to our rooms and easy to get lost. Signs were also misleading. Self laundry room is also very packed and it took me more than 5 hours to get my clothes dried. The hotel needs to be more efficient. Service: Very mediocre. Buffet breakfast: Nothing special and taste is not good. Overall, I was very disappointed with my stay and definitely won't be back. There are many other hotels with the same price point or lower, that are of better value. This is definitely not a 5* hotel.
