"The shower stops working after about 15 minutes.
This happened repeatedly, so it's not a coincidence.
The front desk staff can speak some English, so it's not a problem to arrange a taxi, etc.
But be careful when you use the restaurant.
They don't understand English, but they say ”OK” and everything. Even if you only ask about a menu item, they think it's an order and bring it to you. So I recommend that you double-check what you order yourself.
On the last day, I had them book a limousine bus to the airport. I booked a bus at 7:00am, and they took me to the bus stop, but the bus actually arrived at 7:40am. This was not their fault, but when you book a bus, it might be better to arrange a reliable limousine bus yourself.
It's unfortunate that this happened, but the staff are all kind and polite. I hope they do better, so I'm rooting for them. Thank you."

"We had such a lovely stay at the Sapa Farmstay! The local family running the establishment is warm, friendly, and hospitable. We ate dinner with them twice—the food was beyond delicious and fresh, and I loved the family-style atmosphere during mealtime.
The rooms were just like the photos: comfy, clean, and well-decorated, with plenty of hotel-style amenities! The only minor drawback was the hot water…it was quite cold in Sapa during our visit in January, and the hot water never lasted more than 3 minutes or so during showers. This was a minor issue, though, and we will for sure re-book when we return to Sapa again!"

"We arrived late at night, but no one met us despite the information about the 24-hour resepshen. We went to search the house for free rooms after some time. It took some time, we were very worried, a hundred people will be disturbed. Of course it would be much more comfortable if the host left the instruction and information in which rooms we can locate.
This is an absolutely authentic place, according to the feelings of , like a dacha, respectively the same convenience. The house is wooden, heated in the day, but cool in the night. I didn't risk walking in the shower there, in the wall a pretty big clutch to the street, and the pressure of water leaves the desire for the best.
Bear in mind that it is quite far from the center of Sapa, taxi can be called, but it is about 300k.
The price is attractive, but we took an extra 400k. It turned out that free breakfast was up to 10 a.m. and we ate after. No one warned us about it. Breakfast is modest and not big."
