Guest UserI switched from the InterContinental to this hotel and had a fantastic experience. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and helped cheer me up after a not-so-great day. A special shout-out to the lady at the front desk – she was amazing! I left my belongings in a taxi, and she went above and beyond, calling around to help me retrieve them. Plus, I got a complimentary room upgrade, which made me so happy, haha! I rarely leave reviews, but I'm truly grateful. A huge thank you to Nat, Bery, Phing, and Paffy for their exceptional service. Thank you all so much!
The room also came with complimentary fruit and coconut juice. And I got to enjoy the views from the top floor too, hehe.

I stayed at Settha Palace Hotel during my visit to Vientiane, and overall, it was a decent experience with a mix of positives and areas for improvement.
The hotel’s location is definitely one of its biggest strengths. It’s right in the middle of everything, close to the river and within easy reach of the main Songkran celebration areas, which made getting around very convenient.
The property itself has a charming Lao-French colonial style. While it is an older hotel, it has been maintained reasonably well and retains a certain classic character. The staff were excellent, professional, friendly, and always willing to assist, which added positively to the stay.
However, the room was somewhat disappointing. While the minibar was well stocked, basic amenities were missing, not even essentials like a toothbrush or shampoo were provided, which was surprising for a hotel of this category. There were also some maintenance issues: the bathroom had leaking pipes, and the air conditioning wasn’t working initially, though to their credit, they promptly sent a technician to fix it.
The pool area is visually quite pleasant, surrounded by greenery, giving it a relaxing vibe. That said, there were quite a few frogs around the pool, which became a bit irritating. While I personally didn’t mind, some other guests, especially European travelers, were clearly uncomfortable.
Overall, it’s a good property with great location and strong potential, but it could significantly improve with better room maintenance and attention to guest amenities.

This was the first hotel I stayed at in Vientiane. It's a bit far from the old town, but conveniently close to Parkson and the Bank of China, which was great for currency exchange.
The hotel has a lot of greenery, and the room itself was decent. Breakfast was included in the room rate and was one of the better ones I had during my trip to Laos, with both the main course and the buffet offering a good variety.

Every time I have a layover in Vientiane, Laos, I stay here. The shuttle service is incredibly convenient. The breakfast starting at 6:30 AM also gives me enough time to catch my domestic flight from the airport. I'll definitely keep staying here in the future. This time I got a membership card that I can recycle, but I'm not sure how to use it?

EnricoLe Seine is beautifully located facing the Mekong River, offering, in my view, the best riverfront scenery in Vientiane. The hotel is within walking distance of the night market and many of the city’s main attractions.
The rooms and overall property are very well curated, fully in line with a boutique hotel experience. Nice facilities, comfortable beds, spacious rooms, and excellent showers. The staff is friendly, professional, and attentive.
The rooftop bar is also a highlight, with live music and a fantastic view over the river.
The only negative note was regarding my advanced reservation for a higher-floor Deluxe River View room. As this was a special occasion, I had even called a couple of days prior to confirm availability and specifically requested a room on the 3rd or 4th floor. However, despite arriving at the earliest check-in time, I was informed that all rooms of that category on the higher floors had already been assigned and were no longer available.

Guest UserOverall, my stay was fantastic. The hotel's location is super convenient with tons of dining options nearby. The room was spotless, cozy, and the bedding was so comfortable, I slept like a baby. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and handled both check-in and check-out very efficiently. Breakfast had a great variety and tasted good too. Definitely great value for money. I'd absolutely choose to stay here again if I get the chance!

Clean and good quality hotel.
On the downside, the air conditioning let a large puddle of water inside when it started to rain outside.
At breakfast, where we arrived half an hour before it was due to end, the hot food had run out.
The picture shows all the protein I could find in the thermal bath. There wasn't even an omelet or eggs available in the open kitchen.

Guest UserMy stay here was incredibly comfortable and pleasant. I'd like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Manager Liao for their thoughtful and attentive assistance; they were efficient and reliable. The hotel's environment is clean and tidy, and the breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of options. Plus, it boasts a prime, expansive view of the Mekong River. It's truly suitable for both business trips and leisure travel. I genuinely recommend it!

낭만을 위하여..Since there are only twin rooms, I used a twin room. It was quiet, clean, and nice. However, when I showed the address to taxi drivers, they didn't seem to know it^^

The reason we choose this hotel was it was closer to train station and offered free drop off service. The hotel is located at outskirts of Vientiane and so it took some time to get there. The breakfast had mostly Chinese food. The swimming pool and area around the hotel was nice, especially at the evening after hot day. The reception person didn’t speak English but with the English-Chinese translation app, there was no problem of communicating. There was a strange smell so the reception called the repair man who has cleaned the airconditioner dust and it cleared the air.
