I was for the second tine în this hotel and I spent 4 weeks It was a great experience, there is free gym and laundry, whitch is very important if you will spend a long time in hotel room.

The hotel service was so-so. The front desk staff were rather inflexible. After staying two nights, my key card stopped working on the second day, so I had to go back to the front desk to get it renewed. The door lock also broke that night, thankfully it was fixed in time, but it was still a bit of a hassle. There weren't many restaurants nearby, so I ate at all three hotel restaurants. I'm not picky, but the food was all pretty good, and the portions were huge – three people couldn't finish four dishes! The hotel pool was only 1.5 meters deep, not suitable for those who aren't good swimmers. The staff recommended renting a swim ring for 20 yuan. The pool wasn't crowded, so the experience was okay. Overall, in terms of service, the Mercure next door was better. Because the food was served late, they even gave my child a complimentary steamed egg. I didn't mind the egg, but it made me feel respected!

The environment is great, super close to Holland Flower Sea, within walking distance, and you can see flowers from the window. The family room is also very spacious, and the hotel facilities are top-notch. The gym has a lot of equipment, as well as changing rooms and shower rooms, and you can watch TV while running. The only minor drawback is the Chinese restaurant. During the Qingming Festival holiday, they only recommend the buffet for dinner. On our first night, we arrived at the restaurant at 7 PM and saw a roll-up banner advertising Chinese set meals. We wanted to order, but the young lady at the restaurant reception advised against it, saying it would take a long time and urged us to have the buffet. Since the child also wanted to try it, we did. To our surprise, most of the food was cold, and my elderly family member suffered from an upset stomach. Only the noodle station had hot food. On the second night, I wanted to order room service by calling the restaurant, but again, a staff member told me not to, insisting we have the buffet. By this point, I was quite annoyed. The hotel clearly offers various options, so why do they always make excuses and use long waiting times as a reason? This time, I insisted on ordering a set meal, and it was delivered relatively quickly. The food quality was very good and satisfying. Aside from being somewhat dissatisfied with the service at the Chinese restaurant's front desk, all other staff members were very good and courteous. I hope the Chinese restaurant manager provides better training. I believe our next stay will be a pleasant surprise.

The group-buy deal offered great value for money. The environment was nice and quiet, which, on the flip side, meant the location was quite remote. There were no shops or restaurants nearby, and it took over ten minutes to drive to the nearest town. This hotel is really only suitable for those traveling by car and planning to stay put. Which brings me to the main issue: if guests are expected to stay within the hotel, the entertainment facilities should be top-notch, and there's a lot of room for improvement here. For starters, many of the machines in the 3rd-floor fitness center were broken. The kids' play area was tiny and offered nothing engaging to do; it felt like a half-hearted effort. We took our child there, walked around once, and ended up going back to the room to sleep and watch TV. The hotel staff seemed understaffed and, for a resort hotel, lacked enthusiasm and interaction. Finally, regarding the hot spring center: the outdoor pool was dirty, the hot spring pools were cold, and the wave pool had tiny waves. If it weren't for the complimentary tickets with our stay, it wouldn't have been worth visiting at all.

We stayed here during the May Day holiday. The hotel is located inside the scenic area, so the shuttle service was very smooth, and check-in was prompt. The front desk staff were warm and welcoming, offering complimentary fruit. We had children with us, and the staff were very friendly towards them, which was a big plus. The kids also enjoyed the hotel's activities – everything was great. I do have a few minor suggestions: When checking in with children, it would be helpful to proactively ask if they need kids' toiletries and slippers, rather than waiting for guests to request them. The mosquito repellent in our room was nearly empty, and despite calling twice, it was never delivered. Also, there was no information provided about the hotel's facilities, leaving guests to figure things out on their own.

The front desk clerk, Xiao Sun, was very enthusiastic and sorted out my express delivery for me to pick up when I checked in. It was truly a five-star service that made me feel the warmth of Yancheng. The room is very large, with classic decoration but it is a smart room. It has Xiaodu, a smart toilet, a TV with screen projection, a bathtub and a disposable bathtub cover, which is very thoughtful. The breakfast is very rich, the lotus root tea is delicious, the lotus root powder dumplings are delicious, and the fish soup noodles are a Yancheng specialty that you must try!

The hotel room is spacious and bright, with a very reasonable layout and a good view outside the window. The room service cleaning sister replenished drinking water very timely, which is very friendly for families who go out early and return late on May Day. I especially like the atmosphere of the hotel's buffet breakfast restaurant and all the staff, including the front desk, service staff, and the eldest sister. Although the taste is different for different people, there are many varieties. I especially like it❤️+1: The girl in charge of cooking fish soup noodles and wontons is very enthusiastic. She is the most enthusiastic and patient in cooking noodles in all the hotels I have stayed in recently, including luxury five-star hotels. Special thanks and likes +2❤️: The sister in the black suit at the breakfast bar, the service is particularly good, helping to pick up the mobile phone that fell in the gap, timely, enthusiastic and responsible, sincere and hearty smile and service make people feel very comfortable, absolutely beat those attentive masked stereotyped WeChat services, only sincerity is the most moving, it is a comfortable moment in the hurried May Day trip! There are two more attractions I want to go to, but I didn't go because of time, and I will choose here again!

Very nice looking hotel and helpful staff. The room is pretty big and comfortable. Just the breakfast was a little bit underwhelming, but that’s just a minor complaint. You get a very good value for your money. Would definitely stay again.

My 2nd time in Dongtai, 1st time in Leida hotel. It looked good on the website. 1st impressions were good. Even though the staff spoke very limited English they checked me in efficiently (I do speak some Chinese but if you don't it's okay). The rooms are a good size and the big picture windows give great views over the public lake/park. the only downside was the faint aroma of stale cigarette smoke in the room but this is China and unfortunately to be expected. The downside was the breakfast was very Chinese and though I love the cuisine here I'm not a lover of Chinese breakfast. It would have been better if the cook knew how to make fried eggs in different styles than just solid yokes and they invested in a good coffee machine. The coffee was in a flask....and was white....I didn't even try the bit I poured into a cup. The positive is Wuyue Plaza is a 10 minute stroll and has a Starbucks and MacDonalds! I had a look at the gym and pool. Gym was 10 yuan, pool was 40. Both looked okay. The hotel grounds needed a bit of a tidy up but were okay. I couldn't find direct access into the lake/park area but then I was only there 2 nights. The big convenience was Wuyue Plaza. The top floor was restaurants. A decent selection. Towards the back on the outside walking street was a decent little bar (Black Vine). Nice manager, 8 craft beer taps, lots of bottled beer. Yes, I'd stay here again as it suited my purpose.
