RR&L leungOne of the best hotels in this region. The golf course setting is very pleasant. Hotel staff are very friendly including those working in the breakfast dining area. Breakfast has a lot of choices and are of top quality. With ample parking, we will definitely stay in this hotel again.

GGuest UserThe room was clean and comfortable, with a bathtub, and quite spacious. The decor was beautiful, and the front desk service was excellent. They even offered to install a railing. The gym on the second floor was also very large. Breakfast is at the Meigao Hotel, not far away, just across the street. The buffet breakfast was just average in terms of variety and taste. The performances in the old town were quite good and worth a visit.

UUtsuronaIt was really pricey because of the holiday, but the interior design totally made up for it; the ambiance is great. However, I have to point out two things: 1. This is the most expensive hotel in the whole scenic area, yet there's no dedicated parking. Finding a spot was a nightmare (it's best to contact the front desk beforehand and ask them to open the back gate). 2. They seem to be understaffed, and some employees' service attitude was just so-so (though the guy at the door when we checked out was very good). And the person who showed us to our room didn't offer to help with our luggage once – it was quite annoying 😑. 3. The carpet in the elevator looked a bit cheap and ruined the designer's consistent style. I hope they'll replace it.

GGuest UserThe hotel facilities are superb, probably the best architecture in Kaiping. Situated on the Tanjiang Peninsula, my room offered a fantastic river view as soon as I opened the window – absolutely stunning. The room itself was spacious and faultless. Breakfast was incredibly rich and varied, and the dishes at the second-floor Chinese restaurant were also delicious. When I arrived on Saturday, the entire second-floor restaurant was almost full, and it was the same the next day. I'm not sure if Kaiping locals are just big fans of tea culture, or if the food at this hotel is simply that good. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Kaiping.

AAnonymous UserNot bad experience. The hotel room is quite new and clean with hot spring water inside bathroom. We can enjoy anytime. The host let us staying in 1/F although not my thoughts. Only one important thing is the security, we stay near the entrance but the door keep opening during the midnight. Also the password of the front door and bedroom door is just simple. Everyone is easy to know that.

CCzxiangTaishan isn't a very large city, and the hotel is conveniently located in the southern part of the downtown area, making it easy to get in and out by car. There's plenty of parking available. The hotel is situated within a Country Garden development, and the exterior still bears traces of the Country Garden Phoenix logo. I assume it was originally an amenity of the Country Garden complex, later outsourced or leased to the current owners. At first glance, the hotel facilities don't seem old, but after using them, I felt the maintenance wasn't quite up to par. For example, the electric curtains in the room couldn't be controlled, and the water pressure in the bathroom and toilet was relatively low. During my stay, there was also a noticeable odor emanating from the first-floor lobby restroom, indicating it needed repairs. Housekeeping also forgot to replenish toiletries and left a cleaning towel in the room – quite a few minor issues overall. Of course, the price during the off-season was very reasonable, about half of the original cost, offering good value for money.

GGuest UserWe booked this hotel for a weekend hiking trip to Mount Dayanshan. The environment was lovely, and the mountain view from the balcony was incredibly relaxing. I forgot to take pictures of the room, but the bathroom had a bathtub, which was perfect for a soothing soak after the hike. The only minor issue was that the hairdryer wasn't very powerful. The hotel also partners with the coffee shop at the entrance of Mount Dayanshan (I forgot to take a picture of that too!), offering discounts on exclusive drinks, but unfortunately, we only saw the offer after we'd already eaten and returned. I highly recommend the breakfast – definitely worth the price! We ate until we were stuffed. They had a great selection of both Chinese and Western options: fruits, salads, yogurt, fried eggs, noodles, hot dishes, milk, coffee, porridge, bread, ham... everything you could imagine! In fact, most of the photos I took were of the breakfast. For lunch, we tried their room service; the portions were quite generous. We ordered two dishes for two people and couldn't even finish them. After breakfast, we explored the hotel's back garden. The hotel also has a gym, a swimming pool, and a kids' play area, but we were too exhausted from hiking to try them out. The front desk staff was fantastic – very gentle, attentive, and professional! Finally, the hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Mount Dayanshan, which was very close and convenient. As complete beginners, we took our time hiking up and down Mount Dayanshan, and the whole trip took us about 3 hours.

GGuest UserThe services and facilities here are truly perfect for families with kids. Even on a rainy day, playing in the room's water feature was a joy for the children, and the balcony's water play area is conveniently connected to the shower, which is fantastic. The staff were also excellent; they readily provided extra duvets and slippers upon request. We even received a welcome fruit platter and a gift for the child. The only downside was the pool area. I saw two people scratch their feet on loose tiles in the pool. Also, the family rooms don't offer a view of the fireworks. The complimentary buffet breakfast required an extra 38 yuan because we exceeded the limit, but the food there wasn't even enough to satisfy a child, and they didn't replenish items once they ran out. I'd advise against eating there if you have to pay extra.

For a five-star hotel, it was worse than an Atour Hotel, with uncleaned tables and a limited selection. Also, there was no one managing the shuttle bus waiting area at Jinxu Station, and the hotel should provide a sign to guide people on where to queue.
