I took my mother for a weekend trip and chose the Xinyue Hotel, which provided an excellent experience throughout – perfect for a relaxing getaway in Mount Qingcheng. The hotel's location is superb. It's just a few minutes' drive to Mount Qingcheng, and there are many restaurants nearby, making it very convenient for finding food. We checked out Zhang Ciba and Bieyou Dongtian, both within a few minutes' walk. A stroll back to the hotel after dinner was incredibly pleasant. The high-speed train station shuttle service deserves special praise. The driver contacted us proactively in advance to inform us of the pick-up point. We were chauffeured in a comfortable Buick minivan, and the driver kindly helped with our luggage, making the whole journey effortless. There was a slight wait for check-in, but the lobby has a mini cafe. We ordered two sparkling waters to cool down, which made the wait quite enjoyable and relaxing. The potato chips in the room's mini-bar were absolutely delicious! In the evening, the hotel thoughtfully prepared a special pumpkin *laozao* soup, which was warm and comforting, and my mother loved it. We enjoyed a relaxing hot spring bath in the evening, and the hallway consistently offered warm lemon water – the attention to detail is truly impressive. The breakfast on the second day was also very tasty; I had the *zajiangmian*, which was incredibly delicious and highly recommended. Our dedicated butler was responsive and patiently answered all our questions. All the staff were friendly, gentle, and provided meticulous service. Upon check-out, we even received buckwheat tea as a parting gift, adding a lovely touch of ceremony. Overall, the stay was comfortable and relaxing, making it an excellent choice for a short leisure trip. You won't be disappointed staying here when visiting Mount Qingcheng. Honestly, I never write reviews, but this time I stayed in such a high-end guesthouse, so I just had to! First, it was my wife and my first time visiting Mount Qingcheng. When I first saw the price, I was a bit hesitant. But to make my wife happy, I went for it. We arrived quite late, so after a quick check-in, I took a bath and went straight to bed. The next morning, oh my goodness, I was truly amazed. The mountains, mist, birdsong, fragrant flowers, and running water all combined to create an absolutely stunning experience. It felt like stumbling into a fairyland! For breakfast, honestly, the variety isn't huge, but it's incredibly delicious! Especially since the guesthouse has its own bread oven, so the bread is freshly baked – you know what I mean. I had no desire to go out and explore. Since we checked in late, I discussed with the housekeeper to extend our check-out to 2 PM, and by chance, we ended up having afternoon tea! What a pleasant surprise. All in all, it far exceeded my expectations! Maybe it's what living the life of the rich feels like! Highly recommend!

This guesthouse exceeded my expectations! The entire courtyard is massive, nestled against the mountains, offering a tranquil and peaceful retreat. The exterior is charmingly antique, with numerous tea tables where you can chat and enjoy drinks with friends. Inside, the rooms are very modern and stylishly decorated. I absolutely loved the 270-degree floor-to-ceiling mountain view window in the room. Facing the mist-shrouded green hills, I felt completely at peace, and a sense of calm joy spontaneously arose within me. The guesthouse's location is excellent. Turn right and walk for five minutes to reach the ancient town behind the mountain, where you can enjoy an evening stroll and experience the local vibe. Turn left, and you'll quickly arrive at the picturesque Wulonggou scenic area. The owner is very friendly and provides excellent service. I added them on WeChat, and they were always responsive, answering all my questions and proactively offering many practical travel tips. I've already recommended it to my family and friends, and I look forward to visiting again!

The front desk staff was incredibly kind and made sure to arrange our two rooms on the same floor, which was very convenient for my family. The rooms were well-equipped, clean, and the beds were super comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful, and the hotel environment was beautiful. A truly great experience. Double Hot Spring Pass: The environment was nice, but it required a swimsuit, so I didn't try it out. Goodnight Sweet Soup: We received two portions daily, and during our stay, we enjoyed osmanthus and white fungus soup and barley sago pudding. Both were delicious. They even gave us some Kudin tea when we checked out.

We drove from Chengdu to the hotel... The journey was smooth, and the hotel was easy to find (just follow the navigation). I booked two king-size rooms with breakfast on Trip.com for around 560 RMB (checking in on Friday, checking out on Saturday). At check-in, the staff upgraded our room to an executive room! ♥️♥️♥️♥️ The hotel is huge and beautifully decorated inside. There's a bookstore, tea house, KTV, and gym (I saw it advertised but didn't go). There are also plenty of dining options: a buffet and Chinese restaurants (Deyuan and another one). You really don't need to leave the hotel to have a good time. 😉 Of course, our main reason for choosing this hotel was the outdoor hot springs. (It's a bit crazy to go to hot springs in this weather, to be honest 😅). Their hot springs don't open in the morning 😔, only from 2 PM (I thought it would be like Huashuiwan, where you can soak in the morning) until 10 PM. There are many outdoor pools to choose from, such as tangerine peel, rose, ginger, and mineral water pools... quite a lot (the names might not be 100% accurate, but they're close enough). The water temperatures also vary, from 35-40℃. I really think soaking in the hot springs here would be incredibly comfortable in spring or autumn. 👍 Soaking in the summer is definitely quite an experience! 😅 Another great thing about the hotel's hot springs is that you can change in your room or near the pools. It's very convenient to shower, wash your hair, and blow dry after soaking. The hotel even thoughtfully provides spin-dryers (so your swimwear isn't dripping wet) and plenty of disposable bags for wet clothes. Overall, these small details were very well considered (there's even warm water or lemon water available near the hot spring pools). The hotel's breakfast is from 7 AM to 10 AM, and the variety is incredibly rich! Super delicious! 🤩👍 All of the above was positive... now for some suggestions! 😂 1. The hotel doesn't have an indoor heated swimming pool, or even a deeper outdoor pool for swimming. Most of the pools are more like splash pads for children. 2. The 'robot delivery for in-room amenities' service is basically just for show. It's a nice idea, providing convenience for guests to scan a QR code and order daily necessities like water (4 complimentary bottles daily), slippers (2 complimentary pairs), etc. It seemed like a fantastic service, something I hadn't seen in a hotel before. But after you scan and place an order, it just says 'preparing' and stays that way until you check out. When you try to cancel, worrying the robot made a wasted trip, and call the customer service number provided, no one answers. 📞 I think the hotel's intention and creativity are good, but they should follow through. Or, as the front desk suggested, perhaps sometimes too many items are ordered for the robot to deliver. If that's the case, they could put a notice on their mini-program interface, so guests would be aware when placing additional orders. 😂 From initial excitement... to 24 hours later with no news. 😂

Facilities: The facilities are mostly in good condition, except for the tea room being under construction. One curtain in our room was broken, hanging halfway and looking unsightly, and we weren't informed about it. All the curtains were a bit too short, so we could see the outdoor lights even at 11 PM when trying to sleep. Hygiene: Our room had a courtyard, and the tatami mat in the courtyard had some fallen leaves and dust. The sun umbrella had standing water from the rain, hanging right over our heads. It was clear that it hadn't been double-checked before guest arrival, which was a bit disappointing. Environment: Absolutely wonderful, every corner was picture-perfect and enchanting. The garden was very well-maintained. Service: 1: The hotel's signs weren't clear enough. Initially, the driver dropped us off at the lower parking lot. Although there was a big sign, there was no indication at the entrance that vehicles could continue further, which was confusing for both the driver and us. Since the second parking lot is closest to the front desk, why not put up a larger sign at the entrance? 2: We checked in standing up. There were clearly sofas available, but we weren't offered a seat, nor were we offered any welcome tea or drinks. The difference compared to Relais & Chateau in France is very noticeable. 3: The front desk responded promptly and actively dealt with issues. However, the kitchen closing at 8 PM is a bit early. 4: Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, and the service was excellent. Welcome Fruit: The fruit in the room was very fresh. Minibar: The selection was great.

They offer three complimentary sessions daily: morning exercises led by a therapist, afternoon yoga, and evening aqua therapy – absolutely fantastic! On weekends, they also host children's craft activities. Plus, booking a stay automatically includes complimentary hot spring tickets, with over 20 different pools to enjoy. The hallway near the breakfast restaurant has a lovely artistic ambiance. A thoughtful touch in the room is the collapsible clothes drying rack.

Staying at the Qingyuan International Hotel for my Mount Qingcheng vacation was an absolutely fantastic experience! After a day of hiking, a soak in the springs melted away all my fatigue instantly. The value for money is truly excellent. The staff were also gentle and polite, and the breakfast spread was rich and varied. It was a perfect forest retreat, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dujiangyan!
