"Staying in a mountain-view king room at the Lindao Hotel was a delightful experience. The room was clean and tidy, and the front desk staff, especially the young lady, provided warm and thoughtful service. Her use of ”our place” made me feel instantly at home. The hotel's overall environment is excellent. The room's window directly faces the ancient city of Guanxian, with rolling mountains in the foreground. It's about three kilometers from the Dujiangyan scenic area. Recalling the rushing Minjiang River at the foot of the mountains, the two-thousand-year-old irrigation project, the 'blue tears' at night, and the vast, fertile Chengdu Plain, I sat at the small table in my room, savoring the hotel's complimentary scented tea. I marveled at the ancient wisdom of the water conservancy engineers and listened to 'Xiaodu' (a smart speaker) recount the city's history and culture. It's a place worth pausing, worth staying, and worth returning to!"

"This was my first time staying at this hotel, and I was lucky to choose a lake view room. It had a balcony with a stunning panoramic view. The weather in Mount Qingcheng wasn't too hot these past two days, and it even rained the night we stayed. The next day, after the rain cleared up, my family and I enjoyed a pleasant stroll by the lake after breakfast. It was so relaxing! My kids were also thrilled to see the black swans and fish in the lake. I added Manager Xiaoxiao's WeChat, and the service was excellent. I'll definitely be back! 😃"

"The room was good, and I ended up changing rooms after I arrived. Originally, the price difference between the two rooms was only about ten yuan, so I asked the front desk to upgrade me, but they said they couldn't and told me to cancel and re-book. I hadn't even paid yet, and then the next person who came got an upgraded room type 😂😂😂. I don't know why they couldn't upgrade me, it was only a few bucks, but oh well. However, they did give me a one-hour late checkout the next day, which allowed us to finish our meal peacefully, and I'm very grateful for that. I'll definitely stay here again next time."

"Every summer, I come to Mount Qingcheng, and I've pretty much stayed at all the famous hotels and guesthouses here, with Six Senses being the only one left. So I decided to stay for a night. The reason I waited so long to try Six Senses is because of the mixed reviews online – some praise it to the heavens, others tear it down, making me hesitant to spend money unnecessarily. However, since I've practically stayed everywhere else, I finally gave in to the urge to check out Six Senses! Let me start with the conclusion: the experience was truly disappointing, even a huge letdown! Why? First, its location right next to the Qingcheng Mountain High-Speed Rail Station means there's no sense of secluded retreat at all, which completely undermines the Six Senses brand's reputation for seclusion. Upon entering, it felt hot and stuffy everywhere, not cool at all. This is because the vegetation around the hotel is too sparse, and the trees aren't lush, causing the ground to be scorched. It felt like I had entered a farmhouse guesthouse in Qingcheng Mountain town, completely lacking the ethereal charm of Mount Qingcheng. Moreover, the hotel doesn't have large water features, further diminishing any sense of vibrancy! To put it bluntly, it's not even as good as the adjacent Howard Johnson Qingcheng, which has an earthy charm that makes you feel refreshed and peaceful as soon as you enter. Furthermore, the overall design of the hotel is terribly poor; it's a maze with no clear hierarchy or aesthetic appeal. The room design is even worse, truly embodying the 'upscale farmhouse' aesthetic – neither ancient nor modern, neither rustic nor sophisticated. The interior space of the room is partitioned into small compartments, the lighting is dim, and the balcony is incredibly tiny and mosquito-ridden, making it impossible to relax and enjoy a vacation! The flow within the room is chaotic; the minibar and fridge are placed next to the bed, and when you want to turn off the lights for sleep, you can't find the switch, having to get up and go to the sofa to turn it off. The fan is impossible to turn off easily, and there are hardly any power outlets for phones and laptops! I don't know which designer came up with this anti-human design; it's as if they deliberately made guests uncomfortable! What's even more ridiculous is that the king room and garden room are designed with one above the other, making it easy to see people downstairs from upstairs! Is this to make it convenient for neighbors to visit? It's so 'down-to-earth' that it feels like living in a residential complex! Where's the vacation feeling in that? In short, the stay was very unpleasant. The room wasn't spacious enough, nor was it cozy! You couldn't comfortably lie down or sit up! The room design of Six Senses lacks the grandeur of Qingcheng Songpin, the style of Zuowang Senlin, the ethereal quality of Qingxia Shanju, and the层次感 (sense of layering) of Qingcheng Mountain Resort! However, Six Senses does have its merits, primarily its excellent service. Before check-in, they call to confirm, and after check-in, a butler contacts you, sending various reminders throughout your stay and assisting with booking complimentary services within the hotel. If anything is needed in the room, just ask, and it's delivered immediately. This aspect was quite satisfactory; the service can be said to be the best among all hotels in Qingcheng Mountain, and this alone lives up to the Six Senses brand. Also, the breakfast variety is quite rich and of good quality; the yogurt is homemade by the hotel, and the cherry tomatoes are homegrown. The only inconvenience is having to run up and down between floors in the restaurant to get food! To summarize, Six Senses is worth at most 1,000 yuan per night. Such a high room rate is simply overpriced and a rip-off. Staying there a second time would be a complete waste of money!"

"We took our kids on a trip to western Sichuan, and Dujiangyan was our last stop before heading back to Chengdu. The Holiday Inn really lived up to its reputation. A big thank you to Leah and Andy at the front desk for their warm and enthusiastic service. The kids were finally back in the city and were very happy and content."

"This hotel is adorned with numerous panda sculptures throughout, and the courtyard is quite charming. The facilities are thoughtfully designed; I was pleasantly surprised to find hooks in the room for hanging clothes, which is perfect for guests who like to keep things tidy and wash clothes. There's also a gym on the second floor with a distinct Southeast Asian vibe. Overall, a great experience, definitely worth 5 stars."

"I had a wonderful stay at Starway Hotel Dujiangyan and would happily stay here again. The location was excellent. It was within easy walking distance of Guanxian Ancient Town, the South Bridge (Nanqiao), the Dujiangyan Irrigation System, and the lively streets filled with local restaurants, cafés, and shops. There were also convenience stores nearby, making it a perfect base for exploring Dujiangyan on foot. The ladies at the front desk were exceptional. Although we didn’t speak the same language, they were incredibly patient and friendly, using a translation app to communicate with me and always making sure I had everything I needed. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. After spending the day sightseeing in the summer heat, it was such a relief to return to a room with excellent air conditioning that kept it nice and cool. Unfortunately, I had to leave early and missed breakfast, but the staff kindly offered to prepare a takeaway breakfast for me, which was a thoughtful gesture and very much appreciated. They also looked after my luggage for the entire day after I checked out, allowing me to enjoy more sightseeing before my train without having to carry my bags. The genuine kindness and hospitality of the staff made my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Starway Hotel Dujiangyan to anyone visiting this beautiful city."

"Last night, after my friend checked into the hotel, they messaged me. I had booked a king-sized bed for them, but upon receiving the room card and entering the room, they found it was a twin room. The air conditioning and air purifier were already on (which made them initially think the experience was good). They immediately asked the front desk, who informed them of a system error (what a lame excuse). My friend, being understanding, accepted this, and was given a new room card. Upon entering the second room, a strong smell of fresh renovation was noticeable. They thought running the air conditioner would fix it, but less than five minutes later, a staff member brought an air purifier to the room. It was then my friend realized they had become a 'human air purifier' due to the strong smell. In less than half an hour, they started feeling unwell and contacted the front desk again, complaining of dizziness. The front desk staff then moved them to yet another room, but it also had the smell of formaldehyde. Realizing they were still acting as the 'human purifier', my friend only managed to sleep for 3 hours the whole night. In the morning, the milk for breakfast was watered down and tasteless, and the coffee was also very weak. The only positive was the excellent service; everything else regarding the facilities and products was just awful."

"This trip to Dujiangyan was a last-minute decision, and I just randomly picked this hotel, which turned out to be a really pleasant surprise! First off, the price is super budget-friendly, perfect for students and working professionals. The location is incredibly convenient too – it’s just a short walk to Nanqiao Bridge, the Dujiangyan Irrigation Project, and Xuanhua Gate. Even the giant panda statue at Yangtianwo is within walking distance. Shuijie (Water Street) and the snack street are right nearby, making evenings quite lively. The room itself was spotless, and the solid wood furniture gave it a really cozy, sturdy feel. The lighting was perfectly adjusted and comfortable, so no eye strain while scrolling on my phone. The air conditioning was very responsive, cooling down the room instantly. And a big plus: no musty smell in the bathroom, which really put my mind at ease. The front desk staff were also very welcoming. I'll definitely be back!"

"This guesthouse-like accommodation offers very warm service. The surroundings are quiet and comfortable, and the room is clean and spacious. The floor-to-ceiling windows provide a great view, with mountains visible right outside. The buffet breakfast is delicious and varied; although there aren't many options in each category, everything tastes great. The front desk service is excellent – they are very generous with giving out Nongfu Spring bottled water and 1.5-liter small barrels of water. They can help arrange transportation to Panda Valley, and it's convenient to get a ride-hailing car from the entrance to Dujiangyan and Mount Qingcheng. The only thing that could be improved is the quality of the disposable toiletries. The hot springs aren't ideal in summer, and the pool is quite small, more suitable for kids to splash around in; I didn't see any guests using it this time. I forgot my sun hat when checking out, and the owner kindly mailed it to me in Chengdu city for free, which I really appreciate!"
