🏞️ Environment and atmosphere:
The hotel is hidden in the tea mountains and bamboo sea, and the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows frame the mountains and rivers into a flowing painting. I especially like the boundless waterscape design of the lobby. It is like a fairyland when the clouds and mist are lingering in the morning, and the sunset glow dyes the whole sky red in the evening. Every corner is full of oriental Zen.
🛏️ Room experience:
The room is spacious and comfortable, the MINI bar is free and there is Anji ** white tea. The combination of Parma Water shampoo + Dyson hair dryer is very advanced, and the night bed service also thoughtfully prepares good night sweet soup and mugwort to help sleep.
🍽️ Catering service:
I thought the catering would be perfunctory, but I was really surprised by the ”Liyuan Restaurant”! Seasonal bamboo shoots, braised river shrimps, Jiangnan veal, sea urchin tofu, etc. are super delicious, and there are local specialty scrambled eggs, with rich egg fragrance and endless aftertaste.

The 24-hour private butler responds very quickly, the book bar is open all day, there are a variety of outdoor activities and handicraft activities during the day, and there are also activities such as flying sky lanterns, cocktail parties, outdoor movies, etc. at night. GGuest UserTravelers beware! The photos advertising Ke Gamer do not resemble to actual room and the food is horrible. I opted to upgrade to the private hot spring villa for close to 4000rmb a night expecting a high class experience but was instead highly disappointed!
We arrived on a Saturday and reserved a table at the restaurant, famished from traveling and expecting a wonderful meal. They did not mention that this was a set menu (only for the package that was included with the room) so there was no option to select my dishes nor to explain our gluten free diet. First bread came (couldn’t eat it, gluten) then a mushroom chicken soup that was difficult to swallow. Over salted and the chicken was rubbery. Then came there version of a kimchi that was ok. Shrimp next that was battered (gluten) and smothered in mayonnaise, and then an over salted spicy beef dish and inedible veggies dish.At this point we decided to leave and opted instead to pay for food delivery. When we shared this information with the assistant helping us he messaged me saying you are a foreigner would you prefer chicken wings or a steak. I’ve been living in China 10 years and never spoken to so rudely. My gf then wanted to have a soak in the hot spring and have a fire because the rain had stopped but she was told no they could not do this for us that night. That’s when I added the wechat and she deleted him so she would no longer have to talk to someone so rude. We did find it strange that even though I was now in communication with him he still attempted to friend my gf several times, very disrespectful!! After I explained how unsatisfactory the service was to that point he made more of an effort and we did get to enjoy a relaxing evening outside. The next day we stayed away from the restaurant not wanting to have that experience again so ordered delivery service again, decent food for delivery. We did attempt the on site restaurant one more time before checking out for breakfast and this was awful as well. Cold eggs, bacon and sausage. They did have a nice assortment of breads which we could not eat (gluten) so we had a yogurt container and coffee before leaving.
One part of the stay was an assistant driving us into town to a nice tea shop. He took us tot he location and offered to help us select a shop. He was very friendly and helpful inside the shop to explain the differences in teas and get us a good deal. We ended up purchasing 2 boxes of tea to take home.
Overall I did not enjoy the stay at this overpriced and falsely advertised hotel. This is certainly one case when we did not get what we paid for. Wishing you better luck than we had.

GGuest UserThe room design is perfect, the room is of normal size, and the configuration, drinks and fruits are all available. The price of the meals is slightly higher, but the taste is good. There is a large courtyard outside, with slides, sand pools, and swimming pools. The two children had a lot of fun playing, and the birds and flowers were really fragrant, very comfortable. The room rate doubles during holidays, but it is still acceptable during normal times! Local specialties were also given when checking out!

MMs. Xu（Alisa)Overall, the experience was comfortable and relaxing. The environment, service, and views were all excellent. Every staff member, from the concierge to the kindly elderly driver, was incredibly gentle, always ready to help, and proactive in finding solutions to any request. I slept wonderfully! Our butler, IDA, was also extremely accommodating and attentive. We ordered a BBQ set, which was meant for 4-5 people, but our group of 8 couldn't even finish it – the portions were incredibly generous.
Moving on to the drawbacks: Having to wear a swim cap in the pool? For a 5-star hotel, this feels like such a cheap and out-of-place requirement, more suited for a 3-star establishment. While the hygiene was generally good, some of the facilities felt a bit dated. For instance, the sofa in our villa was quite worn and discolored. For a hotel costing over 10,000 RMB a night, you'd expect them to have professional sofa cleaners and maintain them weekly. This is definitely an area where the hotel falls short. The complimentary toiletries were also surprisingly cheap; most 5-star hotels provide branded, higher-quality products. It seems they're cutting corners even on these small amenities. A hotel's ability to attract repeat guests really boils down to these crucial details, and the management here seems quite indifferent.
Furthermore, our villa was only about 30 meters from the lake, yet direct access was prohibited. We were required to buy a ticket, then go to the front desk, and wait for a car to pick us up. Why couldn't they simply open a short, direct path to the lake? The water park costs around 150 RMB for access to five activities. It's an absolute rip-off and completely unnecessary; I strongly advise against it unless you've truly never experienced a water park before and are just curious.
Despite these significant shortcomings, I would still rate the overall experience a 5 out of 5.

GGuest UserFacilities: As a resort, the overall facilities are comprehensive. There are restaurants, an infinity pool, a gym, a bar, a cinema, and a spa, all well-appointed. We booked a stacked villa on the mountain, and the shuttle service was very prompt, making it convenient to get around.
Ambiance: The views are fantastic, with two tea mountains right in front. Opening the window to this sight was truly therapeutic.
Cleanliness: Cleanliness was generally good. We visited in summer and expected a lot of mosquitoes, but their mosquito control was quite effective, as we barely got bitten. However, the teacups in the room had some unwashed tea stains, which seemed like an oversight by housekeeping.
Service: The service was excellent and very attentive, especially at the spa, where the experience was wonderful.
Overall, we were very satisfied. It's perfect for a relaxing getaway, and we would definitely return.

CCelinehuoMy husband and I had the most incredible vacation experience at Club Med Anji. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality by our lovely GO friend Jackie. The resort's stunning location surrounded by picturesque landscapes left us in awe.
The lobby staff wearing pink at Club Med Anji went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our stay was perfect. They were attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist us with any request.
Big thanks to Jackie, her genuine care and dedication created a welcoming atmosphere that made us feel like part of the Club Med family.
One of the highlights of our stay was the Bar team taking good care of our anniversary with
personalized attention, I cannot forget to mention Fitz from the bar team, whose exceptional service added an extra touch of warmth to our stay. Having been to various Club Med resorts, I have encountered many talented staff, but Anji team truly stood out.
Last but not the least we really enjoy the lovely conversation with Hotel manager Jarod and Leisure manager Kevin.
Thank you all for such relaxing and enjoyable days! We certainly will be back!!

DDuijiudanggeGFrom the moment I stepped into the hotel, the front desk staff greeted me with a smile. Check-in was incredibly fast, and they thoughtfully recommended some fun local spots and great restaurants. As for the room, the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, though I felt the door design was a bit odd. All the toiletries were well-stocked.
The hotel's breakfast offered a good variety of both Chinese and Western dishes, fresh fruits, and local specialties. The taste was quite good! And the view from the hotel's terrace was truly lovely!
The hotel's location is also excellent. Since it was a public holiday (National Day), there were probably more people, so the shuttle might have a bit of a wait. However, it's very close to most attractions, and you can easily walk to them. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

GGuest UserThe stay was absolutely fantastic! Upon entering the room, we were immediately struck by how clean and fresh it felt. The room was beautifully decorated, creating a really cozy atmosphere. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable – we just wanted to sink into it and never leave! The hotel facilities were also excellent and well-maintained. The TV, air conditioning, and other appliances all worked perfectly, and there was always plenty of hot water, making for wonderfully comfortable showers. The complimentary toiletries in the bathroom were also of good quality, which was a pleasant surprise. The service at the hotel was absolutely outstanding. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, always ready to help promptly with any issues we had. Breakfast was also very generous, offering a wide variety of delicious options. The hotel's location was also very convenient, with excellent transport links nearby, making it easy to explore.

GGuest UserFor work reasons, I chose Manwanhua. The environment was exceptional, and I felt like I was on vacation. The tea plantations and buildings coexist harmoniously, and the infinity pool, reflecting the Metasequoia trees, creates a modern, stylish atmosphere. The housekeeping was proactive, responsive, and welcoming. The coffee was excellent, and the metal fence around the pool was a creative way to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee. In the evening, the breeze blew, and gazing at the stars was a relaxing experience.
