Serenity resort Amazing hotel - would highly recommend staying here. We stayed at serenity resort for 2 nights on arriving at Koh Chang from Bangkok. The location is so so idyllic and relaxing, absolutely beautiful. We also stayed on the west side of the island for a couple of nights and while it is quieter on the east side of the island (ie, there is no point in leaving the resort in the evening as there is nothing really to do on the east side after dark) this is exactly what we were after. The staff could not be more helpful and accommodating. Food and drinks at the restaurant were great and reasonably priced. Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Lovely view. As other reviews have said, if you are staying here you will likely want your own transport so you can explore. We rented a moped from the resort at a very reasonable price. If you want to rent a car make sure you have an intl driving permit (takes a few mins to obtain but must do whilst in the UK). There’s barely any traffic on this side of the island so the drive down to long beach at the south of the island felt very safe on a moped despite the hills (and would be the same in a car). The resort staff recommended us to do this and then get kayaks over to Koh ngam, which we did and was a great experience! The other option is to rent a taxi for a day (we were quoted c2500 baht for 6 hours) and they can drop you wherever you like and wait for you. Thanks again for a lovely stay at serenity resort!!

A Tropical Paradise with World-Class Service! We recently stayed at The Aiyapura, and it was hands-down one of the best resort experiences we’ve had. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful and sits right on the beach, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. A few highlights from our stay: • Dining: The food was delicious! If you are looking for a perfect getaway with great vibes and excellent service, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!

I really liked this hotel for its location – the sea is right nearby, and there's a great beach and an excellent pool. Everything is very beautiful, cozy, and clean. We loved our room; the mattress and pillows were incredibly comfortable and soft! The bed linen was pristine white, and the towels were white too. Our room was cleaned every day, and we were completely satisfied. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with different dishes every day, and everything was delicious 😋. The restaurant with a sea view was super 👍. The staff are very polite and always try to help! This is a comfortable hotel, and I can confidently recommend it for a vacation!!!

”This resort is a solid choice for families with children, largely due to the pool slides, which are a genuine hit with the kids. We stayed in a standard king room that was well laid out and featured a balcony, though it unfortunately offered no view. The only maintenance issue we noticed was a faint, unpleasant odor coming from the shower drain. The beach directly in front of the resort is relatively small, but the shoreline extends for a long distance, making it pleasant for walks. While my wife had hoped for bluer water and whiter sand, the overall experience was still quite enjoyable. Dining options at the resort restaurant were average. Beyond the resort grounds, there isn't much to do nearby; you will need to drive to other destinations to find shops or better restaurants.

The overall experience was alright, but the facilities need some care. The water park is old and some of the slides are breaking down, they don’t look safe. The hotel is divided in two areas, one across the road and one by the beach. If you are staying across the road you can’t use the pool from the beach side, which is a bummer and a big downside. Would check other places first.

I booked two floors in two different villas. They contacted me in advance and warned me that one of them would be replaced, as the previous guests wanted to extend their stay. They upgraded my room to a larger apartment with a sea view, which I absolutely loved. This was my first time at Koh Chang, so I give the experience a 5++. A personal, generous KHRAPP to Uncle Seryozha and his son Vladislav, and excellent, responsive service on site. The second room also lived up to all expectations, both in location and service. We were initially skeptical about the breakfasts at 500 baht per person, but ultimately decided they were definitely worth it. A good buffet, organic coffee, and pastries. There's also a small cafe nearby. We tried it—the food was good, but the administrator said that every table was often reserved (and obviously not fully occupied, giving the impression that either the adjacent villas were prioritized or that the staff were reluctant to open). The grounds are gigantic, apparently encompassing several different resorts. It would be difficult to navigate these wonderfully landscaped grounds without a moped. The service staff helped us with this, and after check-in, they brought the scooter right to our rooms. The beaches and beach bars (Shambala in particular) with their pools were absolutely delightful. Having driven around the island, I can say that one of the best beaches was right next to my room. I'm posting views from the beach opposite Apartment 1128. I don't have any photos of the accommodations, only videos, so I'll try to cut them up and upload them later.

Отдыхали в начале сентября. Приехали на 3 дня что бы отметить день рождения. Нам все очень понравилось. Все как мы и хотели: комфортно, красиво, уединенно. Наше бунгало выходило на море, у нас были свои шезлонги. Большой общий бассейн при отеле, с удовольствием там плавали. В море мы не плаваем, но гуляли по берегу утром и вечером. Завтраки отличные. Рядом находятся виллы разного размера, которые можно арендовать. Отель находится недалеко от пирса, что тоже плюс, не нужно ездить по серпантину

First of all, I would sincerely would like to say Thank You So Much for your service and we enjoyed our stay at your hotel. Everything about hotel is extremely good and we couldn't find the best suitable words to describe it. Location, cleanliness, foods, friendly helpful staffs and quiet environment everything is great. The most satisfying service is the helpfulness of the staffs in transportation processes and they can handle every request. We would like to give 9stars and it should be 10 if the price of breakfast buffet were a little less compared to the variety of foods displayed.

This is a good 3-star hotel. The rooms are a bit run-down and need renovation, but it's clearly underway, with some rooms and areas already being worked on. Housekeeping was done almost every day (only missed a couple of times during our 12-night stay), but the cleaning itself was about a 4 out of 5; the wet cleaning could be done more often. On the first day, we were given a room on the 3rd floor of the main building, as requested. We were also pleasantly surprised with a wedding anniversary greeting. The balcony with a sea view was fantastic! However, the door to the balcony was translucent and faced almost directly onto a busy road. We ended up tracking traffic all night. The next day, they moved us to an inner building without any fuss. This room was pretty decent too, but construction workers started laying tiles outside our window at 8 AM… 😄. The room was a bit tired, and the air conditioning was noisy at night, but for the price, I think it was pretty good value. A new bar opened on Dec 22nd, but on Dec 23rd, our mood was soured when they tried to charge hotel guests 1000 baht. They eventually resolved the incident and apologized, but the situation with this new bar and pool remained a bit tense. Overall, it was a good stay.

The hotel did not include breakfast, the hotel looked very stylish, the room was okay, the location was good, there was a lot of food around, but the hotel room had mold and odor, and there was a serious mold odor when we entered the room. It's the same for both rooms, and then requesting another room is the same. The order cannot be cancelled, so it can only be sent for one night.
