"The location is superb! The environment is first-rate and it's impeccably clean. It's also very peaceful. You can open the windows for fresh air, and the views are absolutely stunning! The surrounding area is home to R&D centers of world-renowned companies. It's just a 3-minute walk from Shin-Takashima Station (Exit 2); turn right as you come out. Dining options nearby are a bit limited. Complimentary samples are available at the front desk, but they aren't proactively offered, so you need to pick them up yourself. Tea bags are provided, and the coffee is delicious! The night views are lovely!"

"The room was clean and comfortable. However, the bathroom exhaust fan was very weak and quite dusty, and the vent near the door was also covered in dust. If that doesn’t bother you, this is otherwise a great place to stay."

"I stayed at this hotel for four nights on a business trip, as its location made my morning and evening commutes to my office in Japan very convenient. My accompanying spouse also found it very easy to explore various popular destinations in Yokohama independently via the light rail. The hotel boasts a superb location; an airport shuttle stop is conveniently located right near the hotel, and there are plenty of dining options both downstairs and within the building. However, the price difference on Ctrip between rooms with and without breakfast is unusually large and doesn't seem to align with the hotel's actual breakfast charge. I suggest verifying and updating this so that guests can more easily choose breakfast-inclusive options when booking through Ctrip."

"Our deluxe twin room was excellent. It was very well-equipped with all the necessary small appliances. Complimentary 24/7 water and coffee are available on the 7th floor. From Central Avenue Station, take Exit 4, and a direct elevator will take you straight to the hotel entrance, which is extremely convenient. Just a heads-up: other exits do not have elevators to street level."

"Opened just a year ago after a complete renovation, this is a very modern hotel. Since all the ground-floor, ocean-facing spaces are restaurants, the hotel lobby is uniquely located on the 12th floor. This scenic lobby also doubles as a café, where guests can sit on the outdoor balcony overlooking the view. There's a designated smoking area by the side entrance of the lobby. The facilities are brand new, and the layout is clean, spacious, and stylish. We stayed in a triple room, and even with suitcases open, there was still plenty of space – perfectly suited to Chinese guests' preferences. The bedding is high quality and available for purchase. Let's talk about breakfast. Upon check-in, guests are informed of two options: Japanese breakfast, served at the 12th-floor café, and Western breakfast, served at the 1st-floor Western restaurant. The Japanese option offers three set menus, while the Western option features four main sets. After ordering, you can help yourself to the buffet bar for salads, drinks, bread, and more. The Western breakfast was so delicious that we didn't get a chance to try the Japanese one. Regarding the hotel's location, opinions may vary. Most people might choose to stay in Sakuragicho or Minato Mirai, as this hotel is a bit off the beaten path, situated near Yamashita Park. The Summer Festival is held here, allowing visitors to truly experience the atmosphere of traditional Japanese festivals. The hotel faces the sea, directly opposite the Hikawa Maru ocean liner. As the only surviving international ocean liner from WWII, it's definitely worth boarding and exploring. It's a 5-minute walk from the hotel to the subway station, providing easy access to all Yokohama stops. Directly across the street is a bus stop with direct service to Haneda Airport, with buses running almost every hour. Within a 5-minute walk, you'll find Takashimaya department store; Chinatown is 10 minutes away, as is a massive Don Quijote store. A lifestyle plaza is a 20-minute walk, and there's also a Montbell outlet store where we spent four hours. This outlet store offers tax-free shopping, but it requires downloading a third-party app and incurs a 3% service fee, which makes the process a bit inconvenient. Yokohama truly lives up to its reputation as an international port city. Around the hotel, you'll find a wide array of Western restaurants, with impeccable ambiance and cuisine, and even handsome waiters. It's a very cosmopolitan city."

"I'm genuinely so pleased with this place, I absolutely have to rave about it! First off, the location is incredibly convenient, super close to Kawasaki Station. I took the Tobu Line from Tokyo Station, and it was less than 30 minutes. I actually think it would be perfectly fine to stay here even if you're planning to explore central Tokyo. It's also just a 10-minute walk to Keikyu Kawasaki Station, making the trip to Haneda Airport a breezy 30 minutes – so convenient! However, a crucial tip: when you exit the station, *do not* go down to the first floor! Head straight out from the second floor of the station, and you'll see the hotel's main entrance right there. You won't find the entrance if you're on the ground floor. I actually spent quite a while wandering around on the first floor following my map, until a very kind Japanese gentleman personally guided us to the hotel's front desk. I was so thankful for his help! 🙏 Later, I discovered a trick: searching for the hotel's breakfast restaurant on Google Maps makes it much easier to locate (I've included a screenshot in my photos). The hotel is quite new, and the service is truly excellent. My friend had sent a package from Shinjuku to the hotel, and when I checked in, the front desk staff promptly retrieved it for me and even had it delivered to my room along with my luggage. Talk about service! I booked the most basic twin room, but it was surprisingly spacious. It wasn't on a low floor, and the city view from the window was quite expansive. What's more, the bathroom counter was generously sized – a rare find in Japanese hotels – with plenty of space for all my toiletries and cosmetics. While the room didn't provide skincare like toner or lotion, they did offer two packets of bubble bath, which made for a wonderfully fragrant soak in the evening! Furthermore, the hotel breakfast was genuinely delicious with a wide array of choices, including a live egg station for freshly prepared dishes. Overall, it felt like a lot of thought and effort went into it. They even provided paper cups in the beverage area so you could take drinks to go – such a thoughtful touch! Besides the convenient transportation, shopping is also a breeze if you're not looking for luxury brands. There's a Matsumoto Kiyoshi right downstairs, stocked with many popular trending products. Just past the connecting corridor from the hotel, you'll find a Montbell store with a good selection, and importantly, they offer tax refunds! There are also tons of dining options nearby, including a yakiniku restaurant visited by Goro (from *Kodoku no Gurume*), though unfortunately, I couldn't find it. I ended up at a slightly pricier but truly delicious one inside 'Dice' nearby! I stayed for one night during the summer on July 9th, and the room, including breakfast for two, cost just over ¥1200. While not exactly cheap, it offered significantly better value for money compared to hotels in central Tokyo! What's more, when I checked Trip.com after my trip, I saw that the same room type was ¥300 cheaper on July 12th! That's incredible value! If I ever visit Tokyo again, I fully intend to stay here."

"The room was exceptionally clean, and the entire hotel felt neat and well-maintained. The location is also superb. The in-room bathroom featured a practical dry/wet separation, and they even offer a spacious public bath on the first floor for guests. It's conveniently located very close to Kannai Station, with Lawson, 7-Eleven, and FamilyMart convenience stores right next door. Yokohama Stadium is also just a stone's throw away. This makes it a perfect choice for those visiting Yokohama or looking to avoid the hustle and bustle of Tokyo. It truly lives up to its reputation as a hotel with absolutely no flaws! I hope they continue to maintain this high standard."

"Shin Yokohama Prince Hotel: Clean and Comfortable, Despite its Age The Shin Yokohama Prince Hotel offers a clean and comfortable stay, even though it may be slightly older. While the rooms might be on the smaller side, they provide a good space for rest and relaxation. A particular highlight seems to be the excellent condition of the showers and the cleanliness of the toilets. These are important aspects of a comfortable stay, and it's great to hear they are well-maintained. If you're looking for a clean and comfortable hotel in Shin Yokohama, where a good night's sleep is a priority, this hotel could be a good option, even if it doesn't offer the most spacious rooms."

"Kawasaki Nikko is centrally located at Kawasaki, close to shopping and train station. I spent a night there before catching up my return flight. I enjoyed shopping at Kawasaki town. The hotel was build quite some years back but maintenance and clealiness is acceptable. There are 2lifts serving the guest room and mayneed a bit of wauting time, but it is acceptable. Breakfast is accepyable but nothing to shout about and spread is also quite limited. Keiyu Express train to Haneda Airport is about 12min walk away and within 30min you will be at Haneda Terminal 3"

"I've written my impressions of the hotel as well, so this will be a bit repetitive. I requested a room on a high floor with a good view, and they listened to my request, so I enjoyed my stay. The hotel was well-cleaned, but one thing that was a bit disappointing was that there was a lot of black mold on the side of the toilet remote control. Also, the cup in the sink was worn and scratched, so I didn't feel like using it. If these two points could be improved, it would be perfect. The bed mattress was also to my liking, and I slept soundly. I'll be taking the Shinkansen, so this hotel is really conveniently close to the station, the room was clean, and it's become one of my favorites. I've already made a reservation for September.
