Yokohama Hotels with Wifi

"This hotel is incredibly convenient, located right above the JR station and connected to a shopping mall with stores like Uniqlo and Muji. There's a grocery store on the basement level with super affordable sashimi and sushi. You can easily walk to the Red Brick Warehouse and Yamashita Park by the sea, making for a pleasant evening stroll. While the breakfast selection isn't huge, everything is delicious. Each floor has an ice machine and vending machines. For a hotel in Japan at this price point, the rooms are quite spacious, and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. It's super easy to get to places like Kamakura, Odawara, or even Tokyo from here, and all the main attractions in Yokohama itself are within walking distance. Compared to the InterContinental I stayed at last time I was in Yokohama, this place offers so much more value for money; the InterContinental was triple the price for one night! It's also more cost-effective than staying in Tokyo, where hotels generally offer even less value. Highly recommend!"

"very clean and safe even as a solo female traveler!! i do speak japanese so my experience might've been a little different but regardless, the staff always responded kindly and politely (even at night) no matter what i asked. also i liked that there's free cleaning every 4 days. the hotel is less than 10 minutes of walking to both kannai and bashamichi stations, and you can go to tokyo without transfers on minatomirai line from bashamichi station in just an hour if you wish you explore tokyo. if i have an opportunity, i'll definitely stay at this hotel again. the only slight issue there could be is the queue to washing machine as there's only two of them but for me personally it wasn't a dealbreaker so i had no problem waiting."

"The hotel's beachfront location is absolutely fantastic. The view from the 12th-floor reception is stunning, and there's a quiet bar where drinks are reasonably priced at around 50 yuan per glass. Sitting there with the sea breeze is incredibly relaxing. The room decor is very new, and it even has a capsule coffee machine. The bathroom is well-designed with a wet/dry separation, and the sink, shower, and toilet are all separate. Overall, highly recommended!"

"I stayed here because I was attending a Live concert in Bandori. Most hotels near Yokohama were booked, so I ended up staying in Shin-Yokohama. The transportation here is quite convenient, but JR trains between Shin-Yokohama and Yokohama are infrequent. The Live concert was at K-Arena, and taking the subway was more expensive than JR. The hotel is quite close if you exit from the JR station. If you're taking the subway and have a lot of luggage, you can exit from exit 9, which has an elevator to ground level. The hotel room was quite spacious; I stayed in a twin room. The front desk staff spoke good English, so communication was easy. I think there were also staff who spoke Chinese, as I encountered some in the second-floor restaurant. You need to swipe your card to enter the elevator on the first floor, and remember to take your room key with you when you leave the room. The room was as shown in the pictures. There was a desk with power outlets and charging ports, and also one by the bedside. Opening the window was a bit tricky as it had two locks; both needed to be unlocked to push it open slightly for ventilation. Initially, with the window closed, the room was as hot as summer in winter. It got better after opening the window for ventilation. The room had a private toilet and a separate washbasin. There was a bathtub, and the water pressure was strong, so it filled quickly. Soaking in the tub after the Live concert was very comfortable. The length of the bathtub was a bit cramped for someone 1.8 meters tall, but it was usable. The hotel Wi-Fi was available but the speed was quite average; I hope they can improve it. There were too few washing machines at the hotel, only two on the second floor, but they were inexpensive. When I returned in the evening, they were often occupied, so I had to wait. If clothes are left in the washing machine for too long, they will be taken by the front desk for safekeeping. There was also a public laundry room nearby, but I didn't go, assuming the prices wouldn't be as good as the hotel's. The hotel has sofas on the first floor where you can sit, but the common area seemed small, not as big as Toyoko Inn (like the one in Ikebukuro; there's also a Toyoko Inn next to this hotel, but I don't know its situation). There wasn't much space to eat bento boxes. The second-floor restaurant is only open for breakfast and requires payment. There's a water dispenser and ice machine next to the washing machines on the second floor. The room has a kettle, tea bags, and coffee sachets. Disposable toothbrushes and facial cleansers can be picked up from a cabinet in the lobby on the first floor; they are not directly placed in the room, which is something to note. Overall, this hotel is quite similar to most business hotels in China (like Hanting or Home Inn), but the rooms are slightly smaller. Considering the price, location, and cost of living in Japan, it's actually pretty good, especially for two people. The only drawback is the extremely limited number of washing machines. A budget hotel I stayed at in Osaka had six washing machines and dryers, so having only two here is definitely insufficient. I hope they can add more in the future."

"The hotel is a bit of a walk from the station, about ten minutes, which feels a bit far when you're dragging luggage. Once I got used to it, it wasn't too bad. My room had a shower, so if you want to soak, you have to go to the public bath on the first floor. It's not very big, but the environment is decent. It can get a bit crowded in the evenings, so it's better to go after 10 PM. The room itself was clean and tidy, which I was happy with."

"I booked a single room. Although the room wasn't large, it had everything I needed and was perfectly adequate for one person, especially considering the affordable price. The view from the window was beautiful, especially at night. The biggest surprise was breakfast. They offered tuna and squid sushi, plus unlimited sashimi – that alone makes it better than many five-star hotels. The breakfast selection was also very diverse, with not only Japanese options but also bread and mousse cakes. Enjoying breakfast by the window while taking in the morning view of Yokohama was a real treat."

"I usually don't write reviews, but the service at this hotel was truly frustrating. First, the environment and location are great, and the hotel facilities are new, clean, and tidy. However, when checking in, there were about 30 people in line in the lobby, and only three or four staff members at the front desk. The efficiency was incredibly low. One family of three seemed to be dealing with something for about twenty minutes. Then, they have a few self-service machines. A staff member led me to one of them, and even though there was a Chinese language option, they selected Japanese. I thought they were helping me, but after I entered my name, they just left 🫪🫪! Luckily, I know a bit of Japanese, otherwise, I would have been completely lost. What made me most speechless was after checking out. I stored my luggage and went out to eat. When I returned to pick up my luggage, my friend went to the restroom, and I sat in the lobby for a bit. Immediately, a female staff member came over and asked me what I was doing there. She asked if I was picking up luggage. I said yes, but my friend was in the restroom, so I needed to wait a bit. She then asked, ”How long?!” What's the deal? Can't I even sit in your high-and-mighty lobby after checking out? It was truly speechless."

"I've stayed at different hotels in Yokohama a few times, and this time the Gizan Hotel was a pleasant surprise. The price was really affordable, and it's super close to both Chojamachi subway station and JR Kannai station. There's a Lawson convenience store right downstairs, and it's only a two or three-minute walk to the shopping street, making transportation and shopping incredibly convenient. Excellent value for money."

"Overall, a pleasant stay. The bed is extremely comfy. Having three pillows is a plus. Compared to the conventional hotel in Tokyo, this hotel is relatively large for this standard. The view from the hotel is decent. It’s wished that there are washing machines available. One critical thing is that the room is quite dusty though… You can see the dust floating under the light at the entrance. As for the transportation, it’s around a 3-4 minute walk from Shin-Takashima station (an extra 210yen if you depart from Yokohama station). You can also walk from Yokohama station, but it takes around 15 minutes (and drains quite a lot of stamina if you are carrying your luggage around) The area around the hotel is quite modern but not overwhelming crowded (maybe there wasn’t a concert at KT Zepp Yokohama during my stay at the hotel). There is two 711 nearby and a small-scale food court as well. Other than that, there are not much to shop nearby. In a nutshell, a good hotel with a quiet but not intimidating ambience at night. A less dusty room would be highly appreciated. The location is good enough if paying a 420 yen-round trip everyday for one stop from Yokohama is not financially burdening to you."

"The hotel is conveniently located right next to Koganecho Station. There are several convenience stores nearby, which makes grabbing essentials very easy. The triple room was a decent size, and we could open our suitcases. However, the ceiling felt a bit low, making the room feel a little cramped. Overall, it's a good choice."
