"Had a wonderful stay at Hare-Tabi! I don’t speak Japanese but the staffs were so helpful using body language + translator to make everything happen! Unlike other capsule hotels where you only have a bed size area to yourself, Hare-Tabi allows you with a bit storage/ leg room next to the bed! Not to mention about their free sauna service included in your package ! It provides the best relaxation before/after a day of exploration around Yokohama China town. You will find some quiet time to yourself using their services here. I’m sure you will enjoy the stay or even purely just the sauna service here!"

"The hotel is located in Chinatown. It is quite easy to find and it is convenient to eat. A free cup of drink is provided upon check-in. The owner is also very kind. The bathroom and toilet are very close to the bedroom, which is quite troublesome. The sofa in the rest place is very comfortable. You can read the magazines in the office. The boss has marked the time and transportation methods required to go to nearby stations and attractions. Still very good."

"Cozy place. A tv that can either be a good thing or a bad one if ppl turn it up too loud and spend hours on it zapping around. In the same time in that same common area it’s forbidden to talk, as this place is supposed to be for eating and working, but then they place a tv with Netflix and YouTube and all that stuff in that same room. It’s too hot in the dormitory with too thick blankets at the same time. Otherwise the view from the common space is great and there’s a balcony for smoking on the other side of the apartment. In the end I worked in the stairway…also they place the ppl close to each other even if there’s a lot o space to keep them at distance. So half of the dorm was empty but still I had a snoring guy sleeping right underneath my bed…this can be improved."

"People who complain about neighbourhood are partially right, because it's indeed not the best (a lot of cheap hostels there). But actually, it is still safe. (It is Japan!) And yes, you get a WHOLE ROOM, and not just a capsule like in another hostels. A young girl like me was completely okay and nothing bad happened during my four days stay there. The staff is friendly. I walked through all the Yokohama by feet, so you can say it's pretty near the city centre"

Outstanding

GGuest UserThe men and women were in the same cabin, but the bed area was separated and I didn't feel uncomfortable. I stayed in a standard bed, but it was wider than the recent new capsule hotel and there was a bath, so I was able to spend comfortably without the sound of the nearby room. Check-in after 6pm was check-out at 9am, but it was just right because it was an early morning flight the next day. I was able to make a reservation at a cheap price while there are many places where I spend more than 10,000 yen at a capsule hotel on Saturday. The building looks old but kept clean and close to the station, so I will use it again next time.

BbbbhyoonThis is actually my first time staying at capsule hotel and i was surprised becos its beyond my expectations. The staff speak okay english, and the hotel itself are very clean both for sleeping area and also bathroom area (very important!!). The location also very good cos it’s close to Yokohama station. If you have any business around Yokohama or maybe around K-Arena Yokohama, this capsule hotel is perfect for you. All in all i very recommend this accommodation especially for solo travelers! ^^
