AAnonymous UserHotel is located at the quieter side of Yokohama (compared to staying near the JR station)- good for light sleepers and is 500-metres from Chinatown. Grateful for the upgrade in the room category! We also enjoyed the complimentary Nespresso coffee on L1 and L7 lounge and were able to use the laundromat (¥400/session for washer and ¥100/30mins for the dryer). Only issue was there is no parking facilities at the vicinity and guests are recommended to park at the Osanbashi Pier terminal which is a 10-15min walk away. Parking charges as of May 2026: Max ¥1500 for weekday and ¥2000 for weekends. Nevertheless the train station is just right below the hotel.

LLiu MichelleI stayed for five nights, and the hotel's location is excellent – super convenient for shopping, dining, and getting to the train station or airport. Since there were three of us, the hotel kindly added an extra bed for the third person at no charge. The stay was comfortable, and the toiletries were fully stocked, so even if you forget your personal items, you're covered. They replenished the fridge daily with beer and drinks, and the drip coffee was surprisingly good. The breakfast had a wide variety of choices; you could even make your own mini-burgers. Both the food and service at breakfast were great. The only downside was the check-in process, which felt quite chaotic. Perhaps it was a busy day, and the front desk and concierge were overwhelmed. I was with two elderly people and heavy luggage, and I had to find someone to check us in and move our luggage entirely by myself. There was no guidance or assistance from the hotel staff. In contrast, I saw staff members escorting a young lady to her room with just a small handbag. I believe hotels should prioritize assisting guests with elderly companions, children, heavy luggage, or those with mobility issues. In the following days, I also noticed staff taking young guests with no large luggage to my floor, which left me confused about their service policy. This aspect of the experience was quite disappointing.

AAnonymous UserIf you’re looking for a hotel near K-Arena, this one is absolutely worth considering. The location is excellent, situated in a business district with plenty of restaurants available during the daytime. There’s a 7-Eleven on the first floor, which is very convenient, although it closes at 11:00 PM. After around 9:00 PM, it can be a bit difficult to find late-night food nearby. However, the vending machines offer options like takoyaki and pork teriyaki rice, which are helpful for a quick late-night meal. The room is spacious enough for two people and offers a great view. The bathroom is large and separated from the toilet, which makes it more comfortable to use. Amenities are available at the lobby for guests to pick up, and they provide everything you might need—cleansing oil, face wash, cotton buds, conditioner, shaving cream, shaving kits, and more. Pajamas are also provided in the room, and they are very comfortable. One of the highlights is the onsen located on the lobby floor, open until 1:00 AM. It’s perfect for relaxing after a long day of meetings or events. There is also a laundry area with washing and drying machines at a very affordable price. However, the dryer may not fully dry clothes even after 90 minutes, so keep that in mind. The lobby area is suitable for working late into the night. Wi-Fi is strong, and complimentary coffee and hot tea are available 24/7. The TV is excellent—Sharp 4K with good sound quality—perfect for watching your own Netflix content. Overall, a great stay, especially for business travelers or anyone attending events at K-Arena.

PPangxiaozhuyaojianfeiThis was my first time staying here, though I'd passed by before and really liked the area. This time, I specifically chose Yokohama for a weekend getaway. The Narita Express takes you directly here, no transfers needed. I picked a hotel near Yokohama Station to minimize walking. However, finding the Northeast Exit A was a bit of a challenge. I couldn't exit directly from the north exit and always ended up looping through the central north exit, haha. I'll try again next time. This was the first time in my life experiencing such a noisy JR (train) room. The sound of trains passing by was incredibly loud, but I managed to train myself to view it as white noise. I didn't sleep well for two nights. Still, it's much better than the vibrating subway rooms back home, which reminds me of the agony of some hotels near Chunxi Road in Chengdu. Despite the noise, the hotel's location is actually quite good, and the service and room size are better than the Sotetsu hotels in Tokyo. Plus, having a Family Mart convenience store and Beck's Coffee right next door was a huge plus. However, I won't be considering this hotel again in the future. I'm getting older and can't handle the noise anymore.

JJinjingToday, under a beautiful sky, I arrived in the seaside city of Yokohama and checked into the InterContinental Yokohama Grand. Although the hotel shows its age a bit, the lobby is spacious, bright, and grand. The room facilities are complete, and the bedding is soft and comfortable. Outside the window, I could see the Ferris wheel and amusement park, with skyscrapers towering nearby. The breakfast offered a rich variety, and the night view was spectacular. Overall, Yokohama gave me a strong sense of the future!

Best feature: it’s only a 3-minute walk to Shin-Yokohama Station, which made getting around incredibly easy. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance, so dining options are plentiful. Llxdee_2486Great budget stay for the solo traveler! The place was always thoroughly clean and staff were friendly and helpful. It took some getting used to since it was my first time staying at a capsule hotel. For instance, no outside shoes in the capsule area: disposable slippers are provided once you arrive, so switch to those affter putting down your luggage. If you need an extra pair, you can grab one at the front desk. Also, your locker key has a QR code attached, so that you can scan to enter the capsule, locker, and shower areas. I kept forgetting to walk with it just going to the locker room, which you need the QR code to access! Thankfully, other guests would open the door for me since we shared the same space. One thing to note is the cleaning time between 11 AM and 3 PM: the capsules are unusable since they change the sheets, make the beds, etc., so it's best to be out in the city exploring or down in the lobby. Any bottles you leave in front of your capsule might be considered trash when they clean, so if you want to keep your drinks, keep them in the locker. If you have several personal items on your bed inside the capsule, depending on what it is, they may not enter to change the bedding, etc. so keep that in mind. They also provide sleepwear, disposable toothbrush and mini toothpaste, bath and hand/face towels in a small bag that they replace each day! There are proper places to return used sleepwear and towels (large laundry bags are clearly marked), same with trash disposal. There is a shower area with separate stalls. Many people tend to shower at night, so if you don't want to wait, it's best to shower before the cleaning time in the morning, or before 10 PM. Some girls would shower (and sometimes wash their hair), so it's common for many people to be in the showers late at night, even after midnight! Thankfully, there are small couches in this area, so no need to stand and wait. Also, the lockers are a bit tiny and narrow (see pic with disposable slippers), but I assume they are the standard for capsule hotels. They are the main storage for small items; luggage (like suitcases) is stored in an adjacent room. All in all, I would stay there again! Very close to Yokohama station, there are several restaurants, a few Family Marts and a Lawson's are within walking distance, as well as a mall called VIVRE with about 8 floors to browse.

SsgargiuloThe hotel is short walking distance from shin-yokohama station. Check in was easy and smooth. Out room was a bit small and tired , typical business japanese style but the furniture looked worn. The bathroom was also japanese style : no window + small bathtub with shower and minimal (well equipped) space overall. If you are lucky enough to get an upper floor room , the view from the big window is nice. On the basement there is a 7Eleven and just out of the hotel it is plenty of shops/restaurants

AAnonymous UserThe location is super convenient. From Exit 3 of Motomachi-Chukagai Station (Tokyu Toyoko Line), turn left and walk straight. When you spot a 7-Eleven, turn left again. Continue to the very end of the street, and you'll see the hotel sign in the upper right corner. Head inside, and that's the hotel entrance.
