Amazing
AAngelawangStayed at Daiwa Roynet Hotel Kumamoto recently and had a comfortable stay overall. The room was spacious enough to comfortably open 2 large luggage, which was a big plus. Amenities were well provided and the location was very convenient, with plenty of eateries nearby.
The only area I felt could be improved was the bed and pillows, as they were a little too soft for my preference. Other than that, it was a pleasant and convenient stay.
MM.Sim007Fantastic new hotel! We took a 37sm corner room, large for japan standard Breakfast soread is good and delicious. Hotel beds are also the best so.far (for tjis 10days trup Kyushu) location is ver central, food plentiful..only issue we had is carpark (due to the central location and probably due to Golden Week,), no parking anywhere near the hotel and ended up waiting for more than an hr to park at Times parking which cost 3600 yen till next day. Overall, we highly recommend this hote.l
GGuest UserThe room was new and the service was good. You absolutely must try the complimentary 60-minute hot spring bath; although it's a large public bath, the environment is very comfortable. The location is a 3-minute walk from Suizen-ji Temple and about a 17-minute taxi ride from Kumamoto Castle. Breakfast and dinner were also delicious.
AAnonymous UserExcellent stay in Kumamoto! The hotel was clean, modern, and very comfortable. The room was well-maintained and surprisingly spacious, with all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with any questions.
The location was convenient, with easy access to public transportation, restaurants, and popular attractions. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient, making the overall experience hassle-free.
Great value for money and one of the highlights of our trip to Kumamoto. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.
GGuest UserThe location is great, near to the malls and Kumamoto Castle. The room is great, nice street view and rather spacious. The buffet breakfast is fine, and the coffee served is really good. The only problem I was facing is the room temperature. It was a little warm and stuffy without AC, I could not have a good sleep because of that.
JJiaojiaotouThis was my second stay here. It's less than a kilometer from Kumamoto Shinkansen Station, right next to the Shirakawa River. After leaving the hotel, you cross a bridge and can then take a leisurely stroll along the clean riverside path. Another bridge brings you to Kumamoto Shinkansen Station. The whole walk takes about 15 minutes. The hotel is a bit older, but overall it's still very clean and pleasant, and the breakfast is quite good. There's a Japanese restaurant called Korin next to the smoking room on the first floor, and the food is delicious. The rooms are pretty clean, and while the bathrooms are small, they're perfectly acceptable. In terms of location, it's certainly not as convenient as Bloom right next to Kumamoto Station. You won't find any convenience stores nearby; the closest one is a LAWSON about a 10-minute walk behind the hotel.
