SSwamyAtour hotel is in a walkable distance from Danyang railway station. I find the hotel very clean and the service was excellent. When I was sitting in reception, Atour employee offered me water without asking. Special mention about the Manager Mr Wang Dong who could speak English and helped me guiding on local transportation. When I called him in the evening for some clarification, he picked up the phone even though he is out of office and answered my questions. Great friendly staff. I liked the breakfast also

ZZuibaodexiaokeaiLast time I went there, I booked three standard rooms at once. It's no exaggeration to say that those who travel to Zhenjiang recently can go there without a second thought. The location cannot be said to be completely in the city center, but Zhenjiang is too small, so it is super convenient to take a taxi, and most importantly, the hotel is very new! All facilities are in place. It's so happy to live here. The service attitude is also good. I'm too lazy to run around in the hot summer. There is a restaurant in the hotel lobby. The food is delicious and not expensive. It's no problem to travel with family. I was worried that it was Atour X. It's better than many Atour stores! It's located within a large, secure compound, giving it a very private and spacious feel. The interior is well-maintained and comfortable, and the breakfast spread is very generous. GGuest UserThis time the hotel exceeded expectations. I used to live in the city every year. This year, I chose a hotel in the new district because I brought a dog 🐶. I thought the price was cheap and I didn’t report a lot of expectations. I didn’t expect it to be super good in all aspects. First, the room is super big, the twin bed 1.8m, the stay is very loose, Second, the room facilities are complete, and the cooking station and washing machine are also brought. The clothes are just washed. The third is that the breakfast is also good. It is mainly Chinese food. There are fewer types of fancy, pot noodles, egg cakes, which are very suitable for the Chinese stomach. The topping green peppers are very fragrant, and the surrounding environment is also good. Get up early and take the dog around, the oversized square and lake view, comfortable and leisurely, watch a lot of dreamy fireworks at night, take pictures of the extremely beautiful fire tree silver flower, corresponding to the glowing Ferris wheel 🎡, our room can actually be named the fireworks room, because you can watch it while lying in bed. As soon as I entered the lobby, the atmospheric decoration style attracted me. It was full of high-end sense and the layout was very festive, suitable for taking pictures and punching in! The room surprised me even more, the space was spacious and bright, and the details showed the quality. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and the toiletries are of high quality and very comfortable to use. The hotel's service is first-class. From the front desk to the cleaning, everyone is smiling, especially the front desk Xiao Zhang makes me feel very warm. I also sent a small snack intimately, super love. AAnonymous UserI booked this hotel specifically for the 2-meter bed, and while I didn't pay attention to the room size, it turned out to be incredibly spacious!
The windows can be opened and have screens. There were two sofas, a desk, and a chair, which was really comfortable! The location is at one of the entrances to the old street (closer to Beigu Mountain, further from Jinshan Temple).
However: The exterior of the building looks a bit rundown (though Xijindu in general might have this aesthetic). The front desk area (decor-wise) felt more like a guesthouse, and I felt a bit disheartened during check-in (especially since I had initially planned to stay at Holiday Inn, and the weekday price difference wasn't significant). The sitting area is by the window, while the bed is in the middle of the room. The two areas aren't light-separated, so if someone needs darkness to sleep, the other person would have to stay in the bathroom if they're still awake. I tried calling the front desk multiple times, but no one answered!
But then again: Once the call connected, they were very quick to deliver items. They even offer late-night snacks at 9 PM (either Guogai Noodles or Tremella soup). A small bowl of Tremella soup, wrapped in cling film, was delivered and tasted quite good.
Perhaps because there are many buildings, the room was pre-stocked with many chargeable items: drinks, coffee, disposable towels, underwear, and even small boxes (placed to the left of the sink). For families with children, I'd suggest putting these away beforehand.
