The room was clean, the staff were friendly, and even though I left two things behind in a hurry, they found them and sent them back. A very good hotel with excellent staff; I would definitely stay here again. 😊

Guest UserThe soundproofing is really bad. Someone checked into the next room late at night, and I could hear every footstep inside their room clearly. The sound of their shower was as if it was right next to me. In the morning, the hallway cleaning was also very noisy… The tea eggs at breakfast were spoiled, and the fruit was unripe and super sour. Maybe that’s just how it’s supposed to taste, but I wouldn't dare say.

Despite our late arrival, the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and efficient during check-in. They even thoughtfully upgraded our room and provided complimentary warm milk to help us sleep. The room itself was very comfortable, the mattress was incredibly comfortable, and the excellent soundproofing ensured a perfect night's sleep. Breakfast was delicious, offering a great variety of choices, and the service staff were courteous and attentive. In the afternoon, the front desk proactively offered us a complimentary late check-out, which was incredibly thoughtful! Overall, an absolutely wonderful experience!

Guest UserThe price is really good for off-peak travel. From the moment we arrived, the hotel front desk provided us with meticulous service with a professional and enthusiastic attitude. Not only did they patiently select a comfortable room for us to ensure that we stayed at ease, but they also carefully introduced the beautiful scenery and characteristics around the hotel, which gave us a deeper understanding of Zhenjiang. In particular, the tourist route planned for us by Xiao Zhang at the front desk was so thoughtful! I was deeply impressed that she took the initiative to contact us when something accidentally fell in the lobby. Your enthusiasm and professionalism made us feel the warmth of home and made this trip more memorable. It is our luck to meet a front desk like you who serves with heart! I am very satisfied with this stay experience. There are many parking spaces, and there are places with popular snacks around. The room is also clean and tidy. The waiters I met are all warmly greeted. It is a happy and satisfying experience.

A Night OwlFacilities: The overall decor is simple; it was reportedly formerly a staff apartment complex before being converted into a hotel. While not luxurious, the details are quite thoughtful. For example, there's a children's toilet seat, children's pajamas, a clothes rack, a desk, and even a Lego building board. It's especially suitable for families with young children.
Service: The front desk staff were very warm and attentive. However, the security guard on night duty was rude. Around 10 PM, I called the front desk to inform them that my Ctrip welcome fruit hadn't arrived, and they immediately agreed to send it. However, when the security guard delivered the fruit, he first asked me in a harsh tone if no one had actually delivered fruit before giving it to me. It made me feel like I was trying to take advantage, which was really uncomfortable. Whether I asked for extra fruit or not, the front desk could easily check. It was clearly the hotel's oversight, yet they suspected the customer of trying to take advantage? It was truly unpleasant! The fruit that finally arrived was also not fresh; some parts were rotten.
Environment: The location is rather remote. There's a decent local restaurant about 500 meters away. There's a park nearby with activities on Mid-Autumn Festival evening, featuring lots of drumming and music. However, the hotel's soundproofing is poor, which greatly affected my sleep. Fortunately, the activities ended around 9 PM and didn't disrupt my rest.
Breakfast was simple but adequate.

The hotel is right next to Xinhu Lake and has a great environment. The front desk staff are always very enthusiastic. When I made a small mistake, the beautiful staff kept saying hello and apologizing and gave me many small gifts. I felt embarrassed. The food in the hotel restaurant is delicious, and the pufferfish is delicious. By the way, the toiletries are all from the Herborist series, and the quality of Jinling is really good.

Shuxiang Xinbo Hotel is in a very good location, located in the popular Gyeonggi-ro street in Xijindu, surrounded by many attractions and very convenient for travel. The hotel's service is also very satisfactory, especially thanks to Xiaohong for her enthusiasm and meticulousness, and I felt very warm during my stay. I also unexpectedly received a thoughtful souvenir when I checked out, which was really a surprise. The hotel also prepared free supper for the guests, such as white porridge, tea eggs and white fungus soup, which not only warmed the stomach, but also showed the hotel's care and concern. The overall stay experience was very pleasant, and the details reflected the hotel's thoughtfulness and thoughtfulness. Highly recommended!

Anonymous UserI booked this hotel specifically for the 2-meter bed, and while I didn't pay attention to the room size, it turned out to be incredibly spacious!
The windows can be opened and have screens. There were two sofas, a desk, and a chair, which was really comfortable! The location is at one of the entrances to the old street (closer to Beigu Mountain, further from Jinshan Temple).
However: The exterior of the building looks a bit rundown (though Xijindu in general might have this aesthetic). The front desk area (decor-wise) felt more like a guesthouse, and I felt a bit disheartened during check-in (especially since I had initially planned to stay at Holiday Inn, and the weekday price difference wasn't significant). The sitting area is by the window, while the bed is in the middle of the room. The two areas aren't light-separated, so if someone needs darkness to sleep, the other person would have to stay in the bathroom if they're still awake. I tried calling the front desk multiple times, but no one answered!
But then again: Once the call connected, they were very quick to deliver items. They even offer late-night snacks at 9 PM (either Guogai Noodles or Tremella soup). A small bowl of Tremella soup, wrapped in cling film, was delivered and tasted quite good.
Perhaps because there are many buildings, the room was pre-stocked with many chargeable items: drinks, coffee, disposable towels, underwear, and even small boxes (placed to the left of the sink). For families with children, I'd suggest putting these away beforehand.

The service was great, and the location was good too. Parking was convenient, and the breakfast spread was plentiful. I accidentally left some clothes behind, and they contacted me promptly. Before I even got home, the clothes had already been mailed to my house. Truly excellent!

advantage:
The room is big enough, and the facilities are carefully arranged, with everything you need. The breakfast room is large enough, the decoration is luxurious, and the breakfast is acceptable. The bedding was nice too. On the day of check-in, the people who had breakfast were all young people and international friends, which injected vitality into the old hotel.
insufficient:
A common problem with old hotels: dim lighting, the corridors look like European castles
