VVNFYu Peng Villa was our first and BEST accommodation on this Yilan-Taroko-SML-Alishan road trip. We arrived much later than expected and were relieved that our message to Trip.com got through to the guesthouse. When we drove up to the place (an easy find with GPS), a member of the staff walked up to our car and guided us to the drop off point.
I love the designer vibes of the property which is well maintained with a sizeable garden and plenty of flowers in bloom. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. The showers worked and there was hot water. The western-style breakfast was generous in portion and delicious.
Best of all was the hospitality extended to us. It was the only place where we felt truly welcomed on this 8-day trip. The staff here chatted with us, gave advice on places of interest and sent us off with fruit from the orchard. After the great experience here, all the other places we stayed at pale drastically in comparison.
If you're planning to visit the Kavalan Distillery, this place is a great stayover option! Truly a slice of paradise.

潔潔JessThe service here is impeccable, truly! All the staff are incredibly friendly. My kids absolutely loved the children's play area on the second floor. The hot spring bath in our room was so spacious and wonderfully relaxing – pure bliss! The breakfast selection was also excellent, and we enjoyed the oden available in the evenings.

엽엽한량Aside from the regrettable spa facilities management, I'm satisfied with the room condition and location. Compared to nearby hotels, the customer service during check-in was quite lacking, and the breakfast was also disappointing for the price. However, if they can improve the spa management, which is their strong point, it's a hotel I would recommend.

GGuest UserThe room is of good quality, the bed is comfortable to sleep in, there is no peculiar smell, the sound insulation is acceptable, and it is equipped with air conditioning and heating; the breakfast is rich (there are Chinese and Western meals to choose from), and the meals have changed a little after staying for three consecutive days!

SSIXANA四周有田園風光非常美麗，房間裡有小型兒童遊戲器材，小朋友非常喜歡玩的都不想出門，門口有自行車車可以借，可惜因為天氣很熱，大家在陽台看風景就好！哈哈哈，浴室裡面浴缸非常大，不過大家在同萬劫完成完夠了沒有使用到很可惜，以後冬天來的時候泡湯一定很讚！很滿意的地方！晚上去羅東夜市吃東西，愜意的理由！

PPizza-boyI recently stayed at a charming bed and breakfast that exceeded all my expectations. The highlight was definitely the playful slide right in our bedroom—what a fun and unexpected touch! The kids had a blast and made our stay feel even more special.
Outside, the play pool was a perfect spot to relax and unwind. We enjoyed splashing around and lounging in the sun. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting, making it an ideal place to kick back after a day of exploring.
One of the best parts of our stay was the delicious ********* food served at the B&B. Each meal was bursting with flavor, showcasing authentic dishes that satisfied our cravings. I highly recommend trying their rice rolls and congee —they were simply delightful!
Overall, this bed and breakfast offers a wonderful blend of fun activities and fantastic food. Whether you're visiting with family or looking for a unique getaway, I can’t recommend this place enough. I’ll definitely be back for more sliding and savoring!

🛏️ Inconsistent Accommodation Quality: Poor soundproofing leads to easy noise disturbance. Some rooms have a musty smell, and air conditioning is not adjustable. Several amenities suffer from insufficient water pressure, often resulting in no hot water. Additionally, there are no self-service laundry machines.
🍽️ Mediocre Dining: Breakfast options are limited, timed, and give a rushed feeling.

GGuest UserI accidentally booked the mobi room just thinking it has a nice big bed. Turns out it's exactly what you need if you have a car. Ground floor is a private car parking space with access to the second floor room which is massive and really nice. Didn't realise but there's also a steam room in the shower and a huge bath, so had a nice long soak after a long hike. Pretty handy for the station, nearby shops and there's a fantastic meat bao place across the road and up the street a bit (opposite the temple at the start of the old street). The old street wasn't anything special and I didn't see any evidence of the night Barney happening.
